“I can’t play music for now either I admit, I’m afraid my instrument suffered an unfortunate fate. It will be a while before I can afford a new one to torture my neighbors with. Currently they have no idea that they are living next to the modern 221 B.” He wondered what Ever would make of the violin when he re-got one as well.
“Well, thank heavens for ‘issues’ with ‘water supplies’ I must say. Today has been far more diverting already than I would have given it credit for.” He nodded.

A laugh escaped Magiore's throat. "I see," he said, pushing his bangs away from his eyes; they had a habit of falling across his face in unruly curls. "I'm sorry to hear your violin had such a...disaster."
One dark brow lifted, Magiore eying the figure across from him with an amused sort of look. Then he laughed again, taking another sip of his coffee. "I have to admit, I'm still a little uncertain around this part of town, but I guess stepping into this place on a whim turned out to be a little more entertaining than I thought."

“Here.” He fished into his things and then paused before writing down a number. “If you ever find yourself in the odd parts of town, this is where you can reach me. Or we can plan some time to see that artwork of yours. I at least live around here, but I also study maps a lot as a, well a hobby.” He said though it sounded like there just might be more to it than that. There was a distinct sense of purpose that carried over when he said he studied them.
He slid the paper over to you before leaning back in the chair again with a small stretch. “Sometimes chance leads to the things you most needed to find.” He nodded.

Surprised, but gratified, Magiore took the offered number, folding it up and sticking it into his pocket with a smile.
"Thank you," he said. "I might just take yo up on that offer, seeing as how it's been pretty quiet here lately."
He took a sip of his coffee and then let out a small laugh, shaking his head.
"True," Magiore agreed. "So very true."

He glanced up at the clock on the wall and gave a long sigh. “I have to head out, but do give a ring.” He nodded giving you one final rather serious look over. “I’d very much like to speak to you again.”
He gathered his things and left you with that perhaps slightly enigmatic comment, but what could it hurt? Maybe good things would come of another meeting, maybe you could be good friends.
