Now this was more like it. Jordan's fight had had too much anger in it, it had been fun but it could have been better. She had been egging Before on to stop apologizing when he hit her, so that hadn't been as fun. Ariane had been fun, but not as much as this. She liked fighting Harrison, her delightful Thirteen. His sword got her in the arm and she laughed, stumbling back and holding Circe in one arm. Wow! She felt that one! "Not bad! My turn~." She sang, swinging the scythe at him with one arm.

"That scythe is hard to block," Harrison said. "You'd think it'd be easier since- rrgh," he took the hit, then pressed forward into a stab, "it's got such a big swing and a lot of it's handle, but the blade's just so long that-"
There, that was a hit.

Candace blinked. Was Harrison...seriously putting logic into this? She laughed again, skidding a bit in the mud but using it to her advantage. Fall and swing! The blade came up at an awkward angle but it did its job. "You're funny, analyzing this scythe."

Candace laughed. "I think it's cute. This is fun, Thirteen!" She brought the scythe up and then down again, catching it on Harrison's blades but continuing to push down. Ohhh! His block had gotten better! She grinned.
"You're the first one all day to actually play with me~."

"I don't mind," he grunted.
And he did block a lot of the blow with that one, mostly. B0nez gave him a warning, and he took a step backwards, making a "T" for time-out with his arms.
"Okay, okay," he said. "B0nez has had it, he needs to rest up. You win." He grinned at Candace. "...I think I got it near the end there."

Harrison stopped fighting, moving back away from her and making a stupid sign with his hands. She blinked. What was he...what? He was stopping? What?! No ******** way! Not cool! Candace looked put off, even like she was about to strike at him anyway until he said two words. Two magical words that she'd been wanting to hear for so long. You win.
She grinned, releasing Circe and letting her desummon herself so the glowing blue eye floated near her head. "Good fight. For a tired weapon you didn't do terribly. I'm sad we couldn't fight more though." She pouted. "Rematch when he's not so drained?" She won. She won. Someone said it.

"Yeah, I had fun." Harrison desummoned B0nez. "I think that was good, getting the variety in. B0nez and me won't always be fighting against other kids. She's a powerful lady."
Didn't do terribly, wtf, B0nez said. I did...

Candace grinned again. "It was very fun. And yes, she is a very powerful lady." She looked proudly upon Circe, petting her handle with a small sigh. She didn't want to give her back. She wanted to keep her forever. A shame she couldn't do that...
"Mmm, no~. Thank you." Harrison was lucky. Candace could have done to him what she did to Jordan and Before. The woman twirled the scythe like a large baton, humming cheerfully. "She's so strong. Caelius is a very lucky man...buuuut I think it's time to find someone new to play with. You don't mind, do you?" She was still twirling Circe as she regarded Harrison curiously.

"Nope, if you're still good to go. I'm beat," Harrison said. "B0nez said he'd look forward to fighting Atropos too. ...When he's not sick as a dogfish."
Harrison didn't know how lucky of a man he was.

She was very good, yes. At the mention of Atropos she actually paused, holding Circe still in both hands. Atropos...? Fight her? She frowned a moment. Why would he want to fight Atropos. "Sure.." Even agreeing to it she still sounded unsure despite her words. "I'll...see you around."
Candace walked away then, not even making a move as if she was going to strike at her friend. He was very lucky.
