Ai gave a smile before he continued on with the measurements, "We are going going to go to the fabric samples next, so that you can pick out what you want your outfit to be made out of." He told him, "I think that will be fun, don't you?" He hoped that Dinnye would enjoy that, to be able to pick out all of the details of your outfit from the look of it to what it was made of, even the colors. That was the fun of his shop and what he hoped would draw in a lot of good customers. For the moment though instead of worrying over anyone else it seemed as though all of his attention was on his friend and his friend's outfit since it was the first one of this size that he would be making. Something that had Ai rather excited.

"Alright, almost... and done." He said, turning to write down the last of the numbers before giving Dinnye a smile, "Thank you, you did very well." Better to have someone that didn't squirm around while he was trying to get the measuring done. It was done much more efficiently this way.

"Eager, huh? Wonderful!" He said, leading the way over to his work table so that he dig around for the book of fabric samples that he got to help in his business, "Here, hop up here and you can through the different samples. If there isn't a certain color that you want I am sure that I can find it for you." He reached over to dig around a moment more to get out a book that had different color samples in it, so that Dinnye would be able to pick out both things together. Stepping back from the comfortable chair that was pulled up to the table so that Dinnye could take it over Ai gave a smile. He was rather looking forward to seeing what he picked out, to get a better feel for what the outfit was going to look like, feel like, and how the color would look on Dinnye.

"Feel free to take your time. You don't have to worry, I plan to be here for a while tonight so there is no rush." He told the younger Pocky boy before he headed off to find himself another chair, dragging it over to the desk so that he could sit down and wait.

Ai looked at the ones that Dinnye picked out, rather liking each of the fabrics, but then again he was a little biased and loved all the pretty sorts of fabrics that were in the book, "Hrm? Oh, you want me to pick the colors? Alright, I think I could do that." He said, looking Dinnye over closely, in a thoughtful manner, before he started to look through the color swatches, wanting to find colors that looked just right with Dinnye's bronze coloration.

"I think that something a similar color to your eyes might look nice." He said, giving him a smile before he looked down at the colors and found the right one. He tapped a finger against it, "This would look nice. What do you think?" He really wanted to make sure that it was something that Dinnye approved of, wanting for him to like what it was that Ai was making for him since the boy was going to be the one to wear it around, "I think that it will look nice on you, you are quite cute, even smaller then me I think you look nice." He told him, worried that maybe Dinnye thought that he were to small or to plain or something compared to Ai himself. Ai was used to wearing fluffy, elaborate clothing and standing out from the crowd, it didn't mean that he was more amazing then his friend since Dinnye had much more interesting coloring.

"Good?" He asked, seeing that smile on his lips he took the color swatch out of the book and laid it down with the sketch and measurements, then went through the five different sorts of fabric that Dinnye had picked out for him. He seemed to be debating on them for a moment before he tapped one of them, "I think we should go with this one, it would be quite pretty in this color and on you." He said as he took it off and set it on the paper as well before he pushed it over so that Dinnye could see everything all together.

"Here we are, this is the plan. Is there anything that you want to change about it? Anything that you want to add or take away? We can do so now since we are still in the planning stage." He told him, giving him a smile.

Ai looked at the note that his friend was writing out and his cheeks colored a bit, "A show? Do you think that people would be interested in such a thing?" His business was something that he loved, that he put his heart into, but the idea of it being worthy of a fashion show... it was something that just had his heart thudding in his chest at the mere thought of it alone, "I would need more models, maybe some of my guardian's friends... and you if you wanted to be my smaller model. I could always invite Kal to be one as well if he wanted." He mused to himself.

Looking over at Dinnye again he gave a smile, "It might be fun, it would be a lot of work to set up though. First things first though, getting your outfit or outfits ready. We can worry about payment later, after I get them done." He told his young friend, giving him a kiss on the top of his head. He was a little unsure of about all he would have to do but he supposed that he could talk to his guardian, see what she thought, what she knew, and how she thought that he should go about this. Picking everything up he tucked it into a folder and put it with his sewing machine, "I will start on this soon, for now though what would think about ordering something in for dinner? Unless your ready to call for your ride?"

Ai watched as Dinnye set about writing down stuff furiously, and a whole lot of stuff from the looks of it. He couldn't help but to be curious as he waited to see what it was that was being written down before the message was handed off to him and he set to work on a second one. He looked a bit surprised before he set to reading it, eyes going a little wide at what was being said. So there was a costume party, was there? He gave a nod of his head, "I am sure that I could figure out something though if I were to design something for your father as well as you I would need his measurements. Do you think you could get him to stop by for me to get them?"

As the other paper was held out to him his eyes went rather wide and his cheeks colored a little, "My debut, huh? That is a little intimidating to think about, do you think that they would really be interested in my designs?" He asked. He'd said that they were his father's 'important friends' which worried him just a little bit. Would he be able to impress important people? Looking around the room, at what he'd made thus far, he steeled himself. Of course he could! He worked hard, put in long hours, did everything by hand to make sure that it was nothing but perfect. Of course he would be able to impressed them and stand proudly in the clothing he made. If he couldn't be confident he didn't belong in this business after all!

"It's intimidating but exciting. I think it would be a fun way to really advertise my designs, especially with you as one of my models." He said, certain that given Dinnye's cute face that he would help in selling to those important people he'd mentioned in his second note.

Ai looked at the newest note before nodding, "If you don't think he would mind coming in at such short notice today would be fine, it would mean that I would have more time to get to work on the costumes. Having you both here would mean that the two of you could help me with colors, fabric, and everything else we did for your first outfit." It would be nice to get input for the both of them if he were supposed to make outfits that went together, "The same would apply for Aliciana, that she would need to come in for measuring when she has the time."

Three costumes for a Christmas ball... he wouldn't have a lot of time, it would mean long hours at the shop he thought to himself but decided that, since it was for his dear friend, that it would be worth the long hours, "I should be able to attend, yes. I have many outfits of my own already made so I would just need to find one of them to wear as well as some accessories and I should be good to go." He said, giving the boy a smile. He really would like to see people wearing the clothing he made, not just for a fitting but actually during an event. It would be so exciting... and not just one person, but three! Three people, all different sizes, ages, and one even a different gender from the other two. He closed his eyes for a moment, head tilting back, and seemed for a moment to be daydreaming before giving a smile, "It would be rather neat I think." He mused to himself before his eyes opened again, looking at the next note from Dinnye.

Reading it over he gave a smile, "The best thing ever, I will make sure to put my heart into each piece to assure that it is in fact the best." He assured his friend, not wanting him to worry for even a moment.
