User ImageShina heard the rumble of the reporters before she had even reached the front door. Emerging into the light, she was blinded by the glare of the sun off numerous cameras. Microphones were shoved in her face, and people were shouting. Automatically, Shina's head snapped up and her shoulders squared. "Excuse me, this is most impolite," she snapped primly. "I do not appreciate being pushed and shoved, or the amateurish behavior you are displaying. Most of you are blocking your own cameramen and women from their shots. Now back up please, and calm down."

The reporters ignored Shina's instructions, shouting over each other, pushing and shoving. Eyebrows knitting slightly in disapproval, Shina put her fingers to her mouth and blasted a piercing whistle. The questions immediately became cut off curses, before the mob fell silent and stared at her. "I apologize to those watching at home for that loud noise," Shina stated calmly. "Now, if you would please remain quiet long enough for me to make a statement, I will. I will not be taking any questions, and I will not be making my statement until everyone backs up a step."

Shina looked firmly at the crowd. They shuffled back minutely. Deciding to take what she could get Shina collected her thoughts. "The Jirachi fossil contained in the museum was actually still viable, and the Pokemon contained within woke. A number of trainers apparently attacked the Jirachi, who defended itself. Jirachi was distressed and confused, and cast an area effect over the museum. Several other fossils were revived in this effect. The events that followed for the humans caught within the effect were fantastical, but eventually someone managed to calm Jirachi and convince it to release it's hold on the area. As far as we can tell, the abnormal event is now over. We are all tired, and many of us need to see to our Pokemon. Most of us would just like to get away from here. For trainers interested, I am offering the opportunity to join a caravan headed north. We will be leaving soon, further details will be available at the Katarina Pokemon center. Reporters are not welcome on this trip, and we appreciate your understanding in respecting these wishes. Now, I am afraid I am one of the trainers who needs to seek medical attention for her Pokemon. Please excuse me."

Shouting and jostling immediately resumed, but Shina ignored them. She had given her sound bite, now it was time to get out of here. Head up and shoulders back, Shina made her way through the crowd until she reached the sanctuary of the Pokemon center. Glancing at the notice board, she saw her earlier flier was still there. Good. She had really just been looking for a few people to keep her company on the trip north, but she had a feeling the caravan had just gotten a lot larger. Oh well. As long as no reporters tagged along, that was fine with her.

"Finally," Tygress sighed with relief as everything was returned to normal. She didn't quite catch who had gone through the door, but she wished them and jirachi the best.

"Lux!" Peanut growled pushing her trainer toward the door.
"Vee!" Eden said agree with the idea and dancing ahead a few steps.

"Ok, ok I see you two want out of here." Tygress couldn't blame the pokemon for wanting to be outside. There was no way to know just what the pokemon had gone through before the trainers had found them. Hopefully they'd just been asleep and worried from being parted from their human friends.

The trio emerged blinking to adjust to the light and were soon overtaken by reporters. Tyg kept walking, not sure what at all to say to the media about everything that had happened. It all had been so surreal and it would take time to fully wrap her head around all of it.
Suddenly her hand went to her pocket as she remembered, "Precious!" with so much that had happened turning out to be tricks she teared up a bit when her hand acctually contacted the pokeball.

"Precious?" one of the reporters asked curiously edging closer. She jumped back right quick when the joltic came out of the pokeball. "Is that a joltik?" the reporter asked her voice a little shakey.
"Yes, her name is Precious because when we found her she was the only point of light in a dark room." Tygress replied almost absently as she picked up the small pokemon.
"A dark room? Would you care to elaborate? What happened in there?"
"Jirachi woke up and wasn't happy with things. Otherwise no I wouldn't care to elaborate on what happened in there," Tygress said realizing she was acctually speaking to the media. She shivered. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a trio of pokemon to take care of and considering two of them are electric it'd be best for your equipment we got away from here before they get any more aggitated.
Peanut growled warningly and the media scattered allowing the group to leave. Tyg sighed again and kept walking not caring where they were going so long as it was away from the craziness.

Cara was relieved when the mansion faded from around her and Dante. "I guess one of 'em did it." She said with a grin. Dante nodded. She had looked around and saw that everything was just as they had left it. Katarina looked normal. Cara smiled as she stood up and stretched. Finally...that craziness was over. Suddenly, she felt a slight heaviness in her pocket and when she fished out one of her pokeballs, she realized it was occupied. "What the...? But...I didnt catch any pokemon in the mansion...heck the only wild pokemon we saw was that tentacool." Cara didn't have much time to think about it before they were overcome by an onslaught of reporters. "HOLY FUDGE!!" She cried. Cara was not one for the lime light, she thought reporters were the lecherous spawn of the devil.

The reporters were asking questions like "Where did you go?!", "What happened in the fog?", "Did Jirachi cause all of the disappearances and the fog?", "Where did Jirachi go?", "How did you all get here?", "Are you the bride of Jirachi?!", "Did you sleep with Jirachi?!". The last one made Cara slug the guy who said it, "Seriously!? Who asks that kind of crap?!" She yelled. Cara may have been a police officer but still. Her left eye began to twitch, which meant that she was getting seriously ticked off. Dante noticed this and took it as his signal to do what he needed to...which meant use thunderbolt. "Peerrrrrsian!!" Luckily, that did the trick and knocked out about half of the reporters there, mainly the ones that had swarmed around Cara and Dante. Dante then nudged Cara, who smiled and patted the cat's head. "You're awesome buddy. What do you say we go pick up Rio and see who our new buddy is?" Dante nodded and they ran off.

Cara was soon reunited with Rio, her beloved Lucario, at the pokemon center. Before Cara gave Dante over to Nurse Joy, she decided that she wanted to see who her new friend was. "Ok guys, lets see who our new companion is." She took out the pokeball and, just in case, released it over a water tank. In the water, appeared the tentacool she and Dante battled earlier. "What the?! No way!" Cara said, totally stunned. She ran over to the fountain where rather shy tentacool was floating, smiling. She held no more ill will towards the watery pokemon, she knew it was only scared and startled. "Hey there..." she said gently. "How'd you get into my pokeball little guy?" Rio walked over to the fountain and put his front paws on the edge, quite curious about the tentacool. Dante just stared in horror..and anger. "Perrrsiaaaan" He growled lowly. Cara looked back at him. "Dante, be nice. I know he...or she, totally wailed on you earlier but he was probably totally scared and startled that three humans and big pokemon were suddenly in its space and it did the only thing it could do. It wanted us to leave." She then turned back to the tentacool and offered it her hand. "Is that right?" The tentacool looked up at her with its big pink eyes and sort of nodded then gave Cara its tentacle. Dante growled a bit then came forward and sat next to Cara. Cara saw the battle damage on the tentacool and also realized that as it swam closer, it was a girl. "Hmm...so I take it after that battle of ours, you wanted to join us right?" Cara asked and the tentacool nodded. Cara smiled. "Ok then, well my name is Cara. This is Dante, you've already met him," She said, motioning to the unhappy Persian by her feet. "And this is Rio, he was here in the Pokemon center during our time in the mansion. Would you like a nickname as well tentacool?" The tentacool splashed her tentacles around a bit in happiness as a sign of yes. "Alright then, how about we get you all healed up from our battle and while that happens, I'll think up the perfect nickname for you, sound good?" Tentacool nodded. Cara smiled and stood up. "Cool. Welcome to the family Tentacool. Return." She said, holding the pokeball that was now home to her tentacled friend. "This has been one seriously strange adventure." Dante nodded and walked with Cara to Nurse Joy and was happy to go with her to be healed.

Cara went to sit in the waiting area with many of the other people who had been in the mansion with her. "You missed one heck of an adventure Rio." The lucario climbed up on the couch next to her and put his head in her lap. "Rio, lucario." Cara smiled and laughed softly. "Yeah, Im sure there will be plenty more, especially with that tentacool around now." Cara looked down and saw an advertisement for somewhere far off. Huh...maybe that could be their next adventure...all three of them.

User Image Noah watched, mesmerized, as everything faded back to normal. Someone had managed to convince Jirachi to change everything back to the way it had been. Relief flooded his chest. With a wide grin, he crouched down and picked up Reno. "Come on, Ren." He said, starting to carry the vulpix out of the museum.

He wasn't anticipating the sudden flash of paparazzi, and the questions came soon after the photograph flashes. What happened in there? What was it like? Who was the culprit?

Noah steeled his shoulders in a way that, he knew, would make his mother proud to see the picture, and walked past the reporters, carrying Reno and walking away from the museum. It'd gained enough excitement, thank you, and he really had better places to be.

User ImageIt felt as if the ground were falling away beneath them, and yet neither Cygnus nor the two Pokemon went tumbling through thin air. Air whooshed past his ears; the three of them, without moving from their respective positions, seemed to be traveling through the air at an impossible speed. When they came to a stop, they didn't so much land as simply suddenly be on the ground. The shock was still enough that Cygnus fell backwards, but he was cushioned by soft grass. Ariel had managed to stay upright, and he was pressed to his human's side, back slightly arched.

"It's all right," Cygnus said to the Espeon, smiling as he climbed to his feet. The blind man knew this ground well. "It's all right, we're–"

Home, the Jirachi chimed in, the bell-like voice echoing in Cygnus's mind rather than his ears. The legendary Pokemon was hovering in the air beside him, and she – he was somehow sure that the Jirachi was female, now – was emanating warmth and comfort and happiness, no longer the exhaustion of before.

She had been doing more than finishing his sentence, Cygnus realized."Do you... Are you saying you'd like to live here, with us?" He would never have presumed to keep her to himself.

Home, she sang out again.

"A-are you sure?" Cygnus asked again. "You could go anywhere you like, be with any people, any Pokemon. Do you really want us?"

Home? A little sad this time, worried.

She must feel he was trying to push her away, the man thought, and gave himself a mental kick. "Of course," he said. "If this is what you want... You are more than welcome." As he had so wished to do before, Cygnus took the little Jirachi in his arms and cradled her like a child. He crouched to allow Ariel to join in, and the Espeon enthusiastically nuzzled the other Pokemon's cheek.

Home! If it had been a sound, the word would have been like the peal of a dozen church bells.

User ImageKeria stared at the door for a moment; braille unfortunate was not something she knew. or perhaps it was and she had simply forgotten. It looked like someone had made it inside already it would be best to let them talk to Jirach to many people and it might attack out of fear.

She reached her hand up to her hat where Tatters had decided to lay down. Picking him up with one hand she petted him with the other. “I hope everything goes well for the person in there.” “Tatta!” she smiled as Tatters spoke she couldn’t understand what he was saying but he was probably trying to comfort her. “Thanks Tatters” She gasped slightly smiling as the walls turned white. They were back in the museum, it was over they could finally go home. Looked through the door curiously but Jirachi and the person who had went in weren’t there anymore shrugging she left.

She put Tatters on her shoulder as she ran down the stairs hearing a commotion she paused before going outside the museum. “That’s a lot of reporters.” Tatters nodded in agreement. Keria tried to ignore them and push her way through “please just let me thought! I need to get to the Pokémon center!” the Emogla she caught earlier was probably still unconscious after the beating it took.

Tatters was not happy they had finally gotten out of the horrid place he had been trapped in and now people were swarming them? Heck he couldn’t even skitter off on his own they’d trampled him in a second. He’d just have to deal with them then. “TAAA TA!” the reporter where stunned for a bit after the thunder attack and his partner seemed a bit shocked. “Tata! “ Keria had been startled when tatters had used thunder she didn’t know he could use it.

She quickly pushed through the crowed of reporter getting half way through before running into people the attack hadn’t hit. “Raaaataaa!” If Keria was surprised by the thunder she was even more so when he decided to opt for an ice beam this time. She continued to push her way through the crowed sighing happily when they finally reached the Pokémon center. “I didn’t know you could use ice beam and thunder” she smiled happily at the small Pokémon.

Tatters snuggled up agents Keria for a moment before climbing down and facing her “Tata tat …….Ata.” Keria looked at him for a moment “you’re leaving huh?” Tatter nodded and put a paw up in an almost wave like gesture. She smiled softly before waving back and watching the small Pokémon run off into the distance. She turned around and walked into the Pokémon center, tears falling down her face as she got her emolga healed.
