Chaonis would always be there for Grus, just as Nate would for Castille, even if he did have to partner every good thing he ever did with a thousand annoying ones. He arched his eyebrow at her, then grinned and nodded his head.
"Toddler, then," he amended.
When she stole the cane from him, which he had switched from holding at his chest to leaning on for effect, he stumbled. For some reason, he hadn't been expecting that. He laughed, though, straightening up and dusting himself off for no reason but because he felt he had to do something.
He looked thoughtful. Just what could they do? He had been breaking into places a lot recently, or at least one place, so that did not have its usual appeal. He didn't have his paintball gun with him. And for some reason, the people at the craft stores never sold him spray paint, though he felt that was profiling.
"Suggest me something interesting," he said, with a feigned (mostly, at least) pompous air. He couldn't shake his usual cockiness, though, but that worked with him.

Laughing, she put her other hand to her chin, thinking while he played along. "Well, there must be something you want to break or a place you want to break into. Or perhaps something worth vandalizing?" Her smile turned devious, something she wasn't used to being. With her dad being a member of the police force, she had been taught that obeying the law was paramount. But after becoming a senshi, Castille realized that sometimes laws had to be broken to save someone. As long as no one but the enemy got hurt, it was alright.
"You paintball right?" she asked, idea striking her. She remembered him talking about paintballing sometime earlier in their encounters. "Well I've never been paintballing before. As a matter of fact, I've never shot anything more than a laser for laser tag. Wanna teach me? Or, we could turn it into a training session."
If he tried to get her with the paintball gun, she would have to dodge. It would be killing two birds with one stone. Castille would get training in reflexes, and Nate would get to satisfy his want to cause mischief and get to shoot someone that won't call the police afterwards. Plus it would be pretty cool if she got to try and shoot him in return.

Nate liked that idea. Going paintballing. Sure, it wasn't criminal, but he didn't have to always be breaking the rules to be having fun. It helped, most of the time, but there were some legal things that were still fun. Paintballing, for example, was one of them.
He grinned at her.
"I like the way you think. Alright, let me get my gear and we can meet up at the range. Do you know where it is?" The paintball range was up town, not a place Nate often visited with good intentions, but it was well maintained and owned by a young couple that thought they were bettering the community by giving the 'poor' kids something to do.
Sure, why not teach them how to handle projectile weapons?
"You can borrow gear there, too," he knew she wouldn't have her own paintball gun, of course, though he had all the gear he would want to use. He'd offer to share, but he only had one set. And also he didn't like sharing. And they were his. So, no, he wouldn't offer to share, as it turned out.

Castille nodded, saying "I think I know where it is." She was only aware of it's location through patrolling, and she had thought that it was a good place to train because of its location and the huge things to hide behind. Her stomach fluttered a little at the thought of holding a gun and getting shot at, but it was only paint right?
She slipped open her phone, checking the time. "I can meet you over there in like, half an hour." She said. She pulled her change out of her pocket, making sure she had bus fare. "I hope you don't hurt me." She added, giving Nate a grin. Castille knew that he wouldn't, at least not on purpose. And spending more time with him was alright with her!
The bus was coming. She tucked her bangs behind her ears, and starte to walk quickly toward the stop, saying "See you over there then!"

Castille was very trusting if she thought Nate wouldn't hurt her on purpose. But it depended on her definition of hurt. He wouldn't injure her to a lasting degree. Bruises and cuts from close shots? Those he felt were more than fair game. Shoving and gun butting if they crossed paths? Totally fair game.
Nate never played anything but to win.
She was right in assuming he wouldn't go out of his way to cause her real damage, though. He wouldn't aim for her eye or her neck, and he wouldn't be merciless about it. There was no need for him to prove how awesome he was at the game, after all: she would see that soon enough. He wouldn't have to try to win.
Cocky as always.
"Alright, I'll be there."
He watched her go for the bus, though his transportation would be a lot more personal and, he imagined, faster. He'd get there himself, powered up, moving along the roof tops, as per usual.
