"I think this clip will do. It's not like it's leaving my dorm room." Vaith patted the clip one last time, with such a satisfaction, one might have thought that he won himself a rare noise pin instead. His head tipped upwards, eyes refocusing back on Xiu as she spoke (stop staring at the hairpin that was do useful, Vaith!) and reached into his closet to dig out several items.
"You haven't been sleeping either, right Xiu? Why don't you just knock out here? If there's one thing Mai taught me, it's that ghouls can find the weirdest places to knock out. If you knock out on the street, I'll have to tell everyone it was my fault and that just wouldn't be cool."
Vaith would have offered his bed .. except for the fact it was a little weird to offer a ghoul your bed. It wasn't a question like, hey you want my bed, without it sounding on the wrong side of wrong. Which was pretty wrong. He dropped a fluffy pillow and blanket bu Xiu .. and even the little familiar that had been forgotten for quite some time, flew the short distance to snuggle with Xiu.
"You can leave whenever. I'll probably take a nap too .. Next time, I think you should lace that tea with something to make people sleep. They'll sleep for sure .. then.." Vaith had his arms up behind his head, on his pillow as he talked. But it seemed wit the combination of the pillow's allure and Xiu's tea, it already ensured their first decent hour or sleep. Hour. Because nightmares were a b***h that way.

Under any other circumstance, Xiu would have refused. It just seemed kind of rude to take over someone's room like that! However, she was far too exhausted to protest. When Vaith pulled out a blanket and pillow for her, she took them gratefully. Laying down, she curled up slightly, reaching out to pet Note affectionately when it came over to keep her company.
"Thank you," The baku grumbled, her eyelids fluttering again, "Sorry...sorry to be an inconvenience..." Her voice grew softer and softer, and eventually it faded away, replaced by the sound of quiet breathing.
If Xiu woke up to sense that Vaith was having a nightmare, he had better believe that she would bother him about letting her help with that. Otherwise, the baku drifted off to sleep peacefully, exhaustion finally getting to her.
