With only a short hesitation owing to the fact she hadn't expected him to take her seriously, she nodded enthusiastically. It couldn't hurt to practice up a bit and it was an excuse to hang out with her new friend longer.
"Alright," she said, "But don't expect much."
Mtima did not remember much of her last life but she had no doubts she had never been very good at maintaining illusions.

"Oh, I have a feeling you can impress when you want to," Al-Hattal noted, tail flicking behind him. "I guess we might as well get started..."
The sooner they got started, the sooner the 'lesson' would be over, and they could get around to what he really had in mind.
