Candace looked up to see who else was entering the room. It was unsurprising that the first arrivals were mostly the older trainees who knew better than to keep Caelius waiting. A quick look was given to the man before shifting in her seat, giving Minerva a wave. "Yo. Candace, nice to meet you...ah...this is Atropos." She wiggled her fingers, showing off the pair of glowing gemmed rings she wore on each hand. Atropos snorted in her head and Candace pretended it didn't happen.

She heard Eva's greeting and gave her a wave as well, patting a seat beside her. "Hey, cutiepants. Have a seat." See, Caelius? See? Candace could play nice. "Morning, Chipmunk." Even if it meant giving everyone stupid as hell nicknames.

Annnnnd there was Bratface. At least he wasn't slamming doors and making bratty comments today. "New trainees, Tika. Like Gale said. It's nice to have new faces every now and then, eh?" She chuckled at Bix, nodding at his comment. Yes, he did get dibs. "I'm still curious how we got our own weird nickname. Someone should've asked Ben that as part of our Q and A." She stretched her arms up and seemed to relax a bit. How was Ben doing, anyway? She hadn't seen him since that day.

Madison walked into a crowded room. Very crowded. She and Clarice had been on that mission to Halloween, and she'd apparently missed a lot while she was gone and recovering...

Bemused, she sidled over towards her fellow 'strays', waving at Jordan and Bix before glancing up briefly at Caelius. Oh, good, he was here. And dripping. Fantastic. The trainee sighed as she took a seat , just in time to hear Gale's explanation for the sudden crowding. So they weren't the new ones any more, huh.

Madison sat up a bit straighter. It was like she'd ceased to be a lousy freshman and gone up a grade. Somehow.

Minerva couldn't help but overhear the conversation between a young boy and the dark-skinned woman, looking their way silently. She also couldn't tell whether or not the remark was kindly, or if new trainees meant just another headache.

Perhaps both. Perhaps just the ladder.

In any case Candace's introduction was enough of a distraction to keep her thoughts from wandering. "Nice to meet you too! The both of you!" The gems were eye-catching, certainly, as a smirk lifted her cheeks ever so slightly.

No. Blythe grumbled in response.

The topic of 'new trainees' continued on as the older members jostled and joked about the nicknames given. Candace, again, received a smile as her comment was most welcoming of their presence, but as for the rest of the conversation Minerva just straightened up and ignored it.

It wasn't like she had never been the new girl, anyway. The phase would pass...hopefully.

Blythe chimed as if from experience.

I'm...whatever.

Gale, Bix and Candace all let her know they were new trainees.

"Wait wait ... What? I mean new faces are nice and what ever but uh..." Was she hearing right? The teen took one of her headphones off to make sure they weren't obstructing her hearing. They weren't. Tikaanis couldn't help but frown. Weren't any of the other trainees a little concerned by this?

It made her uneasy just how easy they could be replaced. Yes, all of them were still alive, but if one died would there be another five to take their place? Were they disposable? The teen kept her thought to her self and continued to avoid to look at Caelius straight on.

"Hatchlings huh? Cute." She murmered. Her eyes couldn't help but wander at what Gale was staring at which just so happened to be a hunter boy she'd never set eyes on. She quickly adverted her eyes to the girl Candace called cutiepants. It was a fitting nickname the teen supposed. Her eyes didn't stay there long. She found her self staring back up at the ceiling and then at Madison as she entered the room. The teen offered a small wave before staring back up at the ceiling.

"I heard you were playing teach," said Gale, casting an amused glance at Bix. "I also heard Doctor H put on the same show for them as he did for us when we first got here."

<< That poor Clarice. >>

Yep.

Gale's turned a mildly exasperated face in Candace's direction, resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Somehow it seemed that was her new nickname for him, and he was not going to be able to escape it.

"Someone should've asked Ben that as part of our Q and A."

Gale's expression shifted almost immediately, turning from a slightly entertained one to one that was almost unreadable, his face closing off. Candace's offhand, lighthearted comment had almost made him flinch unintentionally, considering Gale hadn't told anyone about that mission, except for the leaders in his mission report. And since Caelius was sitting here now, something told him it would not remain quiet for much longer.

<< It's not like it's easy to keep secrets around here. >> came Jinhai's voice, quiet in his head, and Gale tuned away, resting his head against his hand and staring silently at the front of the table, waiting for the meeting to begin.

"Cutiepants?" Eva echoed, laughing at the nickname Candace just bestowed her. "Good morning to you too, Buttercup." She answered, wriggling her fingers in greeting before she left her current seat to move to the one beside Candace.

"Morning, Gale!" The younger trainee received a bright smile, though the smile faltered as she noticed the look he cast towards Caelius. She stared at Caelius questioningly, and then turned her gaze back to Gale, head cocked to the side. What was wrong? Aside from the fact that the guy was quite obviously bleeding, she meant. She didn't quite realize that the man was the death squad leader yet.

She perked up with interest as more people filtered in, some familiar--like Otto (who was surprisingly quiet!)--and others that she didn't recall seeing before.

Kat was more than frustrated when she had discovered the cafeteria's coffee didn't quite meet up to her expectations..in fact..It sucked! How was she supposed to survive on this stuff? She couldn't! Making a face when receiving a text from 'Caelius', Kat chugged down what ever coffee was left in the mug. Gagging a little, she headed out the door.

Upon arriving at her destination, the room was already filled with the trainee's she had already seen when she had awoken, as well as others she had never laid eyes upon. Glancing from person to person, she winced when taking notice of the hunter sitting on the desk. Someone needs to take better care of himself.

:Just find a spot, and sit down already.:

Shrugging, Kat headed for a vacant seat, propping her chin on the palm of her hands. Now..what could this be about?

Dakota had been on the verge of finding a new mission in his stay in the training facility. So far it had to do with some boy he saw in passing with a mask on. One day he would find that same boy, and see just what the guy was hiding.

In his attempts to plan some kinda of offensive stance on the said mission, the cell he had been granted by the training facility rang with a text from some guy names Caelius. It was a summons to a classroom and with a sigh, he shifted his movement, heading for the room instead.

As he hit the destation, he was surprised to see a fairly large amount of trainee's. Wow didn't expect so many in here.

Chama piped in, she hummed on his leg as he looked around for a open spot. Though he had to admit. There was a ton of good looking girls in here. Like no really a ton of them.

"Alright Alright Chama." He grinned regardless of her antics before taking a seat. He leaned back in the chair and waited. The man in the desk caught his attention for only a second before shrugging.

Mission time! Deryk wasn't entirely certain what to make of it, but that text he got definitely seemed to be important. Making sure he had Tooley on him, he rushed on out, pausing for a moment as he realized he didn't know where to go. Luckily, other hunters were on their way as well, so he just followed them to the room they needed to be in.

Inside, there were already a number of people, making him wonder if he was late already. No. No. Couldn't be. Not yet at least. Eagerly, he slipped on in, taking a moment to look around at the others. There were a number of unfamiliar faces still, which he had to expect.

"Hey guys!" he greeted to the people within, noticing the guy up front. Was that the infamous Caelius? Maybe.

Eva shot a nickname back at her and Candace laughed. "You're cute. You can stay." She was kidding. Honest. She knew it wasn't up to her whether anyone stayed or go as much as uh...it would be nice to decide that sometimes. She watched as another girl enter. Huh...there were a lot of girls this time. Frowning, Candace looked to the door expectantly. There were a lot of young, pretty new girls around. Girls that didn't have the history of going batshit crazy...maybe.

"Not gonna lie, I have no idea why Clarice puts up with Dr. H's bullshit. That guy is a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen." Candace sighed, glowering a bit. Stupid Dr. H. She cleared her throat a bit and shrugged it off, watching as yet another new trainee she had yet to see arrived, Deryk following close behind. She grinned. "Why hello, Mister Bond." Yes. That was what she would refer to him as. Forever.

"...Bix..how many of them are there?" Candace wasn't complaining! She was just baffled! There were so many of them!

it was aamazing how time flew without master Caelius around to terrify them with his sarcastic humor and awful haircut, but with every recess came the end as The boxer saw the written message on his door for yet another impromptu meeting. "Looks like he's back Nid, time for more torture." he muttered quietly as the boxer came back in from his morning workout ritual.

Do I say yay or laugh in your head... decisions, decisions.

He had to admit that Nid was suddenly getting wittier ever since they started to talk more often and had the boil chuckling happily, at least until he walked into the room and saw the faces that greeted him and wiped the smile off his face and replaced it with an irritable scowl. "Great." he muttered grumpily as he decided not to listen to the dragon and keep to himself this time around as he walked over to a quiet spot and sat down with his chin cradled in the palm of his hand, already looking enraptured with what Master Cael was doing. He might have to work with them, but it didn't mean he had to socialize in his downtime as well.

The sarcasm lessons from Nid was quickly paying off.

Cass waved to some of the more familiar faces as they entered the room, probably not braced for what was to come from the insane Death Hunter who was probably bleeding all over as a display of EPIKKU MANRINESS. Either that or it made up for the lack of femininity of his haircut as it was now. Not that it looked... horrible. It just....really needed someone to clean it up, to be honest. The mist hunter made a small face, then looked to Marcus as he came over to sit with her, flashing him a small smile, but trying to not seem too...clingy.

She had a distinct feeling that Caelius would have made a point of butchering one of them to dissuade any sort of 'romantic' thing going on with anybody in the group.

There was a small look of concern that flashed over the girl's face as she noticed Leon take his leave to a quieter area of the room. She made a note to go check up on him later, just to make sure everything was alright. Possibly corner him into a jog or something that she knew she wouldn't be able to keep up with him at. Still, something on his terms, as it was. Damn, that little meet-and-greet they'd ended up having had...well...ended up causing some ********, hadn't it?

Maybe they would learn quickly from this.

Hearing Candace's greeting, Deryk smirked before giving her a wave. It seemed that he didn't mind the little nickname in the slightest. After all, James Bond was a total badass. Having that sort of nickname would give him badass points too, right? Right.

In the back of his head, he could swear he felt Tooley roll her eyes. If that was even possible.

Looking back up front, he soon realized one small detail he failed to notice earlier due to being distracted by the sheer number of hunters in the room. The dude up front was bleeding! Though... he certainly didn't really seem to care. This baffled him a little.

He continued to work away, posting one thumbtack next to the other in a sort of jagged line against the map until the trainees decided that noise control was not in their existing dictionary.

Caelius glanced up abruptly with his usual pleasant expression. "Trainees. Please be-"

- It was then that he noticed the new trainees. Namely Deryk, Eva, and Otto. The trainees could literally see him putting two and two together as the Death Faction leader noticed his new division recruits for the first time. From the more veteran trainee's perspective, it also looked like he was ready to pull out of his infamous Darwinism teaching methods and kill them right on the spot. Thankfully he seemed to reconsider.

"-Seated." Silence as he waited, pulling out a hand-wipe from his chest pocket to clean up the small mess he had made. As an afterthought, he tied the cloth around his slightly more injured arm. "Glad to see the second wave of trainees have assembled much faster than the first. Maybe you will not be such a disappointment." It was evident in his tone that he though them equally as failures, just some more experienced failures than others. "Unfortunately I do not have time today to hold your hand and explain the foundations of our organization as well as our purpose other than what you might have learned: that we fight to protect ourselves and others."

A couple of trainees had an odd look in their eyes, clearly thinking about the entire Island elimination process. Caelius gave them an even stare back. "Unlike your little pet names you gave yourselves during the candidate phase, when you wake up here, you get no second chance. You will learn to work with each other, or your teammates will pay the consequences. Not everyone here will become a full fledged Hunter, and even if you do, there is no guarantee that you might survive a year, a month, even a few days post promotion. However, for any of you wishing to permanently retract your prior offer made to me - to Deus Ex Machina - I would like all of you to accompany me in this small follow-up mission first. Perhaps I will have a chance to dissuade you, or myself, of taking extraordinary measures, and those of you who are a little more unaware about our situation a first-hand glimpse of exactly what it is we do."

Even with the extra additions to the room, and the odd hiccup at the beginning, everything seemed normal again for the trainees, or at least those who had experienced this mission debriefing once, twice, and then several times. Caelius folded his hands together. "Now then, are there any questions before I detail the mission?"

Wait..that hunter had been serious? They were really going on a mission? Candace looked a little perplexed, raising a slight hand before dropping it back down. "Sir..I understand the new trainees but..I thought the rest of us were under probation? Has it been dropped already?" No way. That couldn't be possible. It'd only been ten days! Probation that only lasted less than two weeks? That couldn't be true.
