As far as dragons are concerned I believ in them. Come on, there are examples of dragons in Europe, Asia, and Central/South America. While none have the exact same appearance, they have simalar characteristics: Capability of flight, breathing fire, some sort of reptilian appearance.
I say there are dragons in the world or at least were, as a race humans always seem to destroy the greatest of the earth's beauty and it is possible that ancient humans hunted them to extinction, though I hope not.
Also, I'm saddened that noone has brought up vampires and werewolves (at least I didn't see any refrences to them).

Well acording to the tv shows to be a vampire, you do have to die. To be a werewolf, you will live, but your "period" will be when you turn and start killing people...I don't really want to do that.

I believe that mystical creatures are real, elves included. I think that humans don't see them because humans just don't know how to. I also think that any human you see could really be a faerie or elf in disquise. (or maybe i'm just weird...)

So I would love to meet acctual vampires. Maybe I'm just wierd.

It is a world that I don't want to get involved in again. ---Long story, abusive ex, a lot of other stuff... --- Anyways, I once knew a girl who was a vampire in a way, but she was totally human. She just enjoyed drinking human blood. She was a really nice girl though. We were friends for like a year before I left the boarding school.

i believe that anything is possible if you just believe. These creatures came from somewhere and it could probably be that the person/People who 'made them up' were actually the first to sight them. If you know what i mean?

Actually most religous vampires drink blood to bring themselves closer to the spirit world. granted the few times I joined in I didn't get anything out of it, but the experiences I gained have allowed me to remain more open minded.

Think of it this way, before they were "discovered" in the 1920's (I think that's when they were "discovered") by Western scientists, Mountain Gorrillas were thought not to be real...just mythological creatures out of the local inhabitants' stories.
On that note, a lot of the animals we know today were once thought to not actually exist until "discovered" by Western science. So, as far as dragons (and Nessie, and Yetti or Big Foot, and werewolves, etc) are concerned, until someone shows me the physical proof that these creatures do NOT exist....I say they DO exist and that they are doing a very good job of hiding themselves from us humans. Well, in Nessie and Yetti or Big Foot's cases, they keep well hidden with exception of a select few.
But that's just what I think, and anyone is more than welcome to dispute this with me. I'm open to anyone's opinions, and heck, someone just might prove me wrong! (If ya do, more power to ya!)
