Danny was about to tell off Ember when he felt that same wind through his body. He hadn't felt it when he entered the store and he couldn't smell Jess anywhere anymore but that same feeling was washing over him.

Judith looked up at Ember and smiled. "Why hello there young flame." She said pointing out not only could she tell Ember was a demon but what kind as well. "I'm sorry but my grand daughter is conducting a sale. Bad business to let the customers see personal matters you know. I'll have to ask you to wait here." She said as she stepped in front of Ember blocking the door. "Or I can use that charm up there and eject you to the pit and have this place reject your presence." She said pointing up to a rather intricate spell woven into the overhanging cloth in front of her shop. A symbol that would do just that and a little more as well. "So please." She said motioning to a small table with chairs outside her window. "It should only take a moment." She said with a smile.

Though there was a window there was a divider to give the antiques in the window a background so there was no way to see into the shop.

Danny shook his head a bit snapping himself out of it. "How did you get here before me firebug? I all but teleported here and you didn't even know she was part demon." He growled though something made it feel hollow.

Ember laughed a bit. "Is it my fault You're slow and have no sense of time. Besides I can do a lot that you can't." He said snapping his fingers and his body lit aflame stepping out of his own body showing two of himself. "Bet you can't tell the difference." He said in unison of the two bodies.

Danny growled a bit. "Cheap trick." He spat creating a slicing wind destroying the flame image. "If I had cared about you I would have seen it." He growled.

Ember nodded a bit. "And if I had cared about her I would have noticed she was a demon." He laughed a little.

Danny raised an eyebrow at that. "What are you talking about firebug?"

Ember smiled leaning down and whispering in Danny's ear. "I just like getting under your skin Kitten." That said Ember stood up straight. "I think I'm going to take a little trip. Oh and a gift for you." He said before snapping his fingers again Ember's body completely covered in flame before vanishing leaving Jess behind.

there was a small flash of light from the skin destroying itself and Judith grinned a bit. "Poor soul, they must have upset her." She laughed a bit.

Judith looked up at the demon and smirked a bit. "Oh? by force you say? hmm.... wonder what I could... oh yeah." She set her broom down and then held her hands up in fists. "watch and learn." She said simply opening her hands up displaying her hands and a huge surge of water energy literally washed Ember off her sidewalk. "Look here sparky. Here's how it works in Granny's shop. Granny speaks, you listen. You threaten, Granny uncaps a bottle of whoopass." She said plainly with more than enough attitude to be both authoritive and funny to anyone who wasn't actually a part of that. "Besides that flash meant you could do in." She said before opening the door taking her broom and leaving the demon in the street.

Jessica looked really dazed and Danny looked over at Ember obviously confused. "What? You got here before me and you went on about how you didn't care about her and then you just poofed leaving her and now this? what is with you?" Danny said obviously more than a bit disturbed at the moment.

Jess shook her head a bit. "I don't know what either of you are talking about. How did you find this place? What is with you two and why are you soaked? You're dripping on an expensive rug!" She growled.

Danny shook his head. "Why are you soaked? what was with that show, where did you put.... ughhh..." He held his head obviously getting a massive headache. He was so confused now.

Judith walked in and smirked at the display. "Oh I doused him because he got uppity with me. It's fine, it's water energy it won't hurt anything." She laughed a bit heading into the back room.

Jessica sighed a little and shook her head. "I don't know what is going on with you two but my head hurts. I am going to lay down and if EITHER or you two try getting anywhere near me I'll kill you." She said holding her head and walking upstairs to go lay down.

Danny blinked in confusion. 'What the hell is going on? I'm so confused I can't even enjoy the fact my firebug is soaking wet.' He shook his head a bit. 'I did NOT just think to myself that he was MY firebug.' Danny sighed a bit and looked over at Ember. "Well get over here firebug I'll blow you dry." He said looking rather annoyed. "Unless you'd rather spend a few hours feeling soaked right down into your very soul then be my guest drip all over the shop." He said obviously sarcastic.

Danny shook his head a bit. This felt weird the strange wind he'd felt hadn't left or wavered but Jessica was gone. As Ember stepped closer he could have sworn it actually got stronger. He shook the thought away and spread his arms out straightening his feet so he was standing like a cross then a cylinder of energy surrounded them both seals forming at both top and bottom. Then a strong wind took hold that spun around the cylinder. If Ember lost his footing he'd simply be blown into Danny's arm as he stood strong as a stone pillar actually held in place by his own spell. When he was done the seal vanished followed by the cylinder and Danny let his arms fall to his sides and he let out a relieved sigh. "that was amazing." He muttered before looking up and blushing as he saw Ember standing there. Okay now he was more confused. That wind spell had sent that feeling through him over and over the whole time he circulated the air around them drying Ember. He just felt like he was coming off of the best physical release of his life. He understood one thing now. Jessica was no longer part of his agenda. "Sorry it kinda kills the hair but mine looks better stuck up anyways soo." He said reaching up gently patting Ember's hair down. "I don't really think about it." He laughed a bit nervously.

Danny smiled as he saw the other blush. He couldn't believe he'd managed to make a fire demon blush then he froze as Ember started to play with his hair. He smiled a bit suddenly feeling rather timid as he pulled his hand back. "umm... thanks." He shook his head a bit. "Well now you're dry so stop acting like a pouting child." He said trying to sound as distant as he could but he wasn't convincing in the slightest. "I think I'm going to go clean some more demons off Jessica's city. Most of them are probably just trying to hide anyways." He shrugged heading for the door.

Danny blinked a little at the offer for Ember to come with him. He had just said it to get away from the man really but he bit his lip a little. He knew he wasn't that convincing so he just nodded a bit. "Alright, could always use someone to block off escape routes." He said just barely keeping himself from stuttering. Then he headed for the door again. "Besides I'm sure most of them are in the sewers. It's not as bad as ours but I am NOT getting covered in that either!" He shuddered a bit and headed outside starting to sense for demons. As he tried to though all he could feel was Ember like the man was just that much more powerful that he was actually overcasting Danny's sight. He sighed a little.

Danny shook his head a little. He still wasn't sure what was going on with the fire demon but he knew full well that the sensing had everything to do with his own fixation on the demon and nothing to do with his abilities. At the attack he'd felt it slightly before Ember pushed him but he couldn't avoid Ember to avoid the bird. He growled a little. "I'm a wind demon you twit." He growled managing to raise a hand. "Flight Hex!" He shouted a seal appearing on the winged demon causing it to suddenly lose all of it's lift and drop like a stone. He was outraged that not only would Ember 'protect' him but from a flying demon no less. Sure he wasn't godly by any means but he could handle himself he didn't need any fire demon to help him take on a flying beast. He couldn't help but smile a little though as he saw the claw marks on the demon's back. "Breathless!" He shouted creating a seal on the attacking demon's throat and soon enough it would suffocate and be sent back to where it belonged. It was far too weak to break Danny's seal. "Now you wanna get off me firebug?" He said really just not wanting to push the man off of himself and hurt him anymore.
