he heard someone coming and smirked standing up knocking his chair over. he hopped onto the table and came running over hopping down when he was close "who.. are you?" he said looking the girl over. it had been so long he really wasnt sure it was alice. she did look like her. "Alice?" he finally said looking at her eyes hoping he was right.

Alice nodded with a smile on her face. "Hello Hatter," she said politely with a curtsie before walking closer to him. Seeing him after so many years comforted her. The warm feeling inside her heart beamed when she saw him.

"I always said you would be back, they always said i was just mad... but who am i to argue!" he laughs his face seeming to light up at the sight of Alice. he lead her to his dusty looking table. it was clear no one had been there but him for a long time. he forces her to sit in one of the tall chairs and hands her a tea cup then he searches for a pot that was empty so he could make her some tea.

Alice giggled innocently as she watched the Hatter find a teacup. She wanted to ask where Dormouse and Rabbit were but she didnt want to offend him by asking.

he got a teapot and filled it waiting for it to seep he looks at her getting into his seat and putting his feet up "so how old are you now??" he said sipping his cold tea "and where have you been all this time? its been a rather boring party here.."

"I just turned 20 a few moments ago," she replied, "And I've been dealing with....love problems".

Alice nodded as she thanked him for the tea. "I came because I am not in love with any of my suitors. Theres somewhere I'd rather be...and someone i want to be with".

He nods "here is alot.. of people you can be with here.. many great people to love" he said with a smile and a sup of his tea. he nods and gets comfy "it is nice to speak with another.. it has been a while"

he smiles and keeps sipping his tea "i hope that the one you love, feels the same way that way tou will be happy with the match" he nods and gave a distant look and smile to her as he filled his tea cup back up.

He gave her a puzzled look not really understanding what she was talking about. Hatter had never really done anything in that feild. he had never kissed another or even gotten flirted with before.
