The ears in question twitched slightly when they became the topic of the girls’ interest yet again. Touch them? He had to suppress a shudder. The smile on his face didn't falter as he flat out said, "No. I'd rather you didn't." He really didn't understand the fascination she held for his ears, but he'd be damned before anyone touched them.

"Now, why don't you let me see your hand once more. I do believe the damage is small enough to be healed..." The poor exorcisma really just wanted to change the topic to anything but his ears. "It looks like a minor bruise and a few scrapes. Nothing I can't handle, I'm sure."

His hand was offered to Myra, and he waited to receive it to take a look. "You never did explain to me how this happened. Or why you were so upset. Perhaps if you talk about it you can come to terms with it?"

A pout formed on Myra's lips. For some reason, she really wanted to touch them. But, maybe she'd get a sneak attack in later on. When Cassiel offered his hand to her, the young Witch was puzzled at first. What was he- Oh, right. Her throbbing right hand in which she caused the annoying pain. Myra gently placed her hand into his. Her eyes wandered over the site in a curious way, studying each and every contour. The young Witch found it funny how her hand was so much smaller than his and yet he was around the same age as her.

"Well.... I'm sure you haven't heard being a hermit and all.... At the Hallow's Ball...." The pout faded into a slightly angered frown. "There was a guy- this monster -who had caused several murders before the grand event... He decided to crash the congregation of students and seasoned Witches alike. Almost killed several of us but thankfully no one lost their life. Just, possibly their mind...." The anger disappeared from her face as Myra remembered the poor student that had her heart ripped out and replaced. "I tried to aid in the fighting as best as I could but no matter what I did, I just seemed so useless! My magic is so weak and yet I've been a full-fledged Witch for some time now and I'm still weak!" An angered grunt fluttered through her now bared and clenched teeth as her hands melted into fists. Her magic didn't even phase the monster she had tried to get the attention of. As her eyes lost the reality she was in and shoved her into a distorted memory of the ball, Myra could've sworn she saw disgust coming from the others at how weak she was. If only-

If only-

Myra's blue-greens looked up at Cassiel as the hole in her chest raged as much as she was inside. His power, delicious power, that is what she needed to not be so useless. An Exorcisma who had power, who was trusting her-

Before her warped thoughts went any further and Myra acted on feral feelings rather than her own morals, the young Witch jumped up from her seat and yanked her hand away from Cassiel's. Her booted feet lead her to and fro in the room, pacing, trying to get the thoughts out of her head. When had she stopped speaking to him and began to speak to herself? How much of her thoughts had escaped her own lips and buried into the man's brain whilst she 'relived' the moments where she felt useless?

Back and forth, back and forth her body went. Unbeknownst to Myra, tears had dribbled down her cheeks and had started flowing with a steady pace.

As he listened to the girl, his fingers gently brushed over the top of her hand to gauge the damage. But, before he could even cast a spell, her words casued him to look up. Did he hear her right? A party? A look of disbelief came across his face. They probably had delicious food... Man, too bad he didn't know about it. That made the poor exorcisma slightly sad and his ears drooped just a bit. He didn't really hear part of the talk about a monster; his mind had momentarily focused on food. However, he heard enough to understand what had gone on.

Before he could ask any questions, the girl withdrew her hand and began to pace across the room. Surpsied, he sat back to watch her curiously. He felt no need to stop her as she was obviously trying to work out some inner turmoil. This hopefully was the first step she needed to find the correct path for her to follow emotionally.

While the girl continued to pace the room, he too rose to his feet and left. His absence wasn't even noticed as he stepped out of the room; only to return moments later with some tissue from the bathroom. "Enough, Myra." He started, moving to stop her with a gentle touch to her shoulder. He then offered the tissue to her, watching her with a concerned look. "Just because you are a full-fledged witch doesn't mean you instantly obtain power. It doesn't work that way, sadly."

Taking a step back from her, he moved to sit once more and smiled. "It took me years of harsh training to be able to do the few things I can do. How long have you been studying?" He asked, honestly curious as to how long the girl has been struggling to increase her power. "You're not a weak individual if you can admit you have your faults. It's also dangerous to attack those that are at a higher power than yourself." There was, perhaps, a small warning tone in his voice in the last line.

"Though, I'm sure you're in no mood for a lecture. If you'd like I can escort you home... Perhaps getting a good night's sleep will clear your mind. I certainly won't let you wander these woods alone after dark; the sun is beginning to set." Surprisingly he wasn't at all on edge about the girls' sudden change. In fact, he was still as calm and collected as he was before, and still smiling. It seemed he didn't frighten him at all.

Something touched her shoulder gently and Myra couldn't help but stop in her tracks. Not too long after, blue-greens hid behind eye lids with a sigh accompanying the task. She didn't even hear what Cassiel had said to her, not even the lecture he was giving. By then, Myra had shut down and contained her consciousness. When her brain turned back on, the young Witch heard the last few sentences that Cassiel had said. A small nod came from the girl.

"Yes, please. A good night's sleep sounds wonderful...." was all she had left to say to the Exorcisma.

Cassiel was glad the girl was calming down. In all honesty, he wasn't sure if he would have been able to handle out of control weeping. But giving another gentle pat of comfort to her shoulder, he stepped back. "Well then, if you are ready to go we can go now." He stated, making a small gesture towards the door with his hand.

He waited until the girl moved in front of him to follow at her side. His hand was gently placed on the small of her back to guide her, assuming she would need that gentle encouragement to start the journey home.

"If I recall correctly, you said you lived in a cottage in the forest? I may be able to get you near Clarus Arbor, but from there you'll have to lead the way. I may know these woods well enough, but I don't know all the woods." He flashed her a small gentle smile before he continued speaking. "I can at least tell you it's an hour's walk at a brisk pace to the town... I'll just have to make sure I don't leisurely stroll like I normally do."

Cassiel's hand at her back actually surprised her. After all, his skin had felt warmer than hers and the sudden touch made her nerves tingle. With a small sniff and nod, Myra allowed herself to be lead wherever the man wanted to take her.

"I.... Ask a favor....." the young Witch practically muttered. "Please, do not come inside my home when we are there.... My parents will be home and will flip out if they see me come home with a man...." Myra said it all completely serious with the tone to accompany it.

Cassiel listened to the girls' words, and then nodded at the end of her request. "I will make sure to drop you off at a safe distance I don't want to upset your parents... I can understand how showing up with a boy in the night may upset any parent." he stated as they walked, only releasing his gentle touch on her when they reached the gateway to the shrine.

"If you'll give me a moment..." he said, reaching into the sleeve of his right arm. He seemed to search for something for a moment before a slim piece of paper was removed. It had scribbled magic symbols on it, a ward to prevent a spirit from passing. He held it to the doorway as he muttered a simple phrase. "eska vara." Once the word was spoken, the paper vanished creating a seal around the shrine. He tested it with his hand, touching the invisible wall. Once he was sure nothing was getting in, he turned and smiled at the girl. "Ok, now we can head out."

Smiling, he started out ahead of the girl, letting her follow as he led the way down the path. He really had to keep reminding himself not to walk slowly. He wanted to get her home, and safe, shortly after nightfall. Surely her parents would be worried if she was missing too long after the sun set, right? "Do we need a light? Well... I'll create one anyway. Just to be safe." He said with a smile, creating an orb of light in his hand, which soon floated beside them and lighted the path ahead of them.

Myra wasn't sure when they had entered the forest or when they had left the area surrounding Cassiel's shrine but she did know that by the time her brain decided to pay attention her eyes noticed that the little sky that could be seen was darker than she remembered it being. After a little bit of walking, Cassiel made a ball of light to help them get through the darkening woods. Instinctively, Myra gripped his hand. When she realized that her hand was wound around his, she let them stay like that as long as he didn't mind. She wasn't scared, just a bit nervous about nighttime forest animals. With that thought, Myra held out her other hand and tried to make a light orb herself. After a few seconds, the Witch was able to form one. It was smaller than Cassiel's but had a nice brightness to it. Proud, she held it out in front of them to help light the side that Cassiel's ball of light couldn't illuminate.

On and on they pressed, fortunately for Myra without very many words. With a small sigh, the light floating above her hand faded into the surrounding darkness. Ahead of them a cottage seemingly appeared from nowhere. At a few trees away from the wooden fence around the property, Myra stopped their walk abruptly.

"This is my home as you must have guessed." she said, her blue-greens trailing over to Cassiel. With a shy smile, she let go of his hand finally. An impulse, a thought danced across her mind and her facial expression reflected that she did have something that swirled in there. In a swift motion, the young Witch stepped onto her tippy-toes and placed a light peck onto Cassiel's cheek.

"Thank you for walking me home, Cassiel. Hope to see you soon." her voice fluttered into his ears and a satisfied smile spread across her lips as she watched them twitch. With the smile still dancing along her lips, Myra sprinted over to the fence, jumped over it less than gracefully, and stopped at her back door before she could stick around for a response from Cassiel. With a last minute thought, she turned around around and finger waved, then headed inside quickly.

When he felt the girl take his hand, he was a bit surprised. But he smiled a bit as he glanced back, allowing her to hold it while they walked. It wasn't like it was going to hurt anything, and in fact it was quite new to him. It was almost comforting to hold her hand as he walked.

He honestly lost track of time as they walked, in a bit of a daze himself. But when Myra stopped abruptly, he looked down at her. Oh, right... They were going to her house. He smiled while she spoke and gave a nod. "I will not go to your house, as you requested." He muttered, finally releasing her hand.

But what shocked him more was the sudden kiss to his cheek. At first, he was unsure why she was suddenly so close to him. Was she going to hit him? But the gentle kiss to his cheek left him standing there with a confused look on his face. He rose his hand to his cheek as if he had just been slapped, but a pink rose color crept across his face.

While the girl darted for her home, Cassiel's mind started to race. Just... what was that? Poor guy had no idea a thing like that was done outside of family. The last one to kiss his cheek was his mother. Seems like he was going to have to do a lot of research on how humans and majin interacted... because he certainly was thrown for a loop there.

"Good night." He said lightly to her, although he knew she was too far away to hear. But he waved back and smiled, turning for the woods. Today certainly was an interesting one. "Mmm... Now for the walk home." He muttered to himself, stretching his arms up while he disappeared into the foliage.
