Jerry was wheezing and panting, eyes watering before he had managed to bolt a good several yards away, with enough time to turn and situate himself and his weapon.
Right.
Breath.
Aim.
Fire.
He clenched his eyes shut anyway.
"S-sorry!" he shouted just in case.

Knock back onto his a**, Marcus winced getting back up. It was turning into a game of cat and mouse. Staggering himself up, he went back to chasing. "Don't be sorry dude!" He panted, the hits having winded him. "It's training, this part of the game."

Game. Just a game. With sharp swords and explosives.
But... well... the other man had a point. And... he also had a point in his hand. And was running at him again very quickly.
With a fresh squeak, he hefted up his cannon, bracing himself as he aimed and fired, hopefully giving him something to try to dodge.

Damn, another stinging hit, taking another breath from his lungs. Grunting, he brought up his sword, going after him. "Come on, show me what you got Jerry. You can't tell me those scares are going to just be for show right?"

 Jerry was still self conscious about his healing process. His mouth trembled. His hands balled into fists. With a rather pathetic battle cry, he suddenly tackled the other hunter with a limp-wristed punch. HP: 16

JESUS JERRY WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? The sudden all out brawl move was a bit of shock for Marcus, not expecting to get punched of all things. Shot at yeah, but- the guy punching him? That was left field for sure. Props for trying though.
But, Marcus wasn’t one to hold back, weapon falling out of his hand, he too went with the punch plan.

Jerry reeled back from the blow, glasses slipping down his slightly bloodied nose as he blinked and tried to shake the stars from his eyes, "W-well, then! Nice... Nice one! Just! K-keeping you on your toes!" No sooner had he said that, the cannon was back in his arms, having staggered backward just enough during his recovery from the punch to get Marcus in perfect trajectory.

Pain.
That was... a lot of Pain. Cursing loudly, Marcus rolled as the blow left him winded. Damn, this guy could pack a punch. Eye shut, he swung blind, trying to get back into his flow.

Still wheezing, flinching from the fresh punch, Jerry swiveled the bazooka to follow his opponent. He could feel the barrier weakening. He had to end this soon to save SOME form of dignity! He pulled the trigger, and Roar howled forth once again, the muddy ground ripply away from the blast.

Marcus curse screamed as the force of the blast sent him onto his hand, coughing. Hot damn that packed one hell of a punch. Gathering his power he went again, hoping for a hit. They were bother wearing down now. Death match was a go.

The fist connected with the scrawny man's crispy side of his face, hardened scabs cracking under the blow as his fear shield grew dangerously close to crumbling. Still, he was knocked back with a pained yelp, but it was easy to go on autopilot at that point, swinging Roar up as he reeled for support, shoving the mouth of the bazooka against the other Hunter's stomach.
"No, they aren't for show." He smiled, wobbling at the edges but full of pride all the same. He pulled the trigger.

With the force not only hitting hit, but sending him flying back, Marcus gave a strangled cry and he rolled on the gound. Oh ******** he was in pain. Oh ******** it hurt. Oh ******** battle over he was done, Jerry won. Reset his health please.
