Keria jumped back as the chest opened and a Pokemon jumped out. "it's kind of cute." It was at least until it started to attack them. "Do you think it thinks we're the one's who trapped it in the box?"
Tatters was knocked back by the wind landing on a shard of glass. Keria frowned cute or not it was going down. "Tatters Use Crunch!" Tatters ran up Keria and leaped off her hat at the Emolga his teeth bared.

A purple blur was all Emolga saw until it felt pain in its paw. It squeaked loudly, scurrying away from tatter's jaws and only leaving behind some of its white fur.
"Emol, emolga!"
The attacks only seem to anger the confused and cranky Emolga more. It continued to launch gust attacks, creating a horrible mess about the room. Near Reno, the once locked box began to lift into the air from the gust and well...hefty boxes and vupixes may not mix together well.

 No. No they do not. The box hit Reno rather hard, sending the vulpix flying backwards. Noah's heart leapt into his throat. "Reno!" He skidded across the floor, dodging a wayward plushie, and crouched down next to her. "You okay?"
The vulpix shook it off, and rose shakily, a growl building deep in her throat. The determination to win was now enough that Noah didn't need to say an attack. Without waiting for her trainer's command, the vulpix leapt forward, and snarled as embers were aimed at the Emolga.

Emolga had expected the vulpix to stay down, but it didn't. Instead, it blew an amazingly hot burst of flames right at Emolga's face. The pokemon knew that it didn't have enough time to fly away so it put up its arms over its body in an attempt to protect some body parts from being badly burned. The emolga emerged from the flames slightly charred but still conscious. It meekly jumped up onto a bed for height advantage and enjoyed the softness for only a moment before releasing more electricity at the group. [400/1000]

This was about as exciting as the rainbow bridge all over again! Gritting her teeth together River the long haired redhead shot her hand out forward just as the stupid emo-la-la-ga or whatever it was erupted with its next attack.
"Zubat, your foe is gimp, attack him while he's weak! Use something really uber!" Gruffly demanded the teen in a voice that cracked with stressed. Letting out a squeak the little bluish bat zoomed forward with his mouth wide open preparing to use Bite!

The emolga allowed the zubat to bite its tail but wildly flailed enough to knock it back away. It would not move from its spot. And for anyone that tried to get close. Well. They would just get a little shocking surprise.
Or not so surprise. Emolga had been doing this for quite a while.
"EMOL!" It declared, releasing more electricity to ward away the trainers. Why couldn't they just leave?

 Keria winced as Tatters got hit with the electricity. Bending down she scooped him up before tossing him at the bed clings to one of the posts he scurried up to face the emolga "Tatters use Hyper Fang!" Keria cried. Arriving at the top where the emolga was, Tatters launched himself at the flying squirrel preparing to bite. Pokemon Stats - Tatters 400/800

Emolga put up an arm to defend itself from the sharp teeth and got a nasty gash on its arm. It continued to refuse to move from its position. This was the emolga's pride.
Raising its tired arms, the emolga let out even more powerful gusts of wind with as much strength as it could muster. The winds were strong and pushed the rattata away slightly to create some distance. Meanwhile, it also started to throw around that oh-so-dangerous box again...

Reno was getting pretty damn tired of that box, to be honest. Though she leapt in an attempt to dodge it, the box still caught her feet and sent her down hard into the floor. Growling, she pulled herself up.
Noah had had enough of this. "Reno!" He shouted. "Let's finish this. Tackle it, bring it down!"
Reno nodded an affirmation, and ran at the Emolga with full speed, bracing herself to tackle the emolga and, with luck, end this farce.

The emolga was too weak to fully dodge the attack, but was still managed to get back on its feet after being tackled by the vulpix. Thankfully it wasn't a ninetales or else Emolga was quite sure it would faint from the difference in size.
"Emol...emolga...ga..." Emolga huffed in short breathes. Its vision was getting blurry and it felt it would collapse soon. But...it had to continue! It put the last of its strength in one last thunder attack that lit up the room.

"This ends here, you fuzzy little S.O.B.! Dingbat nom nom nom on his face! Use Bite!" Snapping her fingers as her signal to the zubat the winged pokemon obeyed his almighty fruity one and dove at the other flying type as it sparked and lit the room brightly! Grateful he didn't have eyes the little blue beast continued on his attack even as the electricity ravaged his body, he was so tired but he knew he could do it. Maybe if he was lucky River would treat him to something yummy after the battle was over.

Emolga could hear the zubat flying for it, but was surprised when...the zubat missed and flew straight over. Emolga blinked, wondering if the Zubat was blind. Oh wait yes it was.
Well, never one to waste an opportunity, the emolga used this opportunity to jump down at the rattata and tackle the rat pokemon for all it was worth.

Keria was surprised when the zubat missed and the emolga manage to try to attack Tatters. “It’s got a strong will huh? All right Tatters use Quick Attack!” Tatters ran back a few feet away to the emolga from hitting him. “Tatta!” confirming he heard the command, Tatters ran at the emolga gaining speed as he ran and attempt to ram the tired Pokémon. Emolga was knocked back after being hit quite squarely by the rattata's attack. Everyone must have stared at it cautiously for minutes before they realized it was out cold. Throw your pokeballs now!

Noah did indeed stare for a brief moment, before realizing it was out cold. "Thank goodness." He snorted a bit, eying the emolga. He couldn't help but feel impressed by the emolga's energy. It had a determination that only rivaled Reno's in the pokemon he saw.
Taking out his only pokeball, he threw it at the Emolga.
