Alai was walking down the street late at night. Officially his shift was over, but he liked to patrol anyway. It kept him up to speed on events. Not to mention there was always the chance he would run into his opposite. He didn't like calling them twins. It made things sound way too awkward if they were to get together. His train of thought were interrupted by an explosion near by. He inwardly groaned. I could ignore it...or go investigate. Since he wasn't actually working right now he didn't have to, but curiosity always got the better of him. Sighing, he unfolded his wings from under his trench coat and took off. It was obvious from the flames and smoke where the explosion had come from. Well, at least my job is never boring, he thought as he flew toward the black smoke.

Ash was flying around when she smelled smoke. She looked toward where she thought the smell was coming from. "Lets go check it out then...." She muttered under her breath before flying toward the fire, staying in the shadows, praying they would cover her. It took about 2 minutes of flying before she could see the smoke, five before she could see the fire. She stopped when she saw the flames. "Bigger than I thought..." She muttered before flying closer. She kept an eye out for people trying to escape the building as she flew in.

Yang

Kaido

The man walked the streets he hands buried in the pockets of his brown jacket, the slight ruffle of the white fur rubbing against his neck keeping him warm, his lightly designed boots clacked against pavement with each step. He felt a warmth coming from the distance, the smell of burning parts, instinctively he brought his right hand from his jacket pocket and brought it back to the back portion of his waist, touching against the cool metal of the blade hilt. They were both tucked into a little sheath the ends of the hilts extending slightly, just enough for him to grab.

"Calm down, Kaido...Calm down,"

Yang said to himself as he allowed his hand to drop and his jacket to fall back into place over the pouched hilt. He reached up to the currently clear glasses on his face and pushed the bridge to his face, his eyes closing as they adjusted on his face. As he open them the red eyes searched the lenses which now displayed information about the environment. This small computer had come to be his favorite informational item. It informed him of rapid movement, a few meters away, several parts scrapped or destroyed...there had been a fight.

Then the real alert came to the screen, a sharp spike in the heat index of the area, much higher than destroyed bots, something had been ignited, and there were life signals in the vicinity.

Yang launched off in a sprint, turning the corner with a bit of a slid, he however caught himself on his fingertips, balancing and moving from there. There it was a building ablaze, Yang's retinal display searched, a tiny reticle scanning for structural integrity which was quickly failing. And then there it was, two tiny signals on the third floor. It was within reach. With a small grunt Yang launched from the ground using his leg strength, a cloud of dust expanding outwards Yang crossed his arms over his face and braced himself as the glass before him shattered into pieces, he landed, as soon as he came into contact with the ground folding his body into a roll and coming up kneeling.

He could hear the small cries of two younger ones. Exhaling Yang felt himself weaken physically as his muscles lightened. He launched from his kneeled foot, almost as if gliding over the ground, Yang grabbed two small children that were standing crying. Just as he reached the other side of the building he breathed in deep his muscles expanding and turned his back against the glass and broke through, falling.

He turned and landed on the ground sliding to a halt holding the two children near, as he held them began to let them down, he could hear their tears subside, small cat ears popping into view. The two children looked to Yang as he stood and nodded with admiration. Where were there parents? Victims of this onslaught of war?

Yang didn't have much time to think, people were coming to crowd the scene and even though the small child reached out to him Yang turned and walked away, shaking soot from his shoulder and replacing his hands in his pocket as his retinal display screen cleared.

"The Observers gave us a prediction..."
..The future is never absolute..."

Yang Kaido

Yang stood now, atop a building a farther away from the scene of the fire, his goal was not to be a savior, no this was his true goal. Disrupting the Gray Order in whatever attempts they sought. Though he knew not what this man had in store, or why they were after him, all he knew was that they wanted him which mean't they weren't going to have him.

Yang drew the hood over his head before the man could be able to get within range to see him, from his sleeves the hilts slid into his gloved hands. What would be visible now were the blazing blue blades. Yang leaned forward the wind circulating around him his eyes closed, even in this much wind however his hood only ruffled as if it itself refused to fall from his head.

He fell from the building as if a missile falling to the earth he would pass on the running man's left side sliding smoothly betwixt bullets his body turning only slightly to just dodge one.

He cut through the first Bot smoothly the sparks appearing as he moved through it, the explosion propelling him forward, he grazed the second just enough to swing his body around on its wires, turning the bot as well. He landed standing on its back, the blue blades now becoming hilts once more, and tugged at its cables the robot responding by firing it's left gun at a fellow bot and destroying it. The blade in Yang's right hand became active again and sliced through the robot he stood on.

Launching from it his body turned into a flip, the black boots sliding to a halt on the building just before gravity took effect once more, Yang could feel his body's weight coming back and as it did, his body leaned forward and he ran down the building into the last bot it aimed it's guns toward him and fired, the trail leading up the building but just as the trail began to reach Yang, his body seemingly vanished from sight. His accelerated speed had come into play. The bot's tracking mechanic struggled to find him and as it locked Yang was directly in front of it falling. The bot struggled to lift an arm. It's sensors had been shut down because two blue blades were inserted into its abdomen. Yang braced his feet against the bot and launched from it withdrawing the blades and launching onto the building he placed a blade in the edge of the building holding him there. Silently he hung for just a few seconds waiting. The robot exploded in a fiery ball, and as it did, Yang swung from the hilt and launched upwards using the strength of the blast begin up the building, the blades faded into nothing but, hilts once more and slid into his sleeves beyond the gloved hands smoothly. Yang exhaled his muscles becoming light and allowing him to smoothly move to the top of the building once more, as he reached its peak he launched high and landed kneeling on the dark rooftop. He stood and turned to the mayhem that he had just caused among the robots. Attack Bots didn't travel in that small of a pack, which could only mean that the man running up the building had destroyed some before he ever reached the building. Who was he?

"...So what are you going to do with yours?"

"The Observers gave us a prediction..."

Yang Kaido

Yang stepped to the edge of the building and peered over, it seemed they had attracted some attention. Only natural when such an assault took place. The main difference, it seemed, between him and most others that were hunted was the fact that they failed to understand the premise of a low profile.

The wings displayed...a Raverse, and from his movements and reaction, he was Federation possibly Gray Order, but judging from the fact that that man was still alive he highly doubted it.

Though this was something that didn't involve him directly Yang stood and watched to see how the events would turn out, there were plenty of options for his escape should he need it but for now, he need only be sure that this man wasn't a person that would come of use to him. If he was not then letting him be captured wasn't something that would be of too much effect.

"...So what are you going to do with yours?"

"I'm sorry ma'mm, I need to get you out first." Ash said with a cough, grabbing both of their arms and forcing them around her waist. She then stood up on the window and jumped, spreading her wings to slow the fall. The three of them landed and Ash saw what looked like their children in the distance. The parents ran up to the children and Ash managed a smile. She then noticed the media. Her eyes grew wide open and she shoot up into the sky, using her arms to cover her face.
Once she felt she was a safe distance away she looked back, all she could see was the fire and smoke. She let out a sigh of relief and began to fly forward, hoping to not run into much more trouble. Ash let out a yawn as she flew. "That late already?" She muttered. Her eyes scanned the city landscape for a place to sleep. Her face lit up as she saw what looked like an abandoned building. She smiled as she leisurley flew down and rested on the roof. Ash found a nice corner by the stairwell. It seemed to have a ledge and was dark. She rested up against the wall and let out another yawn. She then lay down and using her wings as a blanket she tried to sleep.

"You must have some knowledge yourself, but I'd have to say your wrong,"he stood up straight,"I acted that way because of where we are, it's one of the heating sources of the 'Down' district, if that thing got any closer things would have gotten complicated." He looked up,"And don't worry about him, anything the Order doesn't have on me is locked away in my head, after all I did used to work for the Federation, but thats a story for another day, my name is Dune, but I'm better known for my other name, Dusk."

To protect our world...I will have to become the enemy of that very world.
