Clover sighed "Maybe... he did. Still I would rather work with you or Dorian on an assessment over Quill." she looked down "And to let you know it felt good to punch the upper classmen though."
She took a deep breath "It's alright so far." she said still hugging Attor a little. "It's just started so not bad." she smiled

"I guess he can be a arse sometimes......" Attor commented thinking about it some more.
"Did it now? Just don't make it a habit." He said with a bit of a laugh. "Half the boys in Slyhtherin would so punch you back." Attor said with a concerned look even though he knew she wasn't the type to go looking for a fight.
"Meet any interesting first years?" Attor said with a nervous laugh trying to make the conversation fun.

Clover chuckled "Well he would think twice about ink bombing me out in the open, wall I am drawing." she said shaking her head still a little amused at it.
Clover shook her head "Not yet. I had to give Emma a hug when she sat down at the Gryffindor table because I wasn't expecting her name to be called to be honest. But when I did I was hoping she be in Hufflepuff with me... though I guess with what Gryffindor stands for it makes sence that she is in it. Even though she hate's fighting more then I do." she said
She smiled slightly "I know you don't like Gryffindor's and all because of that whole Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalry thing." said with a bit of a chuckle.
She then looked over at him. "What about you? Meet any first years?" she asked back.

Attor for once didn't seem to react to when the word Gryffindor was mentioned. This year he just really didn't care about such things. He didn't go out of his way to meet one, but poeple could say the name Gryffindor without Attor freaking out for sure.
"Its annoying when someone you wanna hang with is in another house. Means no late nights of talking or something." Attor said with a nod rather having wished once of twice that Clover had been in his house. He was able to spend more time with Vonali then Clover just because of that.
"Yeah Flint, he is a little weird though....He was wearing bat ears, wings, and tail..." Attor laughed a bit at the thought of it.

Clover nodded "Yeah I guess that's true. Maybe I should have Dubhán bring her a letter... but then again' he's no owl." she said chuckling at the thought of the cat she got during the Christmas brake the year before taking a letter to another student.
"Oh that kid that got sorted into Ravinclaw?" she said thinking back to that sorting ceremony when they came back that year. There seemed to be a few that stuck out a little more from the first years this year then last year.

"Plenty of owls to borrow you know." Attor commented he didn't have an owl yet and he just borrowed the schools owls.
"Yeah and I noticed that to...wonder whats with the generation behind us?" Attor said with a small laugh. "He likes drawing though so thats something I guess. He caught me drawing down by the forbidden forest....I didn't go in just sat there." Attor seemed to zone a bit he had thought about going in just to see if he could cheat death again on his own without his snake dying for him.

Clover chuckled "Yeah that's true, but cats seem to know of places that we don't tend to know about and the fact that Dubhán is part Kneazle that he would know a bit more then other cats." she said a little amused "But getting a cat to do something you want is rather like picking a fruit before it's grown."
Clover nodded "Well at least that is something. If it wasn't forbidden I would have gone into the forest to see what creatures where in there." thinking that the forest was rather amazing with it's secrets.
She said then glanced over at Attor as he seemed to zone out.. "Missing your snake? There's always a snake or two hiding about in the fields." she said "Just have to know how to find them... Hay Attor are you a Parseltongue? I was just kind of wondering since you like snakes so much." She though if he could he would be rather lucky because he could speak with snakes. She thought it would be nice if she could talk to animals on a different level like that but at least she knew what an animal would want more or less.

Attor seemed to come back out of his zoned out state. He looked over at Clover in time to laugh about trying to get a cat to do something for you. "Sometime I wonder why cats are familiars for just that reason."
"I'm still tempted to go in." Attor said mindlessly.
"Yeah....all of them...but specially the one that died..." Attor said looking to the ground. "I guess, but I've just not been up to looking for one or anything. Besides most people around here don't like snakes."
"I wish I was....but no as far as I know I'm not one. Mom gave me my first snake when I was little. There weren't many kids I got a long with near by my home. So they became sorta like....imaginary friends that were real....I'd take care of them...talk to them....they never judged me or made fun of me. So I'm just attached to them I guess." Attor said flicking a piece of hair behind his ear.

Clover smiled slightly when Attor laughed at the cat joke. It made her happy that she could help him feel better even if it was just a little.
Clover nodded understanding the feeling, ”Yeah it is tempting to go in there,” she agreed, ”Though being second years might hinder us a bit. Though I know am going to ad Care of Magical Creatures to my class list next year, so maybe we will get to go in… in time of curse.”
Clover shook her head "That's not the point, It only matters how you feel. Besides snakes are quite helpfull." she said, "At least they can be for us on the farm. As long as The wild Barn Owl doesn't eat them. Then again Otaice might eat them too now that I think about it. Though he's not as much of a hand full as his mate since he was trained to carry mail unlike she was."
Clover closed her eyes for a moment to think, ”There are things pets just make better for us.” She opened her eyes and looked over at Attor as she counted ”We get close to them and start to understand them, even if we don’t speak the same. Though knowing what they are saying would be amazing. However the only animal langwige we know that people can use also happens to be a rare trait even among wizards. Then again I guess that an animage could talk with the animal type that he or she turned into.” At this point she realized she had gone slightly off topic making her blush a bit. ”Sorry. I’m rambling again, aren’t I? And I’m the one who should be lessening to you,” she apologized embarrassed at herself.
