Serah cocked her head, tapping one of her sculpting instrument absently on her desk. Her eyes had bags underneath and her figure emanated with rolling waves of tired emotion. She had tried to ask Sylth nicely or put a blanket over him but it seemed like he had to have some sort of audience for himself. She shook her head, mulling over her tactics that she had tried and those she had yet to try.
It was sort of amazing, the way Sylth brought out so much of a variety without .. Well, she couldn't remember putting on such tunes for him to listen to. Yet, the pureness and clarity and passion sensation of his music .. It was a shame she was the only audience member. With that lingering regret in her mind, she pushed her chair back with a light grinding of wooden legs against the wooden floors. She walked over to the other side of the room, where Sylth laid, playing a piano medley. Tapping the bottle, her fingers tracing the curve of the glass, Serah couldn't help but release a shuddering shaky sigh. A light glow followed her touch, leaving behind a trail of fireflies, almost, as golden dots lined themselves accordingly.
"Are you excited? Is this something you can't help but want to show someone--" like a child proudly with brand new knowledge or toy, spreading it to the only person he knew, "-- or is it that there's something else?"
The thought of Sylth doing it to simply be an annoyance or out of malice had occurred to to Serah at some point. But she had quickly dismissed the idea, never allowing it back into her logic again. It was an insult to both Sylthfarn and himself. Her other hand an through her long pink locks, in a little bit of seething frustration and irateness from her lack of rest. It was her almost limitless patience that allowed her to speak cordially to Sylth, when anyone else would have dropped in exhaustion now.
"Or are you just doing it because it's fun?" Saya's knees slid down to ground, kneeling at the table, one cheek laid against the horizontal surface, circled by her arms. She almost looked like a student in school sleeping on their chair-less desk, tipping the lyre bottle slightly. All things considered, if she thought of it in a similar manner to a child showing off, it was unavoidable. It was almost cruel to ask a child to simply stop. This was just a rocky time out of her whole lifetime, who was she to demand the usual peace when she would have it at some point or another? Having never been a parent before, Saya suddenly found herself in such a position. And here, she planned never to get married and have kids.
Yet she somehow ended up with one of her own.

........ Well.
"Might I suggest something quieter for today's naptime?" Saya asked with a wistful tone, pulling a couch pillow to sleep on the floor near the table where Sylth sat. It seemed she had no plans to stop Sylth's barrage of music. Like a child who would have been otherwise angered by a refusal or a order of restraint but mollified when given his way, Sylth seemed to shine a little less obnoxiously.
