She sure talked strangely, this one. And besides, since when did Devyn have to worry about what other Pae'il thought of him? Being slandered was the least of his worries. He'd worry more about being slaughtered if the wrong Pae found out about his dark secret. He'd never really been accepted for his feeding habits in the past. Oh sure, there'd been one or two who had been tolerant of his strange quirks, but he'd known the truth. He scared people. He was different.
Still...he couldn't argue if the pretty Pae wanted to cling to his arm so closely, at least...for a little while. He'd just 'sated his thirst' not long before crossing paths with her, so he'd be safe for the evening without risk of losing control. He deserved a little kindness after so many months alone.
He quirked a brow at the sound, glancing over. "Sure, not a problem. What would you like to eat? I'm sure there's some fruit or something growing nearby, if we take a look." That was what other Pae ate, right? He seemed to have forgotten, sadly.

"Fruit sounds great!" She said, having missed eating fruit, it was a small treat she got as a child when she was younger as her parents and siblings were so set on being meat eaters that very rarely did she get fruit and when she did it was a real treat for her and she missed it when she grew up and moved out of home. "I haven't had some since I was a child" she said with a soft sigh, she could of had some before, when she grew, but as she traveled her hunter instincts came out in her more then her fruit picking ones so she was living off meat, her parents taught her too well in that regard "but if we just go left from the main path we can go back to my place first, I would rather change then wear this" she said, thinking that it was time now to put away the clothes of this Halloween night and finally dress in something a little more proper...at least proper for her.
