She saw the attack coming, but fell to it anyway, falling to the ground with Kintama's chains on top of her, "s**t!" The pain she had been holding in suddenly intensified and she found herself immobilized by it.
'I'm trying!' She balled her hand into a fist, trying to push herself off the ground.

"Awwwww~." Candace cooed, looking sympathetic. "Did you fall? You should be more careful." She'd just have to help her up! Of course Candace's idea of helping her up was using the scythe.

"Join me," She hissed, still on the floor; she was sure that she might be bleeding in some areas now. Using whatever was left of her strength, she used the chains of her weapon to try to trip Candace, going behind her legs before pulling on them.

The chain wrapped around her ankle and sent her to the floor, to which Candace gave a surprised cry and hit the ground. She tried to use the scythe to catch herself..
...Oops.
Candace sat on the ground and stared at where the scythe's blade had landed. It had cut Ariane again. Whoops! No seriously. That had been an accident on Candace's part. Kind of. Ariane totally deserved it.

Blood trickled down the arm where the blade had gone through her, and she sat there in silence before laughing and flopping over backwards, pushing her bangs back.

Ariane used confusion.
It's super effective!
Candace blinked and just stared down at Ariane as she began to laugh. What...the hell? Sure, she had been laughing but her excuse was she was crazy right now. What was Ariane's excuse? Nothing. "Are you still sane?" Candace was blatantly stealing the girl's question from earlier.

"Saner than you," She replied before laughing again, placing her hands under her head as a sort of support before she closed an eye, "Whelp, I'm all out of juice today... Might get some sleep here before heading back to get all these cuts examined."
She yawned, and then winced at the pain, before closing both eyes, "I'm sure you'll find someone else to play with you and your borrowed toy, but my baby and I are going to rest now."
'Eh.'
