"That would be exciting," she said thoughtfully when he suggested she might come home to more siblings having returned-- maybe Bokoboko would be back, everybody liked to say how she and him looked alike but she would never really know. Maybe mom and dad would have even more baby brothers and sisters.
"Yeah!" she said brightly, her excitement for her name quest building back up the more they spoke.

He was happy that she seemed a bit more perked up than when she had first come over. At least with things overall, and not just enraptured with the fact that he was a god.
"How about this. We make a promise. I don't go into the swamps terribly often, since it is hard for me to tend to what trees are there, but the next time I am there I will seek you out. Then you can tell me your true name."

Anika was practically bouncing through Yggdrasil's suggestion and she was quick to nod when he said she could reintroduce herself later. She liked that idea, it was nice he seemed interested enough to want to know how it turned out.
"OK!" she said, "I promise."
She wrinkled her nose, realizing it didn't quite make sense as a response but it started as a promise so she had reacted accordingly. Oh well!

Yggdrasil offered another small, but a bit rare smile. He was a happy creature, but smiling all the time was...silly to him. "Alright. I will visit again, and hope to see you there. I'd best be on my way, as my work never finishes."
He turned to leave, feeling a little...proud? of what he had done. As long as he didn't get too attached, it would be fine. "Until we meet again, farewell, Anika."

Still beaming, Anika watched him go, "Bye!"
She watched him go off, ending their meeting the same way it had begun, with her staring. There was a big difference now, though. Her enthusiasm had returned and a curiosity about the world had been unearthed. This didn't have to be miserable, it could be fun!
So off she went, determined to make the most of her quest.
Fin!
