"Sleep? How could I sleep when I was so worried about you. You... and everyone." While he was worried about the others, he had heard that they were doing well. So Nyx had been his focus. While she wasn't going anywhere, neither was he.

"I'm... alright... C'mon, Mau... Go get some sleep..." Nyx looked about ready to take her own advice, even though it wasn't voluntary. "I'll be here when you come back... promise."

"...You're so stubborn." Nyx said with a bit of a pink hue to her cheeks. "Fine." The tiny woman started inch worming her way sideways, scooting over to one side of the hospital bed, which, considering how small she was compared to a normal person, had plenty of excess room. Sure it hurt to shimmy like that, but it wasn't far, and she really didn't care. "C'mere."

Mau opened his mouth as she started moving. Don't do that! You'll hurt yourself! He wanted to stop her, but he couldn't make words. She stopped moving, and... "What?" It took a moment to register what she was saying. He relaxed and actually laughed lightly at that before slowly climbing into the bed beside Nyx. "Maybe being stubborn isn't so bad, is it?" After all, Nyx refusing to die, Mau refusing to leave- both ended well. "You get some rest too."
Boy would the staff have something to say when they came to check on her.

Mau didn't have to tell her twice. She took his hand when he got into the bed, and almost immediately fell asleep. At least that way, he'd actually get some sleep.
