She had no idea just how helpful Umande's request was, or at least-- if she did she didn't show it. He had a point, though, if the trip was going to be a while and it turned out she WAS pregnant, then it would be reckless for even her to try hunting alone while heavy with cubs. After hearing rumors of some of the dangers lurking further lands she wasn't sure even scavaging that late into a possible pregnancy would be without risk.
So, sorry mom, but your daughter is airing on the side of caution for this one. She wouldn't risk her possible cubs just for the sake of her independence.
"I appreciate it. I'm sure we'll be fast friends in no time." Isuzu winked, then rose to her paws again and set out to scout out a place to sleep nearby,
Umande was perfectly accustomed to that, of course. He sighed quietly, stretching out as he prepared to settle in and eat as well.
"Thank you, Bakar. I trust she'll be in good paws. You seem like the reliable kind of guy."

"Mmm...fast friends yes..." He responded a bit confused, friends? He had never had any friends? He barely even had any acquaintances in his pride let alone out here in these rogue lands.
He turned towards Umande with a slow nod and settled down his tail wrapping over his paws. "I'll ensure she makes it to the pride safely don't worry, and you get to your sister safely."
