His intention was to let Zac sleep, stumbling up to his feet and out of the bed, mostly getting up because his bladder was protesting so strongly. The second he got up, though, the world wobbled and he was left stumbling, clutching at the wall, footsteps much louder than he'd wanted. Ever cursed quietly, almost losing his footing, and then winced at the sound of his own voice.
This sucked. He needed more drugs. Alcohol. Maybe to not send his youma into space to get killed. He'd remember that for next time.

Zac looked up sharply at the sound and cursing, you didn’t make it as far as General at least without getting a little nervous. His own curse joined Ever’s as he flinched into the stabbing pain in his shoulder. “********-“ He snarled rubbing his neck and shoulder as he sat up blinking with the realization that it was someone he knew. “nnn…Hey, you alright?” He asked and cursed again through clenched teeth. “God…sit down. Sit down I’ll get you some more aspirin.”

"Zac, I have to pee, and I don't really want your help with that." Maybe getting there but -- he was managing, a hand on the wall, his head drooping, studiously watching his feet. He thought he saw the right door, the clinical feel of it. Zac had given him enough of a tour before for that.
He huffed in a breath, just flicking a brief look toward Zac as he went. "..why didn't you just get in the bed? I don't take that much room..."

“Well, one I didn’t mean to fall asleep, I didn’t think I was that tired.” He fish mouthed for a brief moment and pointed towards the correct door for the bathroom. “Right there, and I really don’t want to help you either no offence.”
He sat up and swore again at the kink in his lower back. “********…”

"Uh huh." He eyed Zac for another moment before shuffling through the door. He could manage the door and the toilet without falling it, could even wash his hands and his face, come out slightly damp and a little bit more awake. Ever still looked pale, leaning in the doorway and scraping fingers through his hair, shaggy and awkward, but -- he'd live. It was better. He just needed a few more day's of sleep.
"Everything okay?" The distance to the bed, however, was intimidating. For now he just slumped, standing with one shoulder propped against the wall.

“Yeah, yeah I’m great, nothing wrong this side of things, at least not that I’ve caught on to. “ which meant something was bothering him in uniform probably. “Here, lemie give you a hand.” He made his way over and offered an arm. “Do you want something to eat? Maybe some Aspirin?”
A pause as he twisted his neck just to make it pop. “I think I might join you in the aspirin.”

Ever didn't take the arm. Instead he folded his own across Zac's shoulders and considered his expression, how he'd fallen asleep in that chair, the crick in his neck. Obviously, he was lying. If nothing else, Zac was exhausted, and no surprise there. So instead of asking for something, Ever just shrugged, relatively indifferent, keeping the young man right there.
"...maybe we should order some pizza or something." So no one had to cook but they could both work on getting their energy back. After a moment, he tipped his head down for a kiss. Brief. A reminder, maybe. And then he finally let go of Zac to shuffle away.

A small laugh not displeased just pleasantly surprised by the small kiss. “I’m amazed that anything Italian is still on your list of good ideas for food.” He said thoughtful and rubbed at his eyes again with a soft sigh of weariness as he looked back to his notes.
“Chinese alright?” He offered after a moment, the ‘China Station’ did enormous portions for take out for pretty cheep, more if you ordered one of their ‘combo-platters’, more to set back seemed like a good idea.
He found the phone book and the number, taking for granted that it should be all right as he pried the trick bottom out of one of the kitchen drawers to check his extra funds. After he hung up he made his way into the bedroom and sat down on the edge of the bed. “How are you feeling?"
He offered the aspirin bottle after shaking one out for himself.

Ever waved it all off anyway, dropping back down onto the bed amongst the piles and piles of stuffed pandas. Anything was fine, he just went to 'pizza' due to -- well. How cheap it was. Free for him, most of the time, but even when it wasn't...
He sighed, eyes closed, listening to Zac order food with an arm draped across one of the bigger pandas. He cracked one open to stare up at the younger man, still blurry and tired and worn out and distantly worried about Smokey -- except for Zac's reassurances. Zac's reassurances helped a lot.
"Your pandas freak me out." He picked one up off the bed to shove it into Zac's arms.

“Dissing my evil army? You wait, one day they will rise and conquer the world.” He teased, tapping the bear on the head before setting it aside. “I ordered some drinks too, I figured we might as well since I think you’re not a fan of tea.” He Yawned and then covered it hastily as he caught himself. “You get used to them, I admitted, ages ago that I liked the one that Be…that Sabine gave me when she was Still Beth, that I can’t TELL her she gave me anymore. Ever since, ever since it’s been what people give me, there have been a few accidental deaths though, the ‘music box’ just had to die.”
He shifted so he could use Ever as a pillow rather than trying to claim the too much space on the bed. “I’ll hear the door…” He promised before sighing comfortably. “If Occam there bothers you just toss him on the floor.”

"...I don't know. Occam sounds like he could really cut." That was fine. Ever'd go quieter under Zac, not even bothering to correct that he actually really did like tea, it was coffee he had an issue with. Where had Zac gotten the idea he didn't like tea? Probably the spilled glass on the floor that Ever didn't even quite remember.
He hummed and curled around Zac, just about the boniest pillow in existence, still achy and sore from sweeping blows through the bulk of his youma's body but. Oh well. He closed his eyes and would likely, easily, fall asleep again.

Zac’s doorbell was defiantly one of the forces of evil in the universe. If no one else was sure of that, he was, defiantly a senshi doorbell, door buzzer…door thing. The low “NEEYYYYHHHHHHHHHH” buzz that pierced his half doze like a dental drill had him trying to strangle a panda out of more ‘startled’ than anything else, also because it was strangle the panda or accidentally drive an elbow into Ever from jerking in surprise.
He tried his best to carefully extract himself from whatever light tangle sleep had left them in and made his way to the door where he probably over tipped and fumbled to get the grocery bag of boxes and the two loose bottles of soda inside without dropping the soda. He got most of it safely onto the counter, except for the fortune cookies who made a concerted escape attempt when the bag tore, they nearly left with the rice but he caught that at least.
He stuck his head back into the bedroom, leaning into the door frame pondering if he should just stuff it all into the fridge and let Ever (and him) sleep longer, or if the smell of fresh warm food was too much of a distraction. “Food’s here…” He said more a mumble than anything else. If Ever didn’t move he’d just put it away and get it later.

Ever'd groaned and shuddered at the sound of the buzzer, wriggling his way deeper into the pile of pandas and struggling to get his head under the pillow. He did not, in fact, fall back asleep; instead he was bleary, sore, but awake when Zac poked his head in, chewing carefully on words and trying to figure out the perfect pitiful expression to get what he wanted.
"...can the food be here? It was quietly hopeful, his arm hanging off the bed.

A sleepy shuffle back to the kitchen to gather the bags, and paper cups for the drinks, perhaps not so surprising to hear a ‘better not spill it in my bed.’ Before he sat down on the floor the bag between them “Food.” He said simply and then looked frustrated.
“Annnnd I forgot utensils, ********…” He laughed quietly as he unfolded himself and went back to the kitchen. “…I’m making tea, do you want some?” He called back. The allure of the tea canister had sent its sirens call and he was giving in. He put the kettle on this time and prepared a tea-bob before returning with utensils.
“You may absolutely take the egg rolls.” He said formally, though it was less ‘kindness’ and more a fundamental loathing of them.

"Tea's fine." It was mumbled around one of those egg rolls; Ever hadn't even waited for Zac's offer before he dug in. And he was, indeed, still on the bed, but -- he worked not to make a mess of things. Really. The best way to do that was just to devour the whole thing without pausing, barely chewing, sucking on his fingers once he was done.
When Zac came back, he had in fact slithered off the bed to sit with his back against it, was poking through the food and had basically everything open so that he could take a look. And a bite. Tasting everything, and with his fingers. He blinked up at Zac.
