"That could work, maybe one or two that aren't even dealing with paintings." Since there might just be more than the one he knew of which pertained to the mythology behind the story of Helen of Troy. Costumes though...that was a bit too far in his opinion but he could see a few of there class mates as they type to do it, especially the girls in Grecian style dresses thinking it was just how people dressed then. She'd wind up playing some sort of Vanna White role, presenting or making hand gestures to pictures or whatever physical presentation their group had. Oh yes, he could picture that now.
"Yeah, maybe on or two posters of paintings and one or two of other things pertaining to it. That should aid us in keeping some attention on us." But what he didn't know, but they'd figure it out.

"So. Helen. War in Sparta. Paintings, but no costumes -- " And that made him flush a little, because, well, maybe he liked that idea. A little. On some level. Not being the one to wear them, no, but the creation could have been an interesting prospect. Maybe he could find someone willing to dress up for Halloween...
"Okay. Library, when?" Two tables over, a paper airplane was loosed, and the teacher snapped out an unimpressed sound. They were too old for that, really. Should be focusing on college. But Jude's eyes traced its path all the same.

Arian fiddled with his pen absently again “How about tomorrow?” he suggested. “I guess sooner is probably better, although we've got a couple of weeks to work on this.”
He looked at Alexandre, then Jude “What time would be best for you both? I'm pretty flexible time-wise” he said. “On most days except Friday – I have track practice after school on Fridays.”
He remembered that Jude had mentioned he worked, but wasn't sure if Alexandre also worked a job after school.

Lucky for them, all of them, he didn't have duties till late in the evening. If he had to he could ring his father and ask his father to water his plants. He could give him an idea on how much on each plant and how to tell if they needed water. It wouldn't be too hard to accomplish.
"I'm free, nothing too constraining till later in the evening when I have obligations to fulfill." He spoke, making a note in his notebook to look into the painting, or paintings, he made a note on what he did remember of it but nothing else. He'd find out the name and look into the artist. If there were multiple paintings he'd let the other two see and pick which one or two they wanted to print. He doubted any of the pieces would be...something he disliked.
A glance to both males in his group, They could settle the time and day, since he was the most able to make any time or day they could arrange.

A pause, a hesitation, Jude distinctly uncomfortable with the fact that date and time hinged on him. Really, he probably couldn't afford to skip work, but saying that would cue in a sense of pity that made him wince, worried eyes -- or at least some kind of judgement. Maybe that was in his head, but it was in his head strongly enough that he couldn't bring himself to face it, just now.
"Um. Tomorrow's fine." He could just let them know today that something had come up. His eyebrows knitted as he considered the possibility of snatching up a weekend shift, the pen gone fidgety in his fingers again. "I'll take notes and stuff later tonight."

While waiting for Jude and Alexandre to respond, Arian had flipped to the back of his exercise book, torn out the back page and had carefully split the paper into two.
“What about half past five for a meeting time?” Arian looked at Jude, “Is that okay with you?” Not that the dark-haired teen was particularly fussed with what time was decided.
While waiting for the other's response, he fished out a notepad from his rucksack, consulted something and then carefully printed a mobile phone number on the two pieces of paper before pushing one towards Jude and the other in Alexandre's direction. “In case something comes up and neither of you can make tomorrow” he added by way explanation. Although to be useful it would mean actually remembering to carry the thing.

A slip of paper was taken from his own notebook, the very back, and his pen scribbled out his own cell phone number. "For the same reason." He said sliding the slip, once torn in two, toward each of the other teens.
"Perhaps a little earlier, dinner time and the like." Some parents did like their children home for a proper dinner, not that his was one such family but perhaps Jude's was? "We could go early, right after school, take enough time to grab our books before we leave?" And with the idea of someone possibly missing tomorrow's date he decided to speak up again with a suggestion. "Perhaps we can also find a second date, before this is due, in case anyone misses tomorrow for whatever reason." Who knows what can come up suddenly, between now and end of school tomorrow. Anything could crop up.

"Whenever's fine." He looked down at his hands while he said it, awkward and uncertain, carefully working to tear up his own sheet of paper. Not rough strips, but equal squares, and impossibly tidy handwriting jotted across each one with his name neatly below it: Jude Harrow. No texts, please..
He blinked up at them, holding out the paper. "Library. Four or five? For an hour or two, anyway, and...I don't know. Bring something you want to talk about?"

“After school's fine with me,” Arian said quietly. He looked at Alexandre “I agree that having an alternative date is probably good too.” It wasn't something that he'd thought off, but it would be good to have some sort of date in reserve in case something came up tomorrow. “If someone can't make tomorrow, then maybe we can can meet some time next week – that way it still gives us a week to work on this.”
Picking up the two slips of paper that had been passed to him, Arian slipped first one, then the other into the inside pocket of his rucksack, feeling slightly envious of the neat handwriting that was on the piece of paper that Jude had passed across – Arian knew that at best his handwriting was messy. He tapped his pen absently on the desk, maybe he'd take some time tonight to write up his notes and try to make them at least a little neater.

The slips of paper he'd gotten had similar to Arian's done to them. They were slipped into his messenger bag and his attention was back on his partners for the project.
"That sounds good." That was to Jude as he nodded his head once. "I'll work tonight to gather whatever I can so I don't come empty handed." That would be rude, among other things. And he wasn't the sort to be rude or slack off. He'd just have to dig up what information he wanted, and needed, as soon as he got home and work through his homework then. Maybe he'd take tonight off from duty, so he could get some research done. He didn't need to run himself right into the ground, though he did look like he was lacking in sleep and he was aware of it.
"Why don't you two decide on the alt date and time, since I seem to have a schedule that can be shifted about a bit easier." So tomorrow they'd go to the library and...that would be up to the other two.

"...alt..." Jude's expression was confused, looking up at Alexandre again and then past to the frowning teacher. They were probably intended to actually spend this time working, not planning, but with the noise a steady buzzing around them, who could focus here? They'd taken the better option. Except that now he wasn't sure he'd heard right.
"How about we just all show up, I think it'll be fine. I can't take two days...I mean. Let's just all show up. And whoever does show up will get stuff done." Limit the amount of time they had to spend together. Jude shook his head, digging for his planner to jot it down.

“Okay so meet in library tomorrow after school.” Arian said after Jude’s response, the words more his own benefit than anyone else’s. “I guess we could re-look at an alternate date some other time if we need to – I mean we’ve got each other’s mobile numbers – or if for some reason someone misses tomorrow they could always grab one of the others at school or something.”
A shrug “At least we have a plan of sorts.” From the loud chattering from some of his fellow classmates it sounded like a great more than they had. “Do we need to plan anything else out do you think?” If not he'd probably use some of the remaining class time to make a start on writing up some his notes now – while the idea to do so was still topmost in his mind.

"Oh! You have a job and you have to take off for the first time..." Jumping to the obvious conclusion when Jude said take two days, there was really only one thing he could mean in Alexandre's mind. He was taking off work for the first gathering.
"Alright, so tomorrow, the one date." Nodding as he spoke, confirming everything in his mind with each nod to his spoken words. "I don't think so, I don't think I could focus enough over the sound of these twittering idiots to get any actual work done." He stated, glancing around with suddenly narrowed slate eyes. They were loud, annoyingly so, and all so happy and bright and cheery and he felt like grinding his teeth for a moment.
"If we do have an alt date it could just me you and me Arian, if we need to finish anything with setting up what we'll have. We should, if we work hard, be able to get everything done in one meeting." Glancing to the clock he waited, class should be over soon and then off to math.

That actually got a brief flicker of annoyance across Jude's face, his attention turned down to the paper still, mostly covering up the not-quite-an-eye roll. This was exhausting, and he kind of just wanted to get to reading his bit and wondered why they always set everything up into teams instead of just letting them work on their own, sink or fail...
"How about we all just show up tomorrow, on time, like responsible kids." It was a little sharp, but only a little, And he didn't look up as he said it, instead, flipping through the pages to find where he needed to start.
