Tor ducked out of the Master Bedroom for a moment, dashing through the empty halls of their home until he arrived at the alcove down on the first floor. The permanent Teleportation Circle that was linked to the very fabric of the universe. Now, he had hoped it would work well enough to move them as they were as naught but souls, but thats mostly up to hypotheses and theories that haven't been tested, or hell, some haven't even been thought up yet. He kneeled down and traced the outlines of the Circle with his fingers, producing small sparks of energy. "Hell...only one way to check." A ripple of blue energy passed through the house, displacing Torment to another location, then pulling him back. He would continue these brief tests until he made a final test, planar travel to an Outer Plane, whereby he would return smoking slightly with an odd expression on his face, twitching slightly.

*Jumping down the stairs several at a time, her steps echoed throughout the house. The thick bottoms of her black boots tripping across the first floor as Kalie stumbled at the last jump, she wouldn't fall on her a**... but she did fumble and end up half running into the adjoining hall. Skidding to a halt, Kalie glanced around as her hand ran back through the mess of black and navy waves now falling across her eyes in a nightmarish waterfall, while the other smoothed out her dark tank and loose fitted gray camo pants. The aroma of something organic becoming charred catching her senses once she took hold of her surroundings.* "Hun..?"

Tor wandered around a corner, the tips of his hair still smoking slightly, but he didn't seem harmed in the least, in fact, he was almost giggling. In fact, he was giggling, but it sure didn't seem healthy. When he spotted Kalie he did a double take. He blinked for a moment as he looked her over, "New clothes new clothes new clothes!" He then fell backwards and into a roll, whereby he popped up. He stood there rubbing his head for a moment, "OK...that was wierd. Fun, but wierd. Interesting new look by the way."

*Spotting the giggling lunatic as he emerged from around the corner, Kalie initially froze in place... not 'melting' till he fell and bumped his head at which point she visibly cringed.*

*Reaching out to Tor, she tenderly lifted a hand to the smoldering tips of his hair, just dusting them, while arching a brow...* "Baby... are you feeling okay..?"

He nodded slightly as he pulled her close, no signs left that he had been smoking just moment before, "Yeah, just had an...interesting experience." He seemed content to simply hold her near him, even though he knew it couldn't last, not like this. He pulled back with a brief smile, his demeanor changing to a more energetic track, "So! Ready to go? We haven't much time, and well, time doesn't mean much here, but its still kinda crawling along. Got a few fun things planned."

"Oh?" *Smiling up at him, Kalie playfully poked Tor somewhere between his stomach and his side, not hard mind you.. just enough to get a small reaction if any.*

"And where are we going that we don't have very much time?" *Meant as a surprise or not, Kalie would have been happy regardless. Of all the places Torment could ever take her, they would be just backdrops of eternal beauty, for her favorite place would always be within his arms.*

(( crying I forget to C&P and it ******** logged me out and now I'm pissed...))

Tor smiled mishcieviously, though he did not seem to feel the poke at all, "You'll see when we get there." He led her over to the Teleportation Cirlce and glanced at them, snapping his fingers. Up in his closet the small package disappeared and the center of the Circle pulsed once. Tor nodded slightly, "Good! Still works." He led her forward into the Circle, a column of light rising around them that quickly was replaced by utter darkness all around. A brief pain and the crisp, clear sound of wings unfurling with something tearing were followed by an encroaching cold that seemed to rapidly descend upon them. The cold was burned away as Torment's arms wrapped around Kalie from behind, holding her close. The touch did not produce any blue flash, which was odd as it had been doing so recently. The darkness was slowly drawn back around their torsos, but nothing else as Torment's wings pulled around them in a small cage of feathers and flame. Torment's shirt was now bloddied and the very tips of his wings cripped blood that burst into white flame when they hit the ground, which was limited to a grey flash in the darkness. The most unique thing about the wings is that unlike before they were completely solid and looked as bird wings, not just contructs of flame, that just happened to be wreathed in flame, and his eyes, his eyes were two purple pools of light and energy. He kissed her hair once as he inhaled the scent, "By god Kalie...the pain. Its incredible, unlike anything I've ever felt, so extreme, but I can feel it! Everything. I couldn't feel most anything before, but now everything is so intense." Indeed everything was, just the same as before the intensity had returned, but Torment shared it this time, "God Kalie, more important than all else though, I can feel your touch, thats all that matters. We can't stay for long, not much than a minute more, but I want to do one thing before we're forced to leave." Without another word he leaned in to kiss her while he could still feel her soft lips pressed against his. By the time it ended they'd be gone, and of course, Tor'd be a steaming/smoking, gibbering idiot for a few moments.

*As her hair whipped around her, Kalie opened her eyes to no more then slits, not that it did any good. Not even the flames of Torment's wings provided enough light to pierce the suffocating darkness around them. Though little was know to her on their current location, he was right.. she felt oddly alive inside, as if a part of her that had once been a void had been filled. Life itself was alive with details of the senses. Searching Tor's face, his eyes gleamed back at her.. her own becoming lost in the endless pools as Tor spoke. Nothing but the kiss to bring her back, and a beautiful kiss it would be. Enflamed with the passion and love for him that burned with her heart and soul Kalie retuned the tender gesture holding out till they would appear back within their house. The feeling of being close to one another having faded slightly, as if someone had only clouded her vision. Breaking the intimate embrace Kalie laughed lightly at his rambling state, her hand gently cupping his cheek to guide him back to her in a far shorter kiss.* "Thank you."

Torment's less than composed state was much shorter than before, drawn into reality by the second kiss, sparking a brilliant robin's egg blue for just a shred of a second. When the kiss ended he backed away, shaking his head and almost crying as he leaned against a wall, sliding down leaving a train of blood. He hung his head, "I can't feel it....I hate this....god dammit I hate this. I HATE IT!" He slammed his fist into the wall, breaking through it and sending a wave through what they saw as their house. He craddled his hand in the other, "Ok...felt that."

*Furrowing her brows, Kalie's eyes filled with sadness watching him. If he hadn't felt her kiss, what else had he not felt? Dropping down beside him, Kalie carefully moved but then stopped, her hands only hovering over Tor's. She wanted to take a hold of him and kiss it better but at the same time she feared he wouldn't be able to feel it which might make things worse. Dropping her eyes, she lifted them once more, her hands now resting in her lap.*

"Is there anything that I can do to make it.. better?"

He shook his head, "No...my senses are so dulled like this its not even funny. There are some things I can feel, some of the things from earlier I did feel, but not much else. It was enough to feel that one kiss. Damn what a kiss. That place...going back would be disasterous, especially now, but just a taste...god how long I've waited to find it. All of it dwarfed my just those few seconds....so long without the full feel of your touch, and to feel something so extraordinary." He let out a sigh as he looked up at her to gently caress her cheek with the back of two of his fingers. He looked down again as he shook his head, "Damn you're so beautiful. You know what, I had all these plans for today, all so traditional and s**t, but screw it all. Since when have I been known to do things the normal way. Hell, take all this as an example. Kalie, when you wake up I want you to go to my body and hold my left hand. Can you do that? I can promise you we can continue this, but I need you to do this one thing for me." Without giving her time to object she would be able to feel him slip away as their world began to disolve around them, Torment slowly moving further and further away until he was suspended in a field of black with his two large wings gently flapping behind him, flames slowly engulfing him as he blew her a kiss and faded into the darkness.

"More than you'll ever know, I need you. Just your presence alone could never do you justice Torment, you're worth so much more. "*Falling to her knees, her forehead fell to Torment's in defeat. Feeling utterly helpless when it came to his unusual situation, Kalie hated that she couldn't make it better. His words became lost, only registering with some far off point. His touch becoming so much more to her. Leaning into the caress, Kalie would nuzzle up against his hand.. hoping she would never have to imagine what a world without being able to feel something so simple yet so perfect might be like. Nodding, Kalie would keep her eyes locked to Torment's as she fell away from the world they had spent what seemed like at least a day in.*

---- From The Razor Fields ----

*Spanning outward, like a cardinal rose, from the less than crowed square were several narrow streets. Their graying stones ranging in colors the more one progressed. Where drain spouts ended and stones masters pieces of sculptural design relinquished their water from over head, the streets of the city took on a forest green, the cracks bursting with a lively moss. Near the building's edge the gray was darker, the cracks lined with dust that had collected through the ages, unlike the center where the stones shone brightly up at the horizon. But not nearly as pristine as the curved arches and flowery molding of the buildings lining the old city. Even with the sorrows, smiles, and treachery the walls had collected over the years the city still thrived as was evidence of the many patrons below. Ranging from all ages, were the young and old, some traveling quickly.. others lounging on the stairs with a book, while some yet were busy swapping the latest gossip. All in their place, but one, within the blink of an eye a new life appeared. Her blue eyes gazing around in wonder at the location.. still not all to sure on where she was. Yet Kalie was there, standing in a remote corner of the square, but not to secluded as she could still see the crystal water spilling from the center most fountain.*

*As if he'd never existed, the Darz that had helped Kargin and Kalie destroy the many creations of Torment disappears. In his place appear Darz and Tarma. Smiling at each other, they quickly disperse into the crowd and scenery (as per Torment on AIM...). They giggle along with each other about the joyous ocassion. Darz rests his left hand on Tarma's swollen belly, smiling as he hugs her with his right arm.*

You think it strange he wants us to "hide" for his wedding?

Vince was standing on one of the buildings, watching quietly. He had followed, for some reason gnawing at the back of his heda, forcing him to eves drop. He perched himself on a building top, unseeable to anyone trying to see him, except for one person, and he wasn't about to call out to him. His wing extended, and spread out, looking almost like a gargoyle, if someone could have seen him.
