-Blaire Page-
Is anybody ever ready for another baby? Blaire slightly contemplated this thought, but more importantly was she? She honestly had no clue... What she did know was that it didn't sound bad. The idea was much more appealing now that Reed was functioning at a reasonable level. Granted that shift of thought could be blamed on the hormones. Blaire held onto Reed's hand, staying close to her husband's body. "...I don't know..." she finally answered him, contemplating the thought of having another kid again. She stirred slightly at that small joke. "No she won't... not at all" frowned Blaire, remembering how the girl had reacted to her previous pregnancy. That wasn't good at all... But Reed would deal with that, definitely and Reed-...hadn't answered the question, which with slightly careful eyes she asked again. "Wait. Reed. You haven't answered me... Are you ready? Do... Do you want another baby?"

Ah... Really Blaire knew him to well. It was impossible to avoid a question even for a second with her. But... This really wasn't a question to avoid. She was obviously reaching out for an answer. And Reed had to take this seriously. It was one of those life changing decisions after all. Though, in his mind he had already made the decision. From the second he started thinking clearly again he knew. "What are you talking about?" He asked her and gripped her shoulders with her hands, "We're having a baby, I said that already." From the second he processed the thought, he knew he felt excited. Yeah, Erika would not be happy, and Brooke won't get the attention of being the families baby any longer. Yet, the idea of having another little boy or girl to love with all his heart. "There's no other answer, right?" He said with a smile, giving her a kiss, and holding her tight in his arms. "We're having a baby," A third one. Really, two is enough. And if you counted all the other intruders in the house, it might seem like a crazy idea to even consider a kid. But... Reed liked the idea of adding one more member to an already loud and active family.

Considering she was fretting over that very same question, it was foolish to think she wouldn't press for it again. Now she had to admit, Reed's first action caught her off guard, confusing her slightly for a second. When did he say it? During which of the panics? His or hers? Well whenever he did, what he said next was pretty much the obvious. Ready or not right now, they were having a baby. It took her mind a moment to agree, the excitement surely beginning to join in. She returned the smile, and the kiss, before letting out a half-laugh. "We're having a baby." Now that you said it, it really was hard not to repeat it, just to make sure they were really in it. Besides the fact that they really were crazy for considering it. "You are aware... it's... going to be crazy here, aren't you?" said Blaire with a small smile. Surely it would but... there was always room for one more in that craziness.

Crazy huh? They certainly were crazy to consider adding to this hurricane of a family. But, somewhere in Reed's heart, he knew there was always room for one more. Hell, he was addicted the constant activity of the house that he had become used to. "What's one more?" It's not like a third child could cause Erika and Brooke to get worse than they are now. Hell, maybe the kid would distract them from the constant civil war they create. Plus, having a new baby would make things lively again. Empty nest syndrome should only affect someone when they're kids move out. Yet, the man was already starting to feel lonely with Brooke no longer needing constant supervision. A baby wouldn't just fill his heart, but his time as well. Reed fell back into his chair and leaned back. Trying to get thinking about how much work the two of them were going to have to do to prepare for their new bundle of joy. It was definitely going to be a trial. They'll need more money, more room, and definitely more time. Though, the first and last one contradicted each other. "Guess I'll have to start working even harder..." He looked over to the edits he was just working on and sighed. If only he was a genius writer... Doing the hard way was too much work.

All husbands should take news like this~ Actually no, the first moments weren't that great. But now they really had to think about all they had to do to get ready for the new family member. Not to mention talking with the girls, hopefully Reed would help with that. She idly wondered how they would take it. It was a surprise to her after all, she wasn't expecting another kid, but she couldn't say it didn't appeal to her. The woman followed Reed's gaze to his papers and nodded slowly. "We'll both have to... definitely" added Blaire, leaning at the desk behind her, one hand resting at her stomach, the other on top of it. She certainly would as long as she could, which should be most of the pregnancy. "...We have a lot to do" said the woman with a slight nervous chuckle. They got through the first two kids, so they should technically be fine.

A lot to do... What an unpleasant phrase. Why couldn't raising a kid be all smiles and playing? Instead it was just constant working and working. Cleaning and working. Cooking and working. Breaking up fights between children and working. And working. Reed sighed as he flipped through the pages of the piece he was editing and turned himself to continue his work. It's not like he wasn't already used to it. He cleaned and cooked and watched the kids regardless of how many their were. One more wouldn't make much of a difference. The benefits outweighed the disadvantages of having one. "Well I guess it's time to start getting to work then," He said to his wife as he went back to his work. He was going to have to call his editor for as many extra jobs as possible. Well, the idea of having a new baby girl, or course he would love another girl to add to the happy family, lightened him up as a parade of exhausting thoughts attacked his mind. Having a kid sounded nicer than watching Erika and Brooke grow up and be done with parenting, even if it meant a little extra work. -End Day-

-New Day- Stocking Day. Always a holiday that put people in good spirit. And the Page's spent it as a family, like every year. And as annual tradition dictated, they hosted a dinner for them and their extended family for the occasion. True, a lot of work went into it for Reed and Blaire. However, the time spent with the entire family made it worth it... Most of the time. Having them all over at once was a bit... Strenuous. Yet, it was fun all the same. And hopefully this year would be as fun as any other. No one wished for a bad holiday after all. So the Page household was busy at work, decorating, cooking, cleaning, wrapping, organizing, and getting ready for the festivities to come. Each one of them now finishing any odd jobs and getting the more last minute things out of the way. And just in time, since one guest had already made his arrival and was ready to get the dinner started. He ignored any stress he saw the family in and lazed around the just cleaned areas. Making one frantic house dad a bit upset. Reed had been cleaning and cooking since the time he woke up at six in the morning. Donning his apron, the man spent the whole day running from room to room and back to the kitchen over and over again. Each room had to be spotless. They were vacuumed, dusted, tidied, organized and all windows washed, all by the father's hands and all done perfectly. And while he went on his cleaning escapades, he frequently ran back to the kitchen to check on the dinner he was preparing for the night. Luckily, his wife had been helping out as well. Of course, he made sure to take care of the cleaning, while she did any decorating, as well as helping in the kitchen. Really, if it wasn't for her, Reed might have been burned out before the guests even arrived. Though things would go smother if one guest wasn't getting in the way. Though, the man had no time to worry about that and ran off to get himself ready for the night. He took a quick shower and got himself ready, dressing himself in a pair of jeans, and a cheesy knitted sweater for the night. Sure, the ladies of the house hated it, but he loved to get in the holiday spirit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erika had spent the day watching her father and mother buzz around the house. Really, that was it. Just watching. Her father never trusted her to clean for herself, and definitely wouldn't let her in the kitchen. So she stood and hopped around, following her dad as he moved from room to room. That was until two hours before the designated time, where she hopped in the shower and began, what her father called, the trial of hell. The girl stood herself in front of her mirror, with piles and piles of clothes next to her, after her father had just cleaned, and began to mix and match them to create the perfect outfit. She always did this whenever going out, making her dad judge every choice she made until she was satisfied. Reed certainly saw it as a trial sent to him from the devil himself. Only this time, Erika wasn't allowed to use him as the judge, though she had another on to call on. She sat her little sister on the bed next to her mirror and showed her each and every outfit she thought up. Throwing Brooke down each time she tried to escape, the blonde made sure that her outfit was perfect. And finally, might have decided on one after an hour and a half of deciding. She twirled in front of the mirror and nodded. She turned to her sister and revealed the outfit in it's entirety. And matching her dress, her hair was tied in a side ponytail with a big red bow. "How do you like it?" She asked the captive Brooke with a large smile. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back in the living room was the oh so troublesome guest who was giving Reed plenty of issues. June was invited over, like every year, and decided to show up a bit early. Not to help or anything, just to get out of the apartment a bit quicker. The blonde man seated himself in the family room's couch as he watched Reed and Blaire scurry around the house. Now why was this an issue? Well, the house, which was so thoroughly cleaned by the father of the family, was already being dirtied as the blonde ate snacks and moved stuff around. He never had any sense of decency, and often undermined the host's attempts to keep a tidy house. He was a guest, why should he bother? So in true June fashion, he got up and began to follow Reed around the house as he made last minute alterations. "Hey, you almost done?" "Come keep me company," "Entertain me," and "Will you just come talk to me," were pleaded by the guest as he followed the older man around. All were answered with quick 'no's. This made June a bit upset (not really), but he was getting bored. He looked over to the woman of the house, frowning a bit, Blaire was fun, but not what he needed right now. He sighed and tilted his head up. "Erika, Brooke, come entertain me!" He called through the house as he fell back onto the family room's couch. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alastair and his family were once again invited over the Page's home this year for the holidays. He didn't know about the rest of his family, but the man looked forward to the visit. True he spent a lot of his time over there anyway, however it was nice to be over for a special occasion. The circumstances were different, and because of that, so was the atmosphere. The man finished getting himself ready and rounded up the wife and kids to head over next door. An easy enough walk that only took a couple seconds. He walked with Kotone on his arm and the kids next to them and made there way to the front door of the household. Alt would usually just walk in, but he knew very well how Reed got during this time of year, so he made sure to knock. Which he did, and began to wait to be let in. Skyla clung to Peter's hand as they waited. It was rare that she walked on the snow covered ground, but since it was a short walk, her father said there was no point in picking her up. And of course, her mother wouldn't do it unless forced. So, the little blonde stayed close to her brother until they were let in. Hopefully it wouldn't be to long since they could all here a "Honey can you get that?" from Reed inside the house.

Why were they there? Why was she there? They spent so much time with the Page's anyway. Why did they have to make it even worse? Kotone would have been a lot more content staying at home, celebrating with just the four of them. Not that she hated Reed or Blaire or Erika or whatever the fourth one was called. She just spent too much time with them as it was. But she was thirty now. She didn't get to throw a fit and stamp her foot. All she could do was make some passive aggressive comments, frown a lot, and ultimately follow her husband and children to the neighbor's house. "Are you sure about this?" she asked her husband with a sigh full of dread.
Peter was perfectly content holding Skyla's hand and ignoring his mother's whining, and he fully intended on doing that for the remainder of the evening. Well, the latter. He couldn't hold Skyla's hand forever! But he was interrupted by a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see a tall blonde woman towering over him and giving him an uncomfortable smile.
"Hey, kids," Shinju greeted the Harris's, ruffling Peter's hair with one hand and patting Skyla on the head with the other. It felt weird to her, to be acting so friendly when she didn't see them as often as she liked. Peter spoke to her, but Skyla was younger, shyer. It was uncomfortable. Even more so that both her sister and her nephew looked absolutely floored to see her.
"...Aunt Shinju, what are you doing here?" Peter, asked, blinking up at her. He glanced at his mother, who had the same expression. The resemblance was obvious now.
"What? Kotone invited me." Now it was Shinju's turn to be surprised. "Remember? A few weeks ago? I called, and you said you were going to this dinner for Stocking Day, you said I should come along..." She had been feeling lonely when she made that call, and she quickly accepted any invitation to spend time with her family, even if it wasn't really her family. But it was better than nothing. And it was oddly refreshing to put on normal clothes and go to a normal sized house, attending a normal Stocking Festival dinner with someone other than the Sonata's. When was the last time she had done something like this? She couldn't remember.
"...Oh yeah... I remember now..." Now it was beginning to dawn on Kotone. She had only offered that because she had hoped her sister being there would take Reed's judging eyes away from her. Upon remembering this, Kotone quickly broke into a grin and grabbed Shinju's arm, tugging her up to the door. "You're not late, good," she said with fake cheerfulness. "Can we just go in?" She placed her hand on the doorknob and, finding it unlocked, pushed the door open and stepped into the house. "Hey! Anyone here?" she yelled into her cousin-in-law's house. Now that she had a third party to soak up the scrutiny, she could act however she wanted, right?

-Eleanor LeBlanc & Rune LeBlanc-
"Give me a bit" had managed Blaire when a knock on the door was heard. Blaire loved the holidays as much as any other person, especially a nice evening gathering, yet one could do without the chaos of preparing for such event. Decorating here and there, helping with the cooking, making sure your husband didn't collapse in a corner and the girls are still alive, all while hoping the hormones aren't the end of you. It was a task, but so far it was being accomplished. Except for June dirtying up the home, but Blaire wasn't the one cleaning, so that was Reed's deal. Besides, the guy kept asking for him not her. She was dressed in an red dress that she had hoped didn't give away too much. One would be sure Reed had gotten out of the trial with Erika, only because he had suffered the trial with her. Nothing like a crying fit from a pregnant woman to liven up the house. Now she was happy with her choice of wear, especially since she was visibly pregnant right now.
Upstairs, Brooke was quite close to dying. Well not literally, but she was laying on the bed groaning every time Erika put on something different. She tried, oh how she tried to escape. But even she, after almost losing an arm when she landed on the floor after five attempts, learned to give up and accept her fate. Instead she tried a different approach, criticizing each outfit to see if she would kick her out. No luck just yet, and the girl was so tired of this that she groaned once more when Erika announced her new outfit. Brooke sat up, keeping a very uninterested look from her as she glanced over this new outfit. It was pretty... "It's as ugly as the one before Erika" said the eight year old before flopping back on the bed. She didn't believe this was over just yet. And anything to make her mad would be nice... But then opportunity shined with June's voice to which she wasted no time. Of course since Erika was properly dressed, Brooke made a last attempt to flee out of the room that proved successful. "June!" said the girl as she came to the living room, who unlike her sister had been dressed hours ago in her green dress. Oh freedom never smelled so sweet~ Or so... aerosol-y...
Of course before Blaire could actually get to the door, Kotone was making her way in. Which made the mother flinch slightly since she was quite close to the door when she got the yell near her. "Right here Kotone" replied Blaire as she came into view. One, two, three, four, five? Now that was a surprise. Shinju Sonata... "Hey guys. Happy Holidays" smiled the woman before laughing slightly. "Come in... whoever is missing." Now that everyone was inside, she was about to close the door when another bunch caught her eye.
She wouldn't say she was late, just on time, but that focus on time was lost with a slight bickering going on between Rune and Wilhelm. It was supposedly nothing according to the teenager... but the constant 'Don't you dare!' and 'I'm telling!' had one believing otherwise. However, they made it to the Page household in one piece, with husband on side, and children in tow. Eleanor was just reaching the steps when the door opened and heard a "Great, we're all here" from her sister who ushered them in soon enough.

Reed was just putting the last minute touches together when he saw that all the guest had arrived. Seemingly all at the same time, but regardless, everything was all ready to go. Which is why Kotone's sudden burst into the house didn't have him too upset. The man removed his apron and headed to the living area where everyone should gather and greeted them all with a large smile. "It's nice to see you, Ellie, Yoakim," Of course he started with the LeBlanc's first, he saw them far less often then the Harris's after all, "Rune and Wil, too. The girls will be out in just a sec." He gave respectful hugs and hand shakes as they were needed, eventually working his way up to his side of the family. Of course Alt and him shared an awkward hug, as per the norm. Alastair was an awkward fellow after all. And he gave Peter and Skyla pats on the head, learning from experience that the Harris daughter was not a fan of him. And then moved to the two blondes who had made it for the evening. "I'm glad you decided to come over Kotone," Though he knew it was his cousin who forced her. He did enjoy her coming over though, she was family. Then he turned to a familiar, yet surprising face, but kept his smile, "It's nice to see you as well Shinju." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While her father was busy greeting the guests, Erika was putting some finishing touches to her outfit and make-up. Sure, she didn't have to look perfect for a family dinner, but her sister's bratty comment made her feel a bit self-conscious. So sprucing up a bit made the girl feel better. She looked at herself in the mirror one last time and put on her game face. She had to be the model child in front of the family to make her Papa proud. So with a spring in her step and a silent hum, she made her way to where everyone was at and instantly grabbed Blaire's arm, not her father's. She flashed a big smile to the group and gave a joyous, "Happy Holidays~" Giving personal waves to Peter and, reluctantly, Wil. She then walked over and gave Alt a big hug, only really to make her way to her tiny little cousin. She wrapped Skyla in her arms and gave her a big kiss on the cheek, "Hello Angel~" Ah... She was like a little doll! So cute, unlike her sister. Who was off next to June, which Erika would normally do, but Peter was here. And she had to take care of him. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June had watched silently as the masses arrived. He was more interested in the little tyke who had ran his way. "Hey there shorty," He greeted Brooke with a grin as he removed himself from the couch. At least there was someone considerate enough in this house to answer his call. He took his hands and grabbed a lock of hair on each side of her hair and tugged gently back and forth. Not in a bullying way, though it easily might seem like it, just in a way that entertained him. The blonde often did this sort of thing mindlessly as he let his mind wander. Though it got him in trouble a lot. Yuri didn't care for her hair being messed up by June's idiotic tendencies and Lyra always snapped at him, though that was fun in its own way. A calm little girl like Brooke was perfect for the boy's mindless toying around. Of course, his other favorite toy had arrived as well. Letting go of the youngest Page's hair and ruffling it just before he left, June made his way to his old friend Rune. Well really, it was Ray's old friend, but she had spent just as much time with the older King brother as the younger. The artist smiled and waved to Ellie and Yoakim, who he was not really thrilled to see, and then placed himself in front of their daughter. "Yo Rune, still a shrimp as always" He spoke with a large grin, refraining from touching her in anyway with that overprotective dad of hers around. Of course, June wasn't much taller than the white haired teen, but she had always been a little thing in his eyes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alastair had just simply followed when his wife barged into his cousin's home. It wasn't like they didn't usually do that any other day, though he felt they should be a little more considerate on a holiday. Yet, Reed and Blaire didn't seem too shaken about it, so the man let it slide as well. He greeted the LeBlanc's, people who only really saw on occasion, and then greeted his cousin, who luckily was soon to talk to his wife and her sister. This gave Alastair the chance to slip away from the group and greet his cousin-in-law. "Hello Blaire," His greetings had become rather normal over the years. Every one has to grow up. He gave the woman a small hug and a, awkward, smile, "How are you feeling?" He liked to check up on her. He imagined that Blaire would handle the situation much better than his wife. Kotone was nothing less than a nightmare when she was pregnant with Skyla. Well, one could say Mrs. Harris was a nightmare on any given day. But, the crazy hormones and misdirected anxiety and anger made her just that much more insufferable. Hopefully, Reed didn't have to deal with any of that. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skyla trotted behind her parent's as they entered the house, still holding onto Peter as she looked at all the people. She recognized them all. The little blonde saw them pretty often after all. But, only one really struck her fancy. Though, before she could even go to her best friends side, she was scooped up by a familiar older figure. She winced as Erika's lips touched her cheek. "Happy Holidays..." She squeaked with a blank stare at her older cousin, which warranted her another large hug from the Erika. Skyla like the attention. She liked Erika, so she liked being hugged by her. Though she began to squirm as she became more and more desperate for Brooke. Eventually she escaped and made her way to her friend. Being patted by June as he walked by. She growled at the touch. He was mean after all! The girl scurried over to Brooke and grabbed both her hands with her own. "Happy Holidays Brooke!" She tried to exclaim, but her small voice made it hard to tell.

"Yeah, yeah..." Kotone barely noticed the LeBlanc's coming in after her, she was much too busy savoring the moment. She simply nodded a curt greeting to Reed and Blaire. She was here, her obligation as Alt's wife was done, why be friendly on top of it all? She hated all of this gross family greeting stuff, all the delighted cries and hugs and things, so without another word, she wandered off towards a random corner, where she could camp out for the rest of the night.
"Hello!" Peter greeted his extended family respectively with excitement. Unlike his mother, he thrived off of things like this. It wasn't just going somewhere with his family, it was being with his family and a little extra. Like seeing his best friend in a slightly different context! "You too, Will," he smiled at the LeBlanc's. He usually wouldn't consider them family, but they were related to Blaire, so after a brief moment of confusion, he quickly adjusted and found it just as normal as anything else! "Erika~" he added, waving back to Erika. "Happy holidays!" He crossed his arms and walked over to the blonde haired girl with a perfectly content smile. Wilhelm seemed to be a little out of it, so he gravitated towards his other friend. He just had to get her attention away from the others.
Shinju was nervous, and she had a feeling that a slight blush had settled across her tired features. But she had no energy to fight back a little bit of pink, and so she instead ignored the sensation and focused instead on feebly playing nice. She hadn't done a very good job of keeping up with the family. Something about living with the Sonata's was like living in a bubble. You couldn't help but fall out of touch with the rest of the town. She knew of Blaire and her marriage to Reed, but it was something completely different to see the two of them in such a domestic setting. Made her feel out of touch with the world. "You too, Reed. It's been a while. She smiled, though it didn't feel genuine. She felt much too awkward. The two of them hadn't been close, but considering their brief history, she couldn't just treat him like any old acquaintance, either. It wasn't an ideal situation to say the least. "Your house is lovely, by the way." Small talk. She had fallen out of practice. Ugh, that sounded cliche. Shifting her weight, Shinju flashed a small smile to the rest of the group, Reed's family and the LeBlanc's. Oh, this wasn't an ideal situation at all. She had to remind herself that it was better than spending it alone. "...I hope it's not a problem I'm here." Even that didn't feel genuine, but it was polite, and that was a safe route.

-Eleanor LeBlanc & Rune LeBlanc-
It still surprised her how different she and Blaire were. Even their gatherings were different. Of course they were involved in each others events, but there was a different feeling to all they did. Which was probably why as everyone spoke to somebody of the family, Ellie looked up to her husband "Can you believe it? Another kid to this bunch" commented the woman, glancing over to her sister for a moment. Well, that probably wasn't something to really think about now that she recalled her sister-in-law's many children. Still, those two were already growing up, they would be starting all over again with this baby. "Especially with Erika and Brooke at their ages."
Rune was quite grateful her brother was easily distracted, in this case by the presence of the rest of the family and more importantly his best friends. After going through the usual greetings, she was met with a very familiar face who had proceeded on teasing her as always. And as always, a slight blush came to her face, at both the teasing and well just the young man. "Hey! I think I grew thank you very much" replied the girl with a smile, keeping her hands behind her back. "I might even reach you someday" she added jokingly. "What have you been up to June? I haven't seen you in a while."
Of the group, Blaire's attention had been just about on everyone, offering a nod or greeting for those few seconds, placing a free hand on the clinging Erika's head, before a certain family member approached her. "Alt" smiled the woman as she returned the hug from her cousin-in-law. "I'm feeling well. The world doesn't spin on me anymore" chuckled Blaire, quite glad to be over the initial bouts of nausea that drove her crazy. Now insufferable she was not, however it was not an easy life for Reed. Even if they had already gone through one pregnancy, those were never completely enjoyable. However having someone checking up on you once in a while was nice, and Blaire was quite grateful for that. "Thanks for asking Alt. Now, how's work going?" Well she was curious.
A smile came from Brooke at June's little antics. She was really one of the few that enjoyed them, besides they never really hurt. This one didn't last too long as the rest of the family came into the home. The girl offered a smile from her father's side and joined a "Happy Holidays~" to the greeting. This was a growing odd family and Brooke was just waiting for everyone to sort of disperse before going to her best friend. Luckily, the girl went to her first. "Happy Holidays Sky" she smiled, slightly swinging the two's hands to the sides.

Oh, a baby~~! Kade hadn't asked or called or, really, anything when he heard the news – all the man had done was rush Brian and Junior out of the house to hurry on towards town square to purchase as many little baby presents as he could afford~! Kade had spent years planning for a baby shower whenever his friends had come up pregnant – he loved them! But, personal drama and financial reasons had often held him back from actually executing. The last time he could afford to throw a baby shower had been with Ilya, but.. his old friend hadn't taken it nicely – with good reason – and Kade was a bit anxious to attempt this again. Which was why he had waited until the day the baby was proven to be healthy, alive, and still with the Page's to drag Junior and Brian off for a surprise shower.
Kade had remembered Blaire to have a little girl about Brian's age, so, not wanting the child to feel lonely, the boy was brought to play. Junior, on the other hand, needed to get out and see other people instead of hide in his room like he always did. So, Kade had taken him as well! It wasn't very many people, but it was enough to have a fun little party for the new parents. Brian had his hands full of paper bags as they stood at the doorstep along with Junior, both really wanting to leave, but not wanting to upset their sensitive relative – Junior loved his father too much to want to wish any more reasons to be sad on the man and Brian just always felt kinda sick when his uncle started to act more like a pansy than he usually did. So, they didn't protest whatsoever as Kade rang the doorbell to the house and waited with a hummed tune for someone to answer.

 -Blaire Page & Brooke Page-
It was truly amazing how one child could exhaust you so. Well, three. With Madison Page finally in their home, things were certainly moving around quickly. Managing everything, going back to their earlier years to when Brooke was born, well it was just a bit hectic. The house was always full of people, especially with the buzz about the baby. She didn't mind really, but it'd be a lie to say it didn't take a lot out of you. Blaire really had to thank the Goddess several times over for her husband being such a delight. They were each others pillar, something that had kept them sane all this time.
Speaking of time, she should probably check if Reed hadn't burned himself out today. After all, there was a little mishap in the kitchen that needed clean up and she had just finished that. Brooke had helped her out there, which she really appreciated. She would also appreciate that Maddy would sleep the whole night, but she knew there was very little chance, if none at all, that it would happen. Now she didn't have much time to ponder that before the doorbell rang. Who could be there was anyone's guess... well that actually rang the doorbell. With Brooke in tow, she went over to the door, opening to be met with a surprise visit. "Kade? What are you doing over here?" asked the woman with a smile. It had been a long time since she sat down to just talk with Kade, and that was probably why she felt embarrassed at her current state. You know, messed up hair, rolled up sleeves, slippers, not really host material.
