Mura sighed again, looking up with a dreamy expression. If she wasn’t careful, she’d end up snoozing on the branch so with a stoic effort the pale leopon managed to push past the drowsiness that was taking over her.
“Yes, let’s go see it.” He chuckled at her sister’s words and quickly started making her way down the trunk of the tree. “If I stay here any longer, I think I’m going to fall asleep.” She yawned as she reached the ground unscathed and stretched her body to its full extension before winking at her sister. “Let’s go, Dru!”

Dru shook herself out of her growing exhaustion, before making her way slowly down to the ground. She wasn't confident enough to jump from that height. Not yet. But she could have jumped from one branch down to the next one. But she felt that would have been close to showing off and decided to climb down slowly. Which can turn out to be harder anyway.
Once at the ground, Dru rubbed herself against Tula, snuggling the tree. "Ok! This way Mura. Its close to the den."
Dru lead the way back to the den and stopped at a fallen tree. Dru had been sad when she'd found it, but then she had found something else. A secret compartment. A hollowed out section of the tree, just big enough to stick her paw into. She pulled the dry grass and rocks off the hole, and stuck her paw into it to pull out the eggshell.

“Lead the way.” Mura said happily, walked next to her sister with a bounce in her steps. He watched the sad dead tree with a curious expression, wondering how long it had fallen and if it could’ve grown to become as big as Tula if it hadn’t.
“Oh, you hid it there?” she asked with sudden interest, moving closer to Dru. “That’s pretty clever.”

Dru frowned as she felt around for the eggshell, being careful not to move too quickly in case she bumped into the fragile shiny and break it. But she couldn't feel it. She pulled out her paw, and moved so the sunlight could maybe get into the hollow. She couldn't see anything. She stuck her paw into it once more, feeling the sides of the hollow, looking for the eggshell or a hole that may have formed, been dug out or something.
Or something happened. A way and been eaten through close to the ground, at the bottom of the hollow. Dru felt her temper rising. "It would have been clever if something hadn't stolen my shiny!" She hissed, not at her sister, but at whatever had the gall to steal from her.
She would find it and she would eat it slowly. That was that. Now she just needed to find the thief. "I'm sorry, Mura, but I'll have to show you later. At the moment I have a hunt to go on."

“It’s gone? I… hum...” She wasn’t even sure what she was about to say. Maybe she could console her sister back at their den. Maybe she could help Dru find her missing shell. But her sister’s little hiss caught her off guard so Mura was speechless. Apparently her sister really liked the shiny eggshell. Such a shame that it had been stolen.
“Good luck!” she shouted somewhat belatedly as the shape of her sister became smaller on the landscape before Mura turned to leave. “I hope you find it!”- FIN -
