Shabnam watched his reaction closely. Despite being comfortable around him, she was always alert. She even looked around them to make sure that no lions were coming up on them. It was a relief to hear that he had no mate. She didn't want a jealous hyena to come at her because she finally felt like she found the one. Well, not the one she'd settle down as a mate with. But he was near perfect to the kind of male she'd like to have a litter with. Borachio was just strange.
"How kind of you to take in a stray even though you are by yourself. You must be good at raising pups." She smiled at him. "She is lucky to have a father like you." Shabnam felt the need to lay down. Her muzzle resting on top of her paws that were crossed over each other. She felt very safe around him.
