"You're welcome," she murmured in reply, still watching him carefully. "And he did seem nice, until he noticed Skiron." It had pretty much gone downhill from there - down a very steep angle. And then he left abruptly to fix a car. One eyebrow slowly arched at the vehemence with which he fixed it, and noted how white his knuckles were, if only for a brief period. Oh, yes, this really was affecting him.
When he returned, the way he spoke gave her the hint that he'd prefer the conversation to end sooner rather than later. "No," she said with a shake of her dark head, "but let me know when you'd like our Glaceon to spend time together again." She turned to leave, but hesitated. "And.. I think you should contact him," she said, then paused for a few moments before speaking again. "Have a good afternoon." That said, she fully turned to leave, her coat still over one arm. Arceus, she needed to.. to... Go think, or something. Or shower. Yes, a shower sounded nice. It'd warm her up and get whatever salt out that the sea wind had blown into her hair.

Frost watched the black-haired woman walk away in silence. Once the door closed behind her he carefully put away his tools, removed his overalls, and meticulously filled out the paperwork for taking out a car.
Once this was done and the pen was set back on the counter precisely straight he collected the keys, climbed into the car, and drove out of the base.
