"...We get to do this again right ?" Because yes. Ilmenite was right. It had been ******** glorious.
...Through now he had to admit it was creepy. A walmart shouldn't be this empty this early, damn.
"Want to teleport the stuff to your place first ? Pretty sure I can handle the bag. And get us back in the bathroom after." But if Ilmenite thought he was gonna act like they'd just ******** in there...

As if he'd warn, if that were the plan. Another little hum, his eyes sliding around the place, and then he shrugged -- focusing back on Alunite with fingers shifting around the bag and his smile going lopsided, almost apologetic.
"I only have one teleport in me. If you can haul both of us around, we're golden, but..." Captains. One teleport was going to wipe Ilmenite out anyway, leave him mostly just wanting to sit down. That'd be pretty good as a 'we just got drained by that crazy senshi' cover, but less good for easily getting home. He shrugged one shoulder, bag shifting in his grip.
"If not, front door. Out and back. All's well."

"Yeah, I can handle that. I ferry people to subspace all the damn time. Dunno if I can do it twice in short order but... Or I can get the bag in your place, come back, then get us in the bathroom" On the other hand, being eternal was a beautiful, lovely thing. Whatever Ilmenite preferred, really.
Alunite took the bag - really, it was only going to help the captain if he was doing the heavy lifting. "Holy... Kind of surprised the bag isn't breaking." s**t was heavy.
Really, he wasn't gonna test his luck as to the strength of said bag - he imagined the kitchen in Ever's apartment and was gone in an instant.
If Ilmenite didn't follow, well, he'd be right back to get him.

Alunite was going to come back to -- well. Nothing, except for the sound of approaching sirens. Ilmenite didn't follow, but neither did he stand around waiting for rescue. Instead he popped back into the bathroom to wait, shaking himself down to civis so he wouldn't set off a warning beacon to any and every passing senshi in the area...
The flaw in his plan was that his partner in crime was going to come back without a damned clue where he was, and while Ever leaned against a wall and frowned at the locked door, Alunite was going to have to put two and two together to find him.

Alunite came back quickly, but not quickly enough, from the look of it - Ilmenite hadn't followed, but Ilmenite definitively wasn't here either.
...
Thankfully, two and two wasn't hard to put together, and Alunite popped in the stall a split second after that realization. "You could have waited, you know." With a blink, he was Matthew again. "Would have spared you feeling like crap... Anyway." He shrugged. "The police's already coming. Heard the sirens in the distance but they didn't see me."

Ever blinked up at Alunite and -- yeah, he looked a bit s**t, but nothing a good night's sleep wouldn't patch up. And, to be fair, he looked much like the people sprawling across the aisles would when they woke up, like he, too, had been energy drained. Maybe that had been part of the idea.
"...um. It's fine. They can hardly...I mean, they won't know it's us, we can just play teens who hid in the bathroom when it started or something." He cleared his throat and took a step forward to pop the lock on the bathroom door,
"But we should probably run anyway. I don't want to get taken in for questioning."

He almost pointed out the fact that neither of them were really teens anymore, but, well. Mantic Schemantics. It only meant that if they somehow got taken in for questioning, they probably wouldn't call his parents.
...But he really didn't want to be taken in for questioning. Ugh.
He was perfectly ready to run for it.

Less literally running and more -- confusedly wandering toward the door, with Ever's arm draped around his neck for support, the taller man slumping awkwardly to one side for the help. He didn't actually need it, no, but it'd look damned good on camera, wouldn't it? And they could get out the door before anything serious happened, as others were still twitching and working to awaken.
If they went out on one side, they could stumble down the street before anyone put two and two together, and around the corner they could take off properly, with Ever trailing. Smoking, combined with his teleport, left him at less than his best. Still, it was a clean enough getaway -- and now they had proper supplies for senshi torture.
