Bolweevil SilentPalpatine Bolweevil Justin Robison *watches Clerks, airing uncensored on Comedy Central in his time zone right now* Uncensored? What channel shows Clerks uncensored? Comedy Central in there Secret Stash. It at midnight. I didnt know comedy central could show any profanity. Even in clerks theres enough profanity to banish it to the pay channels. Secret Stash is a late-night block of programming time where they get away with showing stuff uncensored. Aside from now showing Clerks in it, they''ve showed J&SB Strike Back, other movies, stand-up specials, and HBO series. And not a bleep in sight. 3nodding

I have Clerks Uncensored on DVD, but I think that the network was right to end it when it did - it just didn't have the intelligence or artistry of Smith's own work - in places, the writers just seemed to be putting in the same sort of stuff that Smith did as though that in itself would get a laugh, rather than thinking about how Smith did it.

I remember watching this flick when it first came to video and I fell in love with it right away. The writing is excellent and the humour is spot on. i remember watching it wih my brother and his girlfriend at the time she was completly appauled by it all which only made the flick dearer to my heart. I think one of the best parts is where they are discussing the death star and independant contractors. There are so many funny parts though. And who could forget the classic line "My girlfriend sucked 37 dicks!" Very funny!

I think Kevin is one of the best director/writers. Clerks barely has a moment that you're not laughing. Although the cartoon wasn't as good. I just hope the sorta sequel will be just as good.

Clerks: The beginning of an Epic. This movie was not my first, but just cause it didn't take my Kevin Smith Virginity, doesn't mean I can't love it. It is my second favorite movie (right behind JASBSB). I got the 10th Anniversary edition for Christmas last year, and I have watched it as often as possible since! This movie has everything: Girls, stoners, hockey on the roof, Milkmaids, Independent contractors and why not to work for a mob boss. It makes the movie great. Wow, I love that movie and wanna watch it now ^.^ . The Flying Car is quite funny, well worth the price of the movie. Randal "Which did you like better, Jedi or the Empire Strikes back?" Dante "Empire had the better story, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen in Carbonite and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on a dark note, and thats what life is, A series of down ending. All Jedi had was a bunch of muppets."

Clerks was my first Kevin Smith movie. My roomate demanded that I see them all in order. Clerks is still my favorite, I liked the movie and the cartoons. The best part, I think, is when Randal is ordering the porn flicks and the mom and her daughter are standing right there wanting a kids movie. I won't quote it now, because I have to watch it again before I can remember how it goes. *runs to PS2 and puts clerks in*
I also love the black and white. Am I the only one?

The first Kevin Smith movie I ever watched was actually Dogma... But... It was Clerks that stole my heart. Simple plot - Clerks working at a convienence store, but it was anything but simple. Great dialogue, great characters, and I especially loved Randal. I've been known to drive friends that haven't watched Clerks nuts and corrupt talk them into renting it. I want to make a shirt that simply says:
RANDAL OWNZ DANTE
...that's an inside joke with one of my friends XD

Bolweevil Sarkany i think its funny how much Kevin smith brings the poor girl (cant remember her name) who "found" the old man in the bathroom stall up in other movies He does that with several chars in the trillogy. In clerks, if you recall, they both go to a funeral. That funeral is for the girl who they mention in mallrats who dies doing laps in the pool, causing Brandi to fill in on the game show. Thats just 1 example that i can think of now. Next time you watch the movies pay attention to the names they mention in their stories, and see how all 3 movies in the trilogy seem connected by the people the chars know. You also have too rember that Dante and Randal had medium parts in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, A Star Wars wedding.

I'm having a total dante day today...my boss called me an our ago. groggily "hello..." "Nick?" "Yeah?" "Can you come in and open today." "But I closed last night, and i'm not scheduled today" "It'll only be for a little while. I'll make it worth it for ya." "....I guess.." "okay bye." "Bye." I get up and ready and it's almost tome for work.
Anyway, I know that was random but it's one of my favorite parts in clerks cause i go through that same routine every day.
"You swear? 12 or I walk!"
