((It's cool ^_^))

Hyacinth frantically checked his body to make sure he was still whole and in his proper shape. His scalp and the base off his spine itched something terrible. He tried to hide his trembling as his voice broke "No! Not that!" He didn't know what to do now that he'd been caught. He never got caught! Anger started to bubble up within him, even more so when she started laughing. This wasn't supposed to happen this way! Hyacinth stood up and ran a hand through his mane, trying to come up with a story on the fly. The moment he saw his hair though he let out an agonized yell. "What did you doooo?! It's hideous now! Turn it back!" He grabbed handfuls of his main, staring at them in horror. There was no WAY he could show his face in town looking like this! He'd lose all of his street cred.

Annnnd she laughed again when he ordered her to do something else. This child was a good laugh--even if it did cost her a potion worth more than his skin at market!

"Indeed----And why would I do that? I think you look good blonde--" her giggles subsded and she went to the door closing it so as to make him explain himself. This would not be pleasant if he lied to her...

Eyes narrowed at his and all jokes gone from her face she rpeated the first question.

"Blond..." No! Hyacinth was NOT a blond! The color stood out so loudly against the purple! She COULDN'T leave him like that! He stared at her in shock as she closed the door. Dead mearh walkin.... his mind whispered to him. Screw hair color and street cred! She was gonna kill him! His eyes danced about wildly, looking for an escape route.
His mind came up with an excuse as he searched. ".. I came here to deliver a message from the healers guild! They wanted to know if you could supply them with a stronger numbing salve than what they have..." Sounded plausible to him. He glanced up at her to see if she bought it.

Tiri held up a finger pondering the excuse...

"So---why were you hiding? " She looked suspicious still. Like to see him come up with a lie for that....

Tiri-Ithil's head spun to her windows--all closed for the evening---and then to the cauldron as she stepped away from the door. Lingering near her pedestal she leaned over the book; opening the remedy pages to the salve in case for some reason he was telling the truth.

He'd already thought of that one. He was feeling a little more sure of himself since she seemed to believe him. MAYBE he'd come out of this with his skin intact...and the right color!
"well when I came in the witch who was here was throwing stuff around like a crazy woman! I hid to avoid getting hurt!" The windows were all closed, he wasn't sure if any were locked though, or the front door for that matter. He'd have to get a closer look. As she moved from the door to her cauldron he inched closer to it, trying to see if the latch was thrown.

His story seemed solid enough and she; having no proof otherwise.... Lets the door open. As he inched to it it creeeeeeaked and let light in from the outside world which he must have imagined not seeing again.

"And next time---" His hair turned slowly back ot its original color and hue; the dye effect only temporary as the potion was not intended to color fur.

"---Do be careful."

With that she opened th ebook she was previously working in and stoked the fire under the cauldron.
She watched him waiting for him to leave; surely with haste as she went back to her books and work.

Hyacinth glanced at the door as it began to open almost giddy with relief. She'd bought it! Damn he was good. "Sure thing!" He turned to dash out, grabbing the first thing his hand touched as his proof of being there. He was NOT telling the guys what had happened inside...

a. Help Decorate (We needs us a TREE!)
b. Bring Snacks (ginger snaps and popyseed muffins heart )
c. Dance ! (Need a partner for this one~! biggrin )

Da' Rules!
1. Be pleasant; bad guys are even nice on christmas! *see daisy code ^^*
2. Posts need to be THREE FULL SCENTENCES minimum. Novels are cool too... biggrin
3. You can post wihtout completing a quest! This is optional event you're welcome to just RP here without joining in the festivities!

(Rolling for Quest A - Cainan // Anneth has started Quest B)

Cainan hummed cheerfully as he ventured to the forest. Tiri had requested help with trees and swinging an axe couldn't be that different from swinging a hammer. He'd be more useful decorating than he would be preparing food. The poor guy just barely managed to feed himself.

Hyacinth was leery about attending the party at Tiri's. The memory of his previous trip still brought a flush of shame to his face. Still the whole town had been invited and she seemed to have bought his excuse so as far as he knew...she had nothing against him. He still approached the tower slowly, steeling his courage.

Niko sauntered up to the front door and knocked loudly. He hadn't brought anything but himself. He knew that would be enough. This was a perfect situation for him. The whole town would be here, there was sure to be dancing and what women DIDN'T fall for a suave dancing partner, especially after a drink or two!
...
Anneth had toyed with the idea of staying home. She was in the middle of a very good book and loath to put it down. Still some social interaction would be good for her. The invite had stated it was a pot-luck gathering so she had decided to bake a couple batches of Ginger Cookies.
