User Image Akiraa sighed as she grabbed her bento before lunch, her gaze darting for an instant toward the girl with blond odangoes and the redheaded girl who was obviously her friend. I haven't seen that dragoness again... but I'm certain she's watching, she thought. "Makoto might show up at lunch, you know," she said, knowing her tone was thoughtful as she spoke to Naru and Usagi. She sat against the windowsill, tilting her head slightly backwards as she lightly pushed the window with her hip, opening the cracked window fully. She saw the blue eyes of Usagi widen when she leaned back and simply dropped out of the window backwards, seemingly dropping headfirst toward the ground. Her feet flipped within seconds of leaving the floor and windowsill, letting her land on the balls of her feet with a startling skill and fluidity that was easily mistaken as inhuman; she'd practiced the trick for months, until it was second nature.

Roe happened to be walking below when she sensed movement. She stopped walking immediately and watched a fellow student land not a few feet in front of her. She sighed, "Ever heard of 'look before you leap?'" Roe asked gruffly, folding her arms.

Outside, perched in a tree, Aerie watched her charge. It was an ordinary day. She recognized the future Moon Queen and the others but she wasn't here for them...thought, when she did finally reveal herself fully to Akiraa, she'd say hello to Luna and Artemis. She abruptly stiffened as she watched Akiraa overbalance out the window.
It took a split second of discernment to see that she hadn't overbalanced but had deliberately leaned backwards. She watched her flip and land easily....right in front of another royal. Hmph, she thought, Can't get rid of them.

User Image Akiraa grinned; she was the type of girl to live life as it came and enjoy it to its fullest. "Haven't you heard the phrase 'live life to the fullest because we aren't guarenteed tomorrow'? she said, knowing she sounded amused and not really caring that much. "Besides, what fun is life without challenges of one sort or another... life back in Dublin was starting to get boring, so honestly, I'm kinda glad I moved," she said with a musical laugh. "I'm Akiraa, and you?" she said, knowing she sounded a tad lazy as her hand dropped to the bento in her training bag.

"Roe." she replied shortly. Movement at the edge of her vision had her flicking gaze to her left. She didn't see anything when she looked directly. She shrugged it off for now, "Some people live life to the full, most of them confuse that with recklessness. It gets people killed. Balance is key, always." She added after a moment. She glanced up and saw a blonde head sticking out the window, staring down at them curiously. A few other heads joined the others.

Yeah, she's alive, Roe thought, not bothering to say it aloud; they could see it for themselves, "Your friends? Or just classmates?" She asked, indicating their audience aloft.

User Image Akiraa smiled slightly as she glanced up for a moment, giggling under her breath. "I agree with the idea of balance, and I make it a point only to freak people out when I'm really bored. Classmates; this is my first day here, so I don't know anyone, really," she admitted. She shifted slightly, her gaze shifting slightly as she noticed a momentary ripple of light in the trees, though she gave no sign she'd noticed anything odd. "I did meet a Kino Makoto on the way to school, though; she's probably somewhere around here. I do have the feeling as if I belong here... yet at the same time, a sense that I belong somewhere else," she said, the last part of her words a murmur to herself she hadn't even thought about until that moment.

Roe's features finally broke into a slight smile. She nodded in commiseration, "I too am new to this school. But I have been here a month now. I am not the most social." she added reluctantly. During her stay here, she'd only run into the sailor scouts once. They hadn't caught sight of her and she preferred to keep it that way. Their mission was not hers and vice-versa and she didn't really want to field questions as to why she was on Earth.

User Image Akiraa tilted her head slightly. "Better than me; I've been in Japan for all of two weeks... though I was able to find a sensei for my black belt training quickly enough," she said with seemingly idle tones. "I know of the Sailor Scouts, but I have neither the desire to see them nor the desire to let them see me if I can avoid it," she said quietly. Her gaze flicked upward to see the girl with the twin blond odangoes darting away from the window with a startled yelp. She rolled her eyes as she stepped away, her gaze drifting through the trees absently. I'm not sure what it is that warns me of the Sailor Scouts, but while I've heard good things of them, I have no desire to deal with them... at least not unless it becomes absolutely necessary, she thought.

Whoops, Roe thought. She deliberately furrowed her brow, "'Sailor Scouts?' Is that some kind of band?" She asked tilting her head. When Akiraa looked up, she did as well and caught the blonde head slipping back inside. She snorted a laugh, "Anyway, I think the repast is about to end."

User Image Akiraa shrugged. "Some call them vigilantes... as for me, I'm not really one to care either way; my path isn't theirs," she said quietly. She shifted her weight, glancing around at the various students, including the brunette she recognized as Kino Makoto near the girl with the twin odangoes. I can sense power rolling off of both of them, Makoto... and the girl with odangoes, she thought. She sighed slightly. "Might as well eat while we can, you know," she said with a slight smile.

((Heya...we gonna get a cameo of your other character you're working on? I figure, since we're here, might as well give all the characters a little work out. XD))

"Oooh...Yeah i think I remember reading something about them in some newspaper." she raised a brow at the next part of her statement and then curled her mouth a little, amusement leaking into her voice, "What, you're like them? A vigilante? You sure it's okay for you to be telling some random person that? Not that I'm not honored you'd share a secret with me, I just thought they went over keeping secret identities secret in Vigilante 101." She gestured for Akiraa to lead the way. She could eat a little something--in fact, she could eat a lot of something. The food here was missing something which meant that she ate more to compensate. Generally she ate in binge sessions then went awhile without eating at all. As it was, a little nibble would be nice."

User Image Akiraa snorted out a laugh as she pushed off the tree. "Not on your life... I know about them, but I'm nothing like them... besides, I don't have any special powers that I know of... but I do have more than enough martial arts experience to back it up. I've trained in Krav Manga, Tang Soo Do, Judo, and Tiger Style Kung Fu and recently got my black belt in Tang Soo Do just a couple of days ago," she said with a shrug as she leaned against the tree at her back after walking several yards without sitting down. She noticed a guy with dark reddish gold hair striding toward them, his dark topaz eyes seeming to glow from within. A shiver of awareness shot down her spine as she sensed his power. Damn... there's something about him that's almost... more than human, she thought. She saw the guitar hanging over his shoulder as her gaze flicked back to Roe.

Ryuusei's gaze flicked over both girls that were talking, dismissing them unconsciously as his gaze shifted to the trio of girls sitting under a nearby tree. Ryuusei shifted slightly, seemingly absently dropping his bento near the girl who hadn't yet noticed him. For an instant, his irises glowed a pale yellow as lightning sparked for just a split second through them. He wasn't really hungry, nor was he normally charitable to anyone anywhere near him; it was part of his mother's genes that gave him his somewhat distant and standoffish nature.

((there he is! He set the bento next to....Roe? Will work under that assumption, will edit if I'm wrong))

Still on her perch high above, Aerie tilted her head back and chimed again, this one, however was a low tone similar to that of a large bell.

Movement had her glancing over. She glanced down and blinked at the full bento box next to her. She turned and then turned again because the boy had already walked past her so she didn't get a look at his face, only the curious color of his hair. She jerked back around at the low tone that filled the air. She didn't say anything but her gaze flickered over to Akiraa.

User Image Akiraa shifted slightly, the only sign she'd heard the tone as well. She shrugged slightly, silently saying she wasn't sure what the tone referred to. "I'm not sure who's making those tones... it could be a distant church or the music room," she said idly, opening the bento in her hands; it was only clear from a slight tension in her body that not all was as it appeared. Unconsciously, she knew the draconian was nearby, though she wasn't going to mention it out loud. I don't know if you can hear me, ryu-shisho, but I'm curious about you, she thought. She failed to notice a very slight flicker of lavender blue flame materialize momentarily at the tips of her fingers. She deliberately used the respectful suffix to the draconian since she was certain the guardian had more technical experience that she could access consciously than Akiraa herself; she wasn't consciously certain why she used the suffix, but didn't care that much.

Ryuusei paused momentarily at the odd tone that shuddered in the air. For an instant, his irises flickered a deep orange, swirling into the deep topaz of his irises, though he didn't turn around toward the tone. The long jacket rustled slightly as his hands slid beneath it before he continued onward for a few feet before sharply pushing off the ground and landing in one of the trees several feet away from Akiraa and Roe. His instincts warned him something that wasn't unnatural, but not human, was nearby.

Aerie shook herself and hunkered down, Almost there, she thought, feeling Akiraa's foray into mind speak. She didn't catch specific words but she could feel her ward starting to reach out. Almost time, almost time. Her gaze strayed to the male. He made her nervous and she wasn't sure if he would be helpful or hazardous to her ward, if they were going to be in contact, she'd have to keep an eye on him.

Roe, for her part, was fine and dandy with taking free food. She'd picked up the bento and opened it. Spotless and appetizing. She immediately dug in, making a mental note to clean and return the container and thank her benefactor, whoever he was. She picked up a vibe from him but it was had to pin down. Roe knew what the tone was, and her suspicions about Akiraa were confirmed when she mentioned the sound. So this is was who you were for, she was thinking back to her encounter. It amazed her...so many of them in one spot.

User Image Akiraa noticed the guy pausing and thought she sensed something. Odd... for a moment, I smelled ozone, as if lightning were about to strike, she thought, unconsciously reaching out to Aerie without really noticing it. She saw him push off the ground and heard a faint clank when he pushed off. "Weights," she murmured under her breath. She wasn't sure if Roe would catch her murmur, but thought he glanced toward her as if he'd heard her. She blinked, noticing his orange irises. He isn't what he appears... his irises were dark gold or topaz before... now they're kinda reddish orange, she thought as her light blue eyes locked onto his for a moment. She dropped her gaze, missing the fact that his eyes widened before he looked away.

Ryuusei heard the girl with violet bangs murmur under her breath and unconsciously triggered his mother's unique talent, known as the Kazangan, which made his irises turn a reddish orange that glowed slightly. Almost immediately, his color vision shifted to grays, whites and blacks as he saw the auras of those nearby. He was somewhat surprised to see that the girl with the odangoes nearby had a pure silvery white aura that was intensely powerful, while it blended smoothly into the electrical green aura of the brunette girl near her. He was surprised, however, by the intense bluish lavender aura of the girl was staring at him as well as the prismatic gold aura of the girl he'd given his lunch to. He'd only taken a couple of sticks of dango out of it. I owe you one, Anko-sensei, for getting that woman to teach me to make my own dango... fortunately I was able to repay you before whatever hurled me here did so, he thought, letting the orange fade from his irises to be replaced by the more normal dark golden topaz.
