Caitan stood with that liquid grace, putting his body between himself and his brother, his eyes lowered a respectful tone in his voice, " Lairanion, I did not mean to make you wait, my apology."

The shadows of the trees and scrubs seemed to form into another leopard, this one stepped forward with the boneless grace of a full adult, his green eyes with no more life in them then a carrion bird's, but behind them, a fierce intelligence passed for a moment, no more. If Caitan's voice was twilight's shadow, this leopard's had been born of midnight, its silky timber sliding over the two brothers like a claw to the back of one's neck.

" No need Caitan, there is always time to say goodbye to the life you leave behind you. The hour grows late however, and your goodbyes are done. I shall wait for you a moment more. It was a pleasure Poi." He inclined his head and turned, though the last sentence could make the other feel as if the black leopard would always know where Caitan's brother was, and would always know how and were to find him.

Caitain looked back at Poi, and gave him one last lick, rubbing his cheek against his, " Everything good in me you gave me Poi. I love you brother." With that, his own pale form followed his teacher, ghosting into the shadows, not half as easily as his mentor, but still far to well for a leopard his age.
