[R] Dark Mirror Bootcamp [Leto & Deneb Kaitos w/Arsinoe] FIN

He paused, balanced on the edge of a building, when the dark senshi stopped and stared at him. He had hoped to get a little closer but if she was one of the band that followed the blood moon? No hope there. The little he'd gathered about that court and their leader was full of heavy military training. Plus she was his level and it was easier to spot energy signatures like this.

Shifting his weight slightly he watched and tilted himself to the side slightly so he could see the other senshi there.

Damn.

He really sucked at this whole fighting thing and having two senshi there, probably hell bent on kicking his a**, wasn't going to be a good thing. That didn't change that the fact that they felt like the Negaverse wasn't wrong on so many levels. How could senshi let themselves be corrupted like that? He still didn't understand.

"It's odd ... you're not a Corrupt senshi but you feel like them." He didnt' yell but knew he was speaking loud enough for his voice to carry over the distance between them.

She rolled her eyes at his comment about her not looking like a Corrupt Senshi. She lost track of how many White Moon Senshi had asked her just what exactly she was.

“Not a part of the Negaverse,” was all she said in return, making sure she was loud enough for him to hear her.

“Now why don’t you come on over here to play in our sandbox, hm? Or are you gonna be a little p***y and hang out on that roof way over there?”

Andddd there was Leto’s potty mouth.

If there was one thing she hated, it was being interrupted. And now he was interrupting AND wasting her time. Sailor Leto was quickly growing irritated.

Not looking like a what now ?

Leto looked more and more irritated the more the white-clad senshi spoke, and Deneb Kaitos looked more and more confused. Corrupted senshi... like that one weird senshi with the bat wings that had made sure nothing bulldozed him in that huge fight ?

Uh.

"What is he going on about ?" Yep, with one sentence he'd just confirmed himself as utterly and completely new, but the words were out before he could think about holding them in and shutting the hell up.

"I rather like my sandbox. It's clean." He smirked slightly. He still hadn't gotten over being an a** to anyone who tried to be an a** first. Broken ribs didn't seem to be enough of a deterrent to stop him from doing that.

"You feel like the Negaverse ... or at least the same sort of wrong." Which was enough for him. He still didn't understand how any of them could want to give themselves up for that. "So, if you're not the Negaverse what are you?"

Obviously steeling senshi, if the other boy's words were anything to go about. He thought most of the senshi knew about the corrupts by now, with how many of them there were around.

Leto groaned loudly as the guy on the other rooftop continued to ask questions. She was getting really ******** tired of Q&A sessions. She glanced over her shoulder at Deneb Kaitos, who she realized was still crouched under the suspended mirror. She waved him over so he didn’t have to stand over there, now that the other Senshi made it pretty clear he was a giant wussbag and would stay where he was.

“Corrupt Senshi, like the fancy guy with the really long purple hair from the big space battle that helped us out. He was corrupt. Essentially, a Senshi in the Negaverse. We’re not quite one of them- we’re both Chaos aligned and we have an alliance with the Negaverse so we’re close… But we don’t take orders from them, we’re separate with a mutual respect.”

She supposed she was probably talking loud enough for the other guy to hear, even though she was clearly directing what she was saying to Deneb Kaitos.

“Now are you just gonna stand there and distract me from our business or are you gonna man-up and do something? Because I’m getting awfully tired of this conversation.”

She really didn’t want to go over there to hit the guy… It would be way easier if he’d just come over here so she could stay where she was and still take out her frustration.

He was gestured over and he nodded, coming forward and letting Arsinoe get his first good look of him. He clearly wasn't of the white moon for sure - the black gave it away, really.

"Ahh..." Well. Alright then, he figured. But what now ? They couldn't just quite keep training with a white moon senshi watching them, couldn't they ?

Through... He wasn't too sure what he should do if things degenerated. It would probably be better to bolt through a mirror, but he respected Leto too much to just bolt and let her fight off this dude alone, even if it might be an easy fight for her.

What now was a good question. While typically Leto was all for a fight, she wasn't entirely sure that getting into a scrap with this White Moon Senshi and putting her trainee at risk was a good idea. She looked at Deneb Kaitos for a moment, before turning her attention back to the Order-Aligned man on the other rooftop. She sighed heavily, disappointed in the lack of a**-kickery.

Even more disappointed in the fact that their training was being cut short.

She rolled her eyes at the White Mooner before grabbing Deneb Kaitos' hand and leading him towards the closest mirror that was on the roof.

"We'll continue this another time," she said in a quiet whisper to him, before pulling him through the mirror with her.

When she pulled him out on the other side, they were in her bedroom and she instantly powered down and instructed Deneb Kaitos to do the same before the Senshi that remained outside could sense where they were.

Apparently training would have to wait.

Leto was annoyed, that much was obvious, really - but when she turned to take his hand, he let her, following her through the mirror and letting go of his powered form as she asked him to. It made sense, with the senshi just above them - he certainly didn't need to know where Leto lived.

"...Should I have just left and let you kick his a** ?" He asked, sheepish. He felt like a liability. He hated feeling like a liability, really. It was incredibly frustrating.

Quinn shook her head and offered Josh a smile. "Not at all, he wasn't worth my time."

She lead the way from her bedroom to the living room. "I figure we should just lay low in here for a while. Dunno how long he'll be up there. You can hang out here if you don't wanna walk home, that way you can power up and head home through a mirror later."

She quirked an eyebrow at him before settling down on her couch and propping her feet up on the coffee table, turning on the tv. Patting the couch, she looked over at him, waiting for him to take a seat next to her. When he finally did, she relaxed and let out a long sigh.

While they sat with the tv on as background noise, Quinn used a coaster to explain to him how to use his mirrorwraith. She also explained to him the idea of a home mirror and offered for him to use her apartment as such until he got his own place if he didn't want to end up at Veer's if he was in trouble or badly hurt (which she hoped would never be the case). He'd just have to practice mirror walking another time, with or without Leto.

When a few hours had passed, she waved as she watched Deneb Kaitos slip through the mirror hanging on her living room wall.
