This idea is taking from an old 1x1 roleplay that I had going. I'm going to list the different themes and ideas that the two of us had going, but since I want to redo this with someone else things will be different so don't feel like the roleplay would have to go this way. I just want to keep some of the same ideas and elements.

The roleplay would start off as three people break into a boy's home and kidnap him. The twist that happens at the beginning is that one of the kidnappers is actually a demon and he ends up killing the other two kidnappers for whatever reason. The demon ends up releasing the boy in exhange for the boy's soul. The boy is left with the demon's mark on his arm and is brought back to his house and his worried parents {the boy is like seventeen at this point}. The demon comes back the next day and starts to spend time with the boy. It's revealed then that the demon is actually on earth now because of a misunderstanding that caused him to be banished from hell. The demon isn't very happy about it and won't talk much about the misunderstanding. He's not sure why but for some reason he's drawn to the boy.

Soon he finds out the reason, or what he thinks is the reason. About a year ago, the boy had run into another demon that was running for his life. The boy didn't know that the second demon was a demon though and marked it as a strange thing when the second demon kissed him and then suddenly disappeared. What had actually happened is that the second demon, who's an incubus, had kissed the boy and, using his powers, had in a sense dissolved into the boy and now the two were sharing a body as the second demon hid from the people trying to kill him. The boy had no idea of this though and went along with his life.

Now back to the present time, the boy and the first demon are hanging out when the second demon takes control of the boy's body and reveals himself. It's also revealed that the first and second demon have a long history together. The two demons were at one point in love before the second demon cheated on the first demon with the first demon's brother. Their love turned into hate and the two broke up. Also the second demon is the one responsible for the whole misunderstanding talked about before which causes the first demon to hate the second demon more which had caused him to send people after the second demon to try to kill him. The first and second demon have a very complicated love/hate relationship.

The first demon gets mad as soon as he finds out the second demon is controlling the boy's body and ends up getting the second demon to come out {if that makes sense?}. The two fight a bit and the second demon ends up leaving. The confused boy just watches the whole thing. The first demon now comforts the boy and they bond a bit. The next day though, the first demon leaves the boy, planning to chase after the second demon. The first demon tells that boy that he'll be back in two years to check in on him.

So time skip to two years when the boy is now eighteen. He's living on his own when during the night, the first demon comes back. The boy tells him to sleep on the couch and goes to bed himself. The boy wakes up though to the sounds of fighting. He comes out of the bedroom to see two people fighting. While the first demon was sleeping, he was woken up to his demon brother {the two don't get along} in the room and the two start fighting. The demon brother is actually the boy's current boyfriend, the two meeting after the first demon had left. The demon brother wanted revenge on his brother and had found the human boy with his brother's mark. He pretended to be someone else, still a demon, and made the boy fall for him. One thing the demon brother didn't expect though was to actually fall back for the boy.

It's revealed by the first demon that the demon brother isn't who he says he is and is actually his brother. The boy gets pissed, but the demon brother and the boy eventually make up. The first demon is jealous by this even though he isn't sure why. The next day, demon two arrives back into the plot and states that he's waiting for something. He's obviously up to something but no one can find out what. During that time, it's revealed that first demon had caught the second demon numerous times during the two years but due to their complicated relationship never ended up killing him. The two demons do really love each other, but both are too stubborn to admit or see it and their conflicting personalities end with a lot of arguements.

That day, the boy turns nineteen and wakes up to a big surprise. He remembers what he is {the something that the second demon knew}. The boy is a human with special gifts. He's reborn every fifty years or sooner if he gets killed before then. He's the guardian for a very special locket that holds unlimited power, something that demons and humans all want. At the age of nineteen, he regains his memories from his previous lives, gains his powers of controlling the shadows, and stops aging until he dies and is reborn again. He reveals to the first demon and demon brother what he truly is and breaks up with the demon brother saying he has to find the locket and that relationships are never a good thing for him. The demon brother spends his time trying to convince him that that's a bad idea and that the two of them belong together.

Meanwhile, the second demon has his own plan. He's sick of him and the first demon fighting and all the hurt they've caused people and each other due to this messed up relationship. So he decides that he wants to find the locket for himself so that he can go back in time and make it so that him and the first demon never met. The first demon finds out about this and tries to convince the other not to. So the first demon and second demon are one pairing and the boy and the brother demon are a second pairing, but it's more like a rectangle since the first demon and the boy have slight feelings for each other and the second demon and the brother demon are exes and there's lingering feelings at times.

I know that this plot seems very confusing and is probably something someone will have to read over a few times but I would really like to redo this with someone. So if someone is interested please let me know! Or if two people are interested since the demon brother and the first demon will be the open roles.
