And well, adoption is a good decision.
I'm actually relieved that you didn't say abortion, because it would've been a shame killing the life inside you. ):

I agree with that.
I have very strong beliefs about such things, so it really made me relieved. (: im glad someone agrees with me. people keep arguing about someone who got raped or defective birth control, and its unfortunate that such things happen, but its another life you have in your hands, er, tummy, and if you were that baby, youd not want to be aborted. If you got raped, or whatever, you still have to consider that that's also a part of you inside.
Maybe you'll grow up as a single parent, but that just teaches endurance.
That's right, what if that was you?
Would you like to find out that your own mother was planning to abort you?
Those people live in a world where they don't consider nothing and just hold grudges. : exactly, and i can understand perfectly not wanting the baby because itll remind you of what happened, and as selfish as that mindset seems to me, it really is understandable. but please put it up for adoption. ya know?

Just keep thinking that you just saved a life. (: exactly ^^ and that baby needs someone just as much as the rape victim would.

Just thought I should throw that out there in case you weren't aware. If you were on birth control when you took the test, retake it after about a week when the BC has flushed out of your system.
Also, this is a thread about Beyond being pregnant, not a forum for the debate between pro-life/pro-choice.

Wasn't saying it was, not trying to lead it in that direction, and I'm not looking for a debate either. I just threw in my two cents with how the topic was going there; no debate intended and I didn't see one getting started, we were just having a mutual agreement. neutral

I just threw in my two cents with how the topic was going there; no debate intended and I didn't see one getting started, we were just having a mutual agreement. neutral Back to the subject at hand, Beyond, I really think you should try the test again or see a doctor. I've gotten false positives from stress before, taking the test too early (progesterone hadn't been flushed from the BC), and even old tests. But, if you feel you're ready for this, really and truly ready, then I offer my deepest wishes that you have a healthy and happy baby. I also hope that the father mans up and does the right thing, and failing that, someone better takes the plate to stand beside you.

I have a lot of respect for the thought for you being pro-life whether you're going to adopt or raise the child.
My brother is crazy about a girl who had a child at 20 with her ex-fiance, a man who ended up being abusive. Nonetheless, she felt a huge sense of responsibility and chose to drop out of college to raise the child on her own. I feel that caring for the future of an unborn child shows that you have a lot of compassion and I admire people like that ^_^.
