Hermes nodded signifying that he agreed with her plan. However he was tossed up between what to get the old lady. Bringing Csistri around her wouldn’t be a problem since the old lady seemed to like getting company from wild life. She would feed the cats around the area and the squirrels and the birds so bringing Csistri by might make a nice surprise to. However what to get first? If the flowers were the closest that might make it a bit easier but would they need their mouth and paws free to trek over to get the obsidian shards.
“Well maybe the obsidian shards first and that way if she likes or presents we can try flowers next time, or older ladies seem to like both. My mom would love both, but mostly because they where a gift. The old lady seems like a mom too so any gift would be nice, but how to tell her that it was a gift?

"I think she would understand if we put it on her porch and nosed it towards her?" Csistri offered. "Do you want to see her first or get the present?"

Hermes titled his head to the side and then thought about what they should do. "Well maybe get the gift and show up, we dont want to bother her too much you know" Hermes pondered and then turned to face Csistri. "However its a good idea, the nosing it towards her I mean. After all its the universal sign you want to give someone something. Well humans dont do it, but other animals it is." Hermes stopped considering he was starting to mumble. his family might not mind it too much when he started thinking out loud, but he didnt want Csistri to be irritated at him for some odd reason.

"Exactly!" Csistri replied decisively. She had leaned in when Hermes started mumbling to himself, so she was still able to catch everything he had said. "She'll definitely understand that. After all, we don't have those weird paws the humans use, so we can't give them to her like that." Plus, Csistri didn't want to get too close to the human. You never knew how those bi-ped would react; she'd heard about humans acting nice one second and turning on animals the next.
"Alright, let me show you where there's a ton of obsidian shards. They litter the ground all over this place." Csistri said, starting off towards the area. "You'll have to be careful once we get there, though. Naru and I each cut our paws the first time we went there. Those rocks are sharp."

Hermes had a tiny little blush at the fact she had leaned in and heard everything he said, even if he meant for her to say it. It felt weird actually going and doing something with Csistri. Normally she came by when he messed up trying to make potions or she wandered in when he happened to be surrounded by his family. It was kind of nice actually going places with her, even if it was a silly little venture to make an old human lady’s day.
“Okay well then lead the way, I shall be right behind you” Hermes stated. “Oh I always go on a journey prepared and ready for something disastrous. You haven’t gone on a journey until you decide to follow Anatolia when she wants to discover something” Hermes shuddered. He loved his littlest sister he did, but some times she just scared him.
