BUt i love lionel! he has smexy hair. I don't think i would get any of the Luthors.... I was so bummed they shot off Sheriff Nancy I cried when she got shot and died! crying

I didnt watch that episode but by the sounds of it either lex, lionel or jonathon had to die...i would have rather it be lionel coz lex ends up being clarks arch enemy in superman so killing him off would be piontless

Actually Lex becomes his arch enemy and the candidates to die were really Jonathon and Lana.

If you were to pay attention to the show then you would have heard Jor-el tell clark that the live of sme one VERY close to clark was going to be taken in exchange for Clarks. and also if you had been watching the show then you would know that Lex and Lionel are not very close to Clark...at all any more

Its not so much the daily Planet connection that it is the Metropolis connection. Since Clark is out of high school there is no point really for him to stay in smallville. it is opening up his Hero range farther then the city limits of Smallville. Being in Metropolis makes Clark more connected to his future life.If they got rid of Chloe so easily then it would have been totally pointless to have her character learn about Clarks secret. If they got rid of Chloe then Martha would be going insane because most likely Jonathon would have died not to long after. plus Clark would have no one to talk about his secret with anyone but his parents.

SaberFireTiger I think Martha should have gone, she doesn't do much anyways. but jonathan doesn't do much either.

Sheriff Nancy has been shariff since season 2 when Sheriff Ethan got arrested for attempted murder on Lionel. Sheriff Nancy was recently shot in Lockdown her last words were "well isn't that a mother"

truetothedream91 Ok i really really didnt want Jonathan to die when he did. If anyone should hav died i think they should hav gotten rid of lional and just be done wit him. Or even lex. What do u think? I'm kinda disapointed that they did kill Jonathan. I probubly would of wanted them to kill Chloe. They couldn't kill Lex because well he's lex and they can't kill lianal just yet becuase Jur-El is useing him as an ancher to our world...

I mean Chloe was made up by the writers of Smallville as a proto lois and also to make the love triangle for Clark... I think you are talking about Lana since she and Pete are from the comics...

No i meant that killing Jonathon was part of the comics and that if you read the comics it would make perfect sense that Jon died. Sorry that i did not specify
