"No I do not find you creepy I find you to be most unreadable" he said watching her. "Echo? Yes there is a echo here and it happens to be me" "Just so you know most azrein do not venture this way for fear of reprisals from me. I am not known for my sublety or acceptance of other azreins. I prefer the solitude something I was enjoying until you ventured into the clearing and yes strange one you might say this is my clearing seeing how I am always in it" he said with disdain. "There is more than you?" he asked in a indiginant tone. "I believe one is quite enough".
Turning and trotting around her he watched as she huffed and got to her feet then she amazed him by flipping her hat on her head.
(sorry Thalion can be rude)

( lol it's ok.. she's a bit of a live wire herself when pushed)
"Sounds like you're definitely full of yourself." She snorted. "Maybe you should get over yourself and accept than you're not always going to be alone. Others have the right to wander as they may and frankly, the fact that you assume I should know better than to simply pass by and scout ahead just proves you arrogance." Her wings fluttered with such a fury that they sounded off with a furious hissing buzz. She was a small mare but it was becoming abundantly clear that she wasn't exactly a push over. He irritated her with his rudeness when all she'd done was scout ahead and enjoy a bit of time for herself.

"Why yes I have arrogance have you not looked at me?" "I am Thalion and I demand my due and my due you and others will give." he snorted disdainly. "Once you are here long enough you and the others will come to know certain things, one of which is me. I do not tolerate insolence nor do I tolerate ignorance and you my dear mare have both" he said hotly.
Watching her he saw her wings move in such a way that alerted him to the fact she was extremely agitated. "Good she should be interrupting my solitude I will teach her to do that again" he though bitterly to himself.
"Now odd one what shall we do now?" he asked as he began to trot around her again. Each pass he got slightly closer then before all the while watching her face for any sign of emotion. "I for one am having a exceedingly good time, what about you?" he asked then laughed evilly.

"Give you you're due?" She couldn't help but to laugh right out at him. "So pathetic.. that you think I owe you some sort of servitude.. as though you are my liege." She stepped right into his path getting into his personal space. "I owe you nothing for to me you sir are nothing but an over grown flea bag, a no good philandering layabout." Her ears flicked back under her hat at his laugh. Evil to the core she'd show him just who'd come out on top in this pissing contest once and for all. Her upper lip lifted and she gave a small hop, fluttering her wings insect like which lifter her more in range of his ear. Snapping her head out, she lashed out teeth at the ready. Her intentions were to latch on and not let go.
She wasn't the type to tear up and run away. oh no she was stubborn to the core, an immovable force. As far as she was concerned time and space had better move around her rather than to push her around when she's set her mind to something. It was this reason she'd bent several rules in the past forgetting and acknowledging those that suited her needs best. she accepted the rules and laws were as such but deemed it more practical that some of them be left to the more lawful of mind as they didn't concern her nor her sisters.

Stunned that this mare would be so disobident, rude and overall unconcerned with who he was, Thalion stopped his circling of her and stared with open disdain in his eyes.
"Yes my DUE!" he shouted. "I for one will not tolerate anyone who refuses to give it to me, I am more worthy than you believe and for that you will learn" he said with a tone leaving no doubt of his sincerity.
Cocking his head to the side he stared at her giving her a extremely bored and irritated look at all once. "Now then insolent one what shall we do now?" he said in a tone that left no mistake as to his intent. His eyes picked up the fluttering of her wings and saw her teeth come out towards him. Anticipating this move he suddenly lowered his head and stepped to the side, rearing his head up, bared his teeth and snatched her precious hat off her head. Galloping away from her he suddenly turned and stared at her in a challenge. Dropping the hat he spoke "Nice try insolent one but better azrein have tried and have failed" he said in a cynical tone. " I suggest you practice if you wish to best me for I sincerely doubt you can" and with that smart barb he picked her hat up and held it in his teeth and stood silently challenging her.

She fluttered over to where her bag now lay unconcealed once more and snatched it up, carefully tucking and tieing it into the webbing that hung off her rump. She wasn't about to let him get the bag. The hat.. she could always replace but the bag.. she'd out right maim to keep it from harm. Once her bag was safely secured, she fluttered straight into the sky over his head and into the sun's stream. She'd use it as cover since she knew with it at her back he'd have a hard time seeing her coming.
It was then that she let her wings stop all together as she dove towards him and her hat, streaking by and snatching it cleat out of his grasp as she fluttered her wings furiously once more to gain altitude. It was a gamble of a move since the first mistake and she'd wind up rolling on the grass and injuring herself. Luckily for her though she'd spent a bit of time in her youth dive bombing her sisters as a sort of game so she'd gotten this little trick down pretty well. Once she was up in the sky and out of reach, she flipped her hat back up onto her head. "I refuse to acknowledge you as anything more than a grumpy old hermit. Pathetically disillusion and in desperate need of a bath. Not to mention a mother to send you to bed like the naughty little foal you really are. Really... such a sad sad little foal you are.. you have to go around exclaiming your brilliance and power when all know that true respect and obedience is gained out of the love and compassion of others.. not bludgeoned into their skull by some dim witted dolt with a superiority complex."

Thalion stood challenging her to take her hat from him. Curious as to what this strange mare would do Thalion allowed his body to relax and allow her to take the hat, he would make no move to stop her unless she dared to bite him that would be a mistake she would never ever make again.
Raising his head up higher his eyes bored into her as she did something with that bag and he watched intentenly. "What is it about that bag? It's as if it is more precious than her hat?" he thought to himself. "After this round of superiority is won by me I shall take her bag just to infuriate her even more!" he gleefully thought to himself.
Suddenly the mare was airborne and due to the sun, Thalion had a very hard time making her out but of course he was Thalion and could indeed make her outline out. Though he did not resist when she came at him and snatched her hat from his teeth then flew off above him again and just out of reach.
The words she spoke to him reminded him so much of his father he became infuriated. "Superiority complex? You dare state that to me? Evidently you the insilent mare you are, you have truly no idea who you have the privielige of talking to. Most if not all azreins of this land do not dare speak to me in that tone for they know better as you will soon you testy, indiginant and odd creature of a mare you are. I will happilly be your teacher in the ways of this land. When I am through with you you will rue the day you dared speak to me thus! Now I suggest you leave my presence before my anger gets the best of me and you will not like the outcome. Test me and see you will not win!" he said in hot and irritated tone.
Laying his ears back, baring his teeth and going into a fullout rigid body stance he was ready for her next attack if she dared. His eyes blazed with anger and indignation.

She huffed and snorted, her nostrils flaring with the effort. She flew up a bit higher so as to make sure she was out of reach should he rear up. the bag now sitting at her side, tied even with her barrel. A mad buzzing sound came from her wings as she fluttered, hovering over the stallion's head. " Show me eh? You couldn't teach a opossum how to play dead if you tried you lunatic." With that she lifted her tail up and let fly a most indignant thing. She'd had about as much of his malarkey she could take and as far as she was concerned if he was going to go around dishing out a load of crap well... she'd just have to return the steaming round 'apples' back to him. With that she buzzed off to hover above the trees and watch the spectacle of how he took to her little retaliation.

Thalion stood actually stunned that the infuriating, indignant mare would actually do what she just did. Thalion was awash in disbelief and horror at the same time.
Moving swiftly to the side Thalion raised his head up and glared at the smug mare who was hovering not to far from his head. "You think yourself smart do you not? To deficate on another is the lowest form of self indignation you can do. You just showed how basely born you truly are to lower yourself to that level. I for one am not surprised by your actions just somewhat dismayed that you would actually do so. Then again most azrein's especially mares tend to become that way when around me, to me which I find most delightful and amusing" he said in a smug tone.
"For a mare of your beauty to actually do something so disgusting and unwomanly is something I can not fathom. I myself find you to be what I did not expect. I honestly hoped my initial opinion of you would be correct but alas you are not by your actions you are not a lady you my dear are the opposite one mare I do not intend to associate one moment longer with" he said as he turned and flipped his tail in a severely stuck up manner. Walking at a clipped but elegant pace he moved away from the mare.

She snorted at him. "You're lower than what I just displayed you thick headed pompous arrogant..." She hissed as she buzzed. "You deserved every bit of what you got. I figured if you were going to spew crap you might as well wear it too. To blatantly demand such actions from some one else... it's lower that defecating on another so you see.. you are further in the heap that I am you snot nosed, snake in the grass. Be thankful that was all you got." Her eyes narrowed as she huffed and buzzed of to return to her sisters. She's have a talk with them and perhaps.. now they'd have to blatantly return to this clearing just so as to annoy this thick headed jerk.

Thalion heard her words as he continued to walk away determined not to turn around to acknowledge her presence at all. "Let her believe what she will. She is truly beneath me for her actions and I for one prefer never to set eyes on her again." he angrily said to himself.
He was more determined with each step to be that much farther from her but decided not to hurry as if afraid of her. A long leisurely bath was what he needed and by the rood he would. Suddenly veering off to the right he continued on towards a steaming pool of water that he occassionaly had passed. Most azreins were terrified of water but not him. His father made sure his son was not one to be afraid of anything or anyone. Slowly circling to ascertain the safety he decided all was fine and slowly stepped into the shallow end and allowed the warm water to seep into his legs and hooves. Eyes shuttered shut he sighed and walked slowly going deeper in until his back was covered. There he stayed for a few minutes enjoying the peace and warmth that was flowing around him. Allowing the filth that had touched him to be washed cleaned he thought.
After a few more minutes he turned slowly and maneuvered himself out of the pool and shook himself to dry off. It was a warm day so his coat would be completely dry in no time. He saw a shaded patch of grass beneath a tree and slowly wandered over to graze enjoying the peace and quiet refusing to allow his thoughts to wander to the infurating mare he just encountered.
