Oyumi had just been in the process of opening the drawer her hand had been hovered over when the Deino had decided to simply waltz into the playroom. Startled by the sudden appearance of an unfamiliar pokémon, she quickly turned towards it, abandoning her search. For a while, she merely watched the stranger, waiting for it to make a move.
And then it did, and poor Fuutarou was quite taken by surprise to find a toy colliding right with the side of his head.
'What the-!?'
Oyumi couldn't help her quick giggle, and she shook her head lightly. Trust Fuutarou to be caught completely unawares at the most opportune moment for hilarity. Even so, the trainer took her head, already mentally preparing herself for battle.
"Looks like the little guy wants a fight. Fuutarou, use Aura Sphere!"
There was only a second's hesitation before the Mewtwo complied, charging a crackling blue sphere of aura between his hands before firing it at the enemy pokémon.

Although Deino was blind, it could sense the telltale feeling of energy gathering and knew that an attack would be launched in its direction. So it did what any smart pokemon would do when a mewtwo attacks: run. It managed to get away enough to avoid a complete hit by the aura sphere, but still sported some light scratches on its hind legs. It didn't seem to mind much though - the injury was pretty minor.
"Dei, deino!" The dark-type pokemon released some energy of its own by slamming its front legs into the ground and creating a pulse of dark energy that sent everything on the floor flying.

Katie yelped when the Deino entered the room - she had known this mansion was weird, but not that it had this kind of pokémon in it! She backed away for a moment as Oyumi's Mewtwo (what was his name? Fu-something?) readied and attack, and then abruptly sat down when the Deino retaliated.
Her rattata friend, however, wasn't so lucky - the little rat pokémon was sent flying and slammed its head into the sharp corner of a box. The impact stuns it for a long moment, before gathering its feet under it and jumping at the Deino, teeth bared as it tried to bite the dragon.
"Hey, wait, aren't you even going to let me try to help you out?" Katie called, but the rattata ignored her - it was wild, after all. It didn't have to listen to the orange human at all if it didn't want to!

The rattata managed to hit Deino's leg, but didn't get to quite sink its teeth into it because the Deino quickly knocked it away after the initial contact.
Roaring at the audacity of the humans to first invade its room, then attack him, Deino launched another wide-ranged dark pulse at the group.

 Kurai had been more than a little surprised at the Deino, startling and moving back, tripping and landing on her butt. Thankfully, one of the toys that had gone flying went right over her head. Hissy Cow made a VERY annoyed noise, pawing the floor beneath it. The other Pokemon could have hurt Kurai! And it obviously didn't intend to give them a chance to just leave. Kurai could flail at her later...she was going to protect her trainer and the other humans!
"Miltank!" She tromped her way to the Deino and raised up onto her hind legs, bringing them down in an attempt to use Stomp.

Deino once again scurried to away from the brunt of the Miltank's attack, but one of the hind legs did connect with Deino's own tail. The dark pokemon growled. It didn't know where exactly the pokemon that kicked him was, but he knew he was around something because he could hear a heartbeat close by.
Reaching out with ice forming over its teeth, Deino bit down on whatever was close to it.

Fuutarou let out a startled cry when the Deino's jaws latched onto his leg, quickly lifting it in an attempt to shake the small pokémon off. When that was met with limited success, psychic energy crackled along his forearms. Without any direction, he lout of a blast of the energy, attempting to hit the enemy pokémon with a decently powerful Psychic attack.

Deino cried out in pain as it was literally knocked off its feat by the psychic attack. It couldn't quite get up yet, but nonetheless thought of a creative way to attack the trainers. It opened up its wide mouth and let out an ear piercing screech that reverberated all across the room and probably damaged some eardrums in the process.
All the while, it kept flailing, trying to get back on its feet like a tipped cow.

Katie and the little rattata both cried out at the painful screech. Katie's hands slammed over her ringing ears, while the rattata tripped over it's tail, its balance upset for the moment.
"Ow, ow, ow; remind me to get some earplugs in the future." Katie complained, though her voice sounded a little muffled to her own ears. It was going to take a bit to recover from that.
The Rattat, wincing from the pain the screech had caused its sensitive ears, rallied and darted around the Deino before trying to slam it with a tackle.

Deino rolled out of the way before the rattata could hit it. Instead, the rat pokemon ran straight into a plush toy. At least it wasn't a wall though?
The Deino then continued to kill everyone's eardrums with its wailing.

Kurai managed to recover in time to cover her ears as the shriek happened, wincing. It seemed this was one of those Pokemon they'd need to subdue first. That...didn't sit well with her.
Hissy Cow, on the other hand, moved in for another Stomp, making her displeasure with the Deino's wailing and antics known with a loud 'MIL!'.

Hissy Cow got a good shot in, causing a nasty bruise to form on Deino's side. Angry, frustrated, and generally displeased at the crowd that was in its room, Deino let out yet another strong dark pulse that sent everything in the room flying.
Then it continued to roll over, firmly getting on its feet as if it had gained its second wind.

Fuutarou grit his teeth between both blasts of the Deino's screech, his eyes flicking briefly to his trainer who had clapped her hands over her ears. He didn't allow himself to be distracted for long though; Oyumi could take care of herself. As soon as he returned his attention to the other pokémon he noticed it charging another dark pulse. It was simple to levitate to avoid the attack when he'd seen it coming, and he was quick to return with a Shadow Ball of his own.

The Deino, now on its feet, could easily run away from the shadow ball. It didn't stop running after it got out of the range of the ball of energy. It continued to run straight at the smaller rattata that it sensed was nearby. All 100+ pounds of its bulk was hurled with the intent to flatten the smaller pokemon.

Katie didn't have the time to try and call out a warning to the little Rattata - the Deino hit it, stepping on its tail rather than its full body. It hurt, judging by the screech the little rat sent up, but it also seemed to make the small pokémon furious, as it lept away once it was free, and then straight back into the fray, sharp teeth bared once again.
