Was this a make out fight? Oh yes it was. Dis was cheering him on, encouraging him to grab a** while he made out with Cass. Lip locked, Marcus was pretty much purring. Cas face sucking, Dis just making tee-hee noises now. Yeah flirting fight was the best.
But all good things must come to an end, and their lips parted. That hurt the most. But he smiled, said sorry... and swung.

It was probably for the better their 'fight' didn't turn into a match of who stayed on top while they wrestled about on the floor, frankly. Because Cass and her scrawny arms would have lost and frankly that didn't help Nicodemus at all.
The same Nicodemus who was prodding around in her brain again.
So you're back after your little excursion, Cassandra? So nice of you to join me the headvoice seethed a bit, but she was soon distracted by another strike of the Moon Hunter's weapon, flinching from the blow and cradling the spot with her non-dominant arm.
"Don't be sorry, just make a note to pick up there later." she replied, her head back in the game now that her ongoing distraction was gone, though she was staring to look worn enough around the edges. Cassandra's stamina was definitely not her strong suit and a mix of that and the lingering soreness probably reflected in her ability to make anything like a decent hit.

A small part of his was screaming to stop and call the fight over, to stop beating up on his girlfriend. But the more dominant part was saying Cass would probably get upset if they stopped it short. That would be like cheating, and well. Cass had wanted a fight. To hold back would be a silent way of saying he didn’t think she could do it. Which he honestly did think, (that she could do it that is). He didn’t want to disappoint Cass and-
Admit it, the idea of losing to the girl you want to protect makes you uneasy.

Cass replied - which had pretty much been why she'd wanted to drop the topic. It was hard to do the whole..fighting thing when your brain was going POUNCE POUNCE POUNCE POUNCE!
Which she'd..kind of had.

....... Nicodemus didn't answer her question and Cassandra made a visible face at it. Yeah, he had her covered, but at the same time she really didn't like the idea that she was being counter productive somehow. She wasn't sure if she was or not, and he wouldn't tell her!
She seemed visibly frustrated and the frustration was in her swing.

Marcus laughed. “My swag huh? Well Cass, I’ll be sure to keep my swag on.” He gazed at her. He didn’t mind dropping everything and making out really, it seemed productive for their relationship. In a way. Sort of. (Okay not really but he liked making out, was there anything wrong with that?) The change in her expression prompted one of concern from Marcus, not knowing what the problem was.
Her swing caught him off guard, and he grunted, falling back. “You Okay Cass?” Though she’d hit him, the expression worried him. Had he upset her somehow? His swing was still there but- concern.

"Well, if you're going to keep your swag on, we need to wrap this up, now don't we?" Cass chimed back. She pressed Nicodemus again in her head, but he didn't answer at all that time.

Nothing at all. Not even a sigh, or some pressing on some part of her mind to remind her he was there. Perhaps he was getting tired. It was quite possible. She shook her head. "I'm fine, I'm just..." she trailed off a bit, and then swung, missing horribly. "Nicodemus has been off since before we came back and he just went quiet on me...."

As Cass's attack missed again, Marcus gave a halfhearted smile. "hey, Once we're done for the day we're done for the day. He can rest and we can cuddle under the blankets." Game plan, he had one. Swinging wide, he missed her as well.

"Yeah, that's probably for the best.. I just.. I dunno, I was hoping this might help work him out of it, y'know?" She seemed disappointed that it hadn't and it was really...strange to suddenly feel alone in her own head. That wasn't to say that she didn't mind privacy now and then, it was just...so sudden it had worried her.
Strange to suddenly feel bonded to a disembodied voice in her head.
Still, it would be just as strange to suddenly drop her task. Quiet or not, she could at least see the glow in the handle of her gunblade flicker barely brighter than it had been in several days. Promising, or so she hoped.
With that, she took another, albeit more sure, swing.

If Marcus was tired, Cass was really tired. The boy had way more stamina than she did and her arms were still sore from the duking-it-out battle with the Zombie ghoul. Damn, she'd get her blade in that one again someday, she knew that much.
"I dunno, I wouldn't be much stronger if I was in a coma, but I wouldn't be dead."
She swung again, a rather effective strike for how tired she was looking. Man, she just wanted to wrap up and probably resume those cuddles.

Oh Cass, marcus was sure you were the best Mist hunter, and that wasn't just because you were his girl friend or the fact you were kicking his a**. Okay it was because you kicking his a** but that's okay! He still loves you.
Smiling softly, the moon hunter grabbed her arm and kissed her again, hoping she would feel better later.

And there he went shutting off her brain again. However, as though to tell her that he was done, Nicodemus made a point of unsummoning himself, turning into the familiar chain around her waist, but saying nothing. He wasn't even disapproving of the kiss.
That was strange, but Cass didn't really mind -that- lack of protest too much, snaking her arms around Marcus's neck instead (now that she had free arms) and leaning into the kiss for a few moments. Really, this probably needed to stop being a battle interlude for them. Though it was an effective 'finishing' blow.
However, she soon pulled away.
"You win." she whispered.
HP: 0! :< Nicodemus has fainted! Take him to a pokemon center!

Bumping his forehead on her's he smiled as Dis was de-summoned. Hands he her waist Marcus was resisting the temptation to just keep making out with her. "Mmm Don't I get my prize then?" Pulling away slightly he nodded his head over to the dorms. "I'll let you pick the movie, you can even look for that Unico thing. But popcorn and cuddles in my room."
A small kiss on her forehead. "Nicodemus can rest and Dis can shove it with his commentary. It'll be out first official Date and boyfriend and girlfriend. Sound good?"

"Mmm, but I think people would prefer it if you kept your prize private." Cass replied, not that the dorms really had much of a sense of..'privacy' to be had. The mental image of Robert in nothing but boxers would probably have made her blush for a month straight if it hadn't been for this -strange thing- that seemed like public indecency in the hallways to and from the showers.
Maybe Cass just lacked the self confidence to just walk to the shower in only a towel. She wasn't sure.
"Movies, mm? Well, I think they had a copy of 'In The Mouth of Madness'. That's not a bad movie at all. Have you seen it? Definitely worth a watch." she leaned forward to give him another quick kiss. "As boyfriend and girlfriend." she agreed. There was an official label now.
She could stop wondering what to call him (well, outside of Marcus and 'Hey Handsome'.), but, with that in mind she finally released the boy and took two steps towards the dorm.
"Race ya!" she challenged and without waiting, she was off. Even if she was worn out as hell and would most likely lose this challenge to. Oh well, just meant she'd hold still longer during the movie.
