Muris has been taking wonderful care of Aquae. I try to stop in as often as I can, but it really does not seem necessary. The two of them are so close...I shudder to think that it might be severed when the little one grows. I can see already where that might happen-- Aquae is more of a scholar, the indoors sort. She prefers learning over all else. Muris, while enjoying a good read, prefers to be out of doors as much as possible.
Still, I suspect there will continue to be a link between them. I found them this evening curled up in a chair together quite asleep. It was positively adorable and I was quiet enough to not disturb them from it.
