As the captain whispered in her ear, she didn't feel any fear. No, she believed she was very much in control of this situation. He poked fun at her which was going to get him clobbered in the very near future. So the small jab at her chest size went ignored (she did have a decent sized chest, but it wasn't like she ever gave a damn about it). She was about to grunt out something along the lines of I don't make mistakes when her whole perspective of the situation was completely flipped around.
One moment she had been street level, and she didn't even blink before the world around her had completely changed. Suddenly she was 5 stories up, able to see tall buildings from different angles than she could usually see from street level. Her stomach felt almost as if it was going to jump up through her throat and her legs tingled as if she had lost all of the muscles there. From where she stood after teleporting to the rooftop, she could already see the street down below them. "...s**t..." she uttered in a quiet tone.
"I wonder if this fairy can fly."
Hands let go of her body and soon enough were shoving themselves against her shoulders. Her body lurched towards the left and her feet were soon relieved of any grounding underneath them. Her body felt weightless for a split second.
It was as she began to fall that she heard the captain's final words to her. "Guess we'll see."
For Sailor Iris, life had always played at normal pace, everything coming at her as it came to her. Life never slowed down for her, and that was how she preferred it.
Yet now as her body began to fall from this sudden height in the air, everything began to slow down. Her heart thumped heavily in her chest, and her breath almost seemed to disappear completely, cutting out any screams of absolute terror that might have been tempted to escape her. Even if she could scream, she probably wouldn't have heard it. All she could hear were four words that echoed in her mind.
I'm going to die.
Her body was falling, her left side facing the world beneath her, feathers from her uniform loosening up and whipping past to linger in the air just a bit longer.
I don't want to die yet.
What would happen if she died? How would her parents take it? What about Hank or Phil? Or Jared or Zuniga? She'd never see them again. None of them knew she was Sailor Iris. She, Ellie Spectre, would be letting them all down. Was that all she'd be to them if she died now? A disappointment?
That wasn't the way she wanted it to go down! She still had so much to do. She needed to get her automobile driver's license. The Vortex was in her garage, still needing to be finished up so that she could drive it around the town. She needed to race the Vortex and the Spectrum against the best vehicles in the city. Her dream of owning her own auto repair garage would never happen if she died here. Hell, she had never even had a pet dog of her very own! How the hell could she die contently without ever having the joy of owning a dog?!
The world beneath her seemed to be drawing closer, though the reality of it was that Iris was the one getting closer to the world.
This isn't how it's supposed to end!
She had only been a senshi for two years, yet she felt as if the senshi career would be ending too soon if she died now. What would happen to the team if she died now? Or *********? Oh god, what would ********* think about this whole thing?! She still needed to do so many things with Lil, Waylon, and Lydia. Hell, she even wanted to now do things with Ridley, Lissy, and Evie! Plus, they still needed to find Victoria, whoever that ended up being! It couldn't end here, right now! Could it?
It can't end this way... it just can't...
The asphalt below her was now dangerously close. It was now when the truly brave wouldn't have flinched, staring death straight in the face. Many might have assumed Sailor Iris would have been that person, eyes wide open as the Grim Reaper came to claim her. However, her eyes pinched shut, the blonde almost trying to hide from the inevitable.
...it can't end this way...

"TEDDY EXTRA COMFY CATCHES!" Her shoes were pounding against the pavement, her heart in her ears as she ran. She just had to make it Barnaby had to be in the right spot, she couldn't let the other yellow clad senshi down!
Barnaby found his way under Sailor Iris; at least that was the child's strongest hope. Hug-bell had watched from a distance when the captain caught Iris. She couldn't hear much of anything they were saying but when he teleported to the roof top Hug-bell couldn't wait any more she was moving as fast as she could. She'd been patrolling and hoping to find other chibis when she felt the presence of a Nega captain and an Eternal senshi.
Curiosity had gotten the better of the chibi, she was glad it had. "Sailor Iris!" She called hoping Barnaby was in the right place. She was thinking about the times Sailor Iris had helped her, standing there now the only thing the chibi could do was hope for the best. She bit her lip watching the Eternal fall, it seemed to take forever, and the child was looking around worried. What if Wolfy showed up or another nega?
She closed her butter yellow eyes; she just couldn't bear to watch Iris land. This is why she decided to focus on who was around them if anyone, that way she could protect sailor Iris if she had too. Standing there she was trying not to panic at the thought of the older senshi falling, and hoping that Barnaby could do his very best job. "Don't worry *********.... I'll save her." She whispered hoping she wasn't lying, even though the cat wasn't there.

"TEDDY EXTRA COMFY CATCHES!"
The words echoed around her, but it was hard for the senshi to hear. She couldn't even comprehend what it meant. All she knew was that her body was supposed to smash against the asphalt, and instead she initially felt something padded underneath her. It definitely wasn't what she was expecting when it came to her death. However, as her body continued to fall downward heavy, gravity relentlessly smashing her into the giant teddy bear. Her whole left arm, which had received a majority of the impact, crunched beneath her body as many bones broke. The pain almost seemed to consume her whole being for that moment. Her lungs finally seemed able to draw in some oxygen again, for soon enough she was screeching in pain.
After such a heavy impact, Hugbell's bear wasn't able to stay large for too long, shrinking back to its usual size. The fallen eternal senshi was practically paralyzed at the moment from the pain. She couldn't even muster up the strength to get up. A single gold eye managed to open up a sliver, catching upon a familiar yellow hooded fuku.
One phrase escaped her lips.
"...call 9-1-1..." Having used up the last of her strength, the blonde girl passed out. Within moments of losing consciousness, the eternal senshi's fuku faded out, leaving a relatively normal looking teenage girl who had just had the worst day ever.

Hug-bell jumped when the WHOMPF noise of Sailor Iris hitting Barnaby caught her ears. Her eyes clinched tighter for a few seconds before turning to see the senshi asking for .... "Right!" She double and triple checked as fast as she could. Dehenshining quickly as well Istas pulled her backpack around and grabbed her cell phone dialing as fast as her little fingers could manage.
"H-Hello.... 911...." There was a pause as the child looked at Sailor Iris. Ohh what was she suppose to tell them. "Help...." She squeaked not sure what else to say looking around for a street sign, "N-no it's this lady." She frowned. "She fell..... I... she's hurt bad OH PLEASE HURRY!" She spouted off a street sign name when she finally located one and was trying to see if the girl that was Sailor Iris was still breathing.
The child looked panicked trying to stay on the phone with 911... "I gotta call someone else.... No I really have to let them know. Please.... I know...." She paused when they asked how old she was, "That doesn't matter.... YOU NEED TO GET HERE NOW." She shouted before hanging up and dialing the next person she could think of. Zia, she was going to need a way to get out of the hospital without her parents knowing. OH she was going to be in so much trouble if they found out. "ZIA answer the phone. When, you get this call me back, Okay? Okay!" She sounded a little panicked.
For the next phone call the child pulled out her sailor phone. Running through the numbers she finally found one she barely ever used because she normally would call Hygiea. She let the phone ring and finally the manx's voice came over the phone. "*********?" The child heard the wailing of the sirens in the distance. "Are you sitting down? I.... uh..." She looked at Ellie. "I have something to tell you...." The child swallowed not sure how well ********* was going to take the news. She knew her parents NEVER liked to tell anyone over the phone when someone else was hurt.
