Pokedex Info: The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys. The crystalline organ on this Pokémon's chest appears to be its brain. When it changes form, an aurora appears. It absorbs attacks by altering its cellular structure.

Personality: Soar is alien to most of the world; when he isn't in his most familiar environment [oddly enough, inside of human buildings] he tends to be clumsy and easily bewildered. It's a sorry sight for wild pokémon, who can't be blamed if they take him for mentally challenged, and Soar's inability to communicate in pokémon can make it difficult to correct that impression. He's still able to touch their hearts with his gentle heart and almost frantic efforts to make friends with the native wildlife, as well as his sincere joy in the face of new discoveries (which could be totally mundane stuff as far as anyone else is concerned).

Even though Soar is strong and knows it, he's not always brave when it matters. He gives a pause for thought before getting swept into events, and harmful things may take place while he hesitates. (Caution has its merits and downsides.) It's not like he doesn't care, however! Even for insignificant matters, he can even get into small bouts of panic if he accidentally hurts or messes something up.

Around Lore, Soar is a lot less timid and enjoys traveling in her company a lot more than on his lonesome, and barely ever uses his powers. One could say that around humans, he acts more human than around pokémon. Even though now he leads an epic and fascinating lifestyle of quests for meetings and adventures in the wild (while avoiding humans as per advice) for personal growth reasons, he does not plan to do this forever. He would return to the civilized life someday, a point of conflict between himself and Lore seeing as she really thinks he should consider less dangerous options. He hasn't told her, but he's heard of shapeshifting and illusion-casting pokémon, and wonders if he can learn how to take human appearance from them.

One thing that Soar cannot get used to in the wild is the distinct lack of video games that he used to play at the facility. The cell phone games would be a consolation (no pun nintended) but the durned thing keeps fritzing out on him. Yep, he's like those we all know for which physical go-out-and-play games are less appealing to him than viddyagamez. XD

Bio: Like all other Deoxys, Soar came in on a meteor; his particular piece of space rock (for lack of gender-neutral pronouns) had for destination a desert of snow and ice on a continent north of Natao. Not long after materializing the empty land had numbed him back to a dormant state. Due to chance, the Deoxys was not lost forever; the meteor's impact was observed by a microbial research facility on the edge of the frozen land and when weather finally permitted, they brought him back from the site.

Pokémon research was outside their field, so they had nothing to do with the Deoxys aside letting him aimlessly wander the compound much like a slowly moving potted plant. They planned to transfer him where people would know what to do with him, but transport to and from the city was rare from this icy land and when the incident happened, everyone at the facility became indebted to him; putting his future into stranger's hands became unthinkable, so his presence was to be kept under wraps from then on. Not difficult, considering the location. At that point, he was still mostly unresponsive.

Then Lore arrived. It's thanks to her choice use of spare time that the pokémon's mind snapped back to reality. Soon he was demonstrating amazing learning ability, and everyone at the lab was helping him learn to communicate. It became common to see the Deoxys playing board games with Lore and helping the humans on all sorts of tasks around and outside the lab. To Soar, Lore was (and still is) his best friend and his better half. This is why some time after the young researcher left for Zatao, the Deoxys decided to leave his 'home' and fly across the ocean to reach her. Even though he somehow found Lore, Soar knows that a legendary in plain sight near humans is generally a bad idea and spends most of his time stumbling into adventure in the wilderness, bedazzled by all of the life and activity; Even though his BFF gave him a cell phone for them to better keep in touch, it's often on the fritz due to the electrophotomagnetic effects of his powers so they've been failing at planning their meetings ahead of time.

Ability: Overgrow: Grass type moves do 1.5x damage when the pokémon is at 1/3rd of its HP or less.
Egg group: Monster + Grass
Pokedex Info: A seed was planted on its back at birth. The bulb provided nourishment for growth and can store sunlight and numerous seeds.

Personality: Mytheesaur is the type of pokémon to have her own ideas about everything and break a bunch of norms relatively often to to do as she please. For instance, she taught herself to read and isn't wary of humans. In fact she frequently passes herself off as a trained errand-running pokémon in human-populated areas, taking on odd jobs that grant her the ultimate luxuries a pokémon can have in the wild and also teach her additional skills in the process. For instance, the people of Motterossa have gotten so used to seeing her running errands around town that many would not be convinced of her status even were they to encounter her in the wild itself. Despite always doing her own thing, this bulbasaur cares for the other wild pokémon and the land around her. Having grown up alone, however, she finds fluffy displays of emotion to be majorly embarrassing.

Bio: Over the years, Mytheesaur's cozy suburban hut hidden in the brush of a cliffside has turned into a treasure trove of shinies, at the same time giving the bulbasaur cause for worry whenever there are less civilization-acclimatized pokémon fiddling with her stuff and home, though she it be and even lets them keep things they like as long as they don't take or break more than she can earn back with ease. After all, she fancies herself in something like a "provider" role and dreams of starting a pokémon village. This is only one of the reasons for which she adventures around a lot; scouting for territories and pokémon to put this dream into motion. In any case, for now her sturdily-built, pillow-garnished home serves as a casual hangout for the beginnings of a pioneering group of pokémon.
