Jem walked around the castle, eyes alert for danger and spies after the Black King's weapons. He sighed, as he checked the perimeter of the castle for the fifth time. Jem walked inside and let his hand lay gently against the hilt of his sword."I don't even know why I need this..." Jem thought."I could just turn into my Bandersnatch form." He stopped and looked at the floor."It feels different without the Red Queen here..." He shook his head and set his head straight. "Such thoughts will get me and trouble. Besides, the Black King treats me well enough." Jem nodded to himself and continued to walk forward.
"Why, I'm Alice!"
