Faleen did not continue to argue with the women, though after eying her for another second, she turned, watching Asch leaving back into the room once again.
It did look like he was having trouble with his hair.

Letting out a small sigh, ignoring the women now, Faleen turned, looking back over to Izaya and the others. "I will be right back, I can find you later."
and with that, Faleen herself walked back into the costume room after Asch.

"Asch" she spoke quietly, pulling the mask off of her face as she addressed him. "Would you like some help?"

(Seraphine)

"A DINOSAUR?!" Was what Sera had shouted upon drawing her ticket before grudgingly stomping off to the costume rooms - but not without as much arguing, yelling, goading, and all around trouble-making as she could get away with.

In the costuming rooms, the fashion-loving girl had a large hand in picking out the fanciest pieces for Rosie's costume, mostly so she could procrastinate figuring out her own. A freaking dinosaur was the ugliest thing she could possibly have picked. UGH. But, when Rosie started helping Izumi, Sera had grabbed quite a lot of different things to try on for herself before disappearing into a private room to change. "Mmph.. Awful! I can't believe I got a stupid ugly old dinosaur. Can you believe it, Rosie? It's just horrible. Simply dreadful. Still, I think I can at least do something with all this..." Because there was no way she would ever set foot out there in what that other dinosaur girl had - she looked like a mutant Barney or something. It was appalling.

The changing room door opened a crack so a slender hand could dart out. It grabbed the feathery thing and quickly yanked it inside with an "ah, perfect!"

After quite a few minutes, Sera emerged with a flourish from the room, bedecked in a flowing outfit (more modest than she was used to) of white and gold, trimmed with feathers here and there, and a tail. That counted. "Tada! What do you think?" She asked the pair - mostly Rosie, but she didn't specify, so it didn't matter anyway - before spinning in a circle, then stopping and resting her hands on her hips.

It was true. While Asch was fairly competent with his own hair, when it came to making it girly, he was sorely lacking in expertise. Although this was to be expected considering he wasn't a girl. He stood there and stared scornfully at the various hair things in front of a vanity mirror. He knew some, and other he did not. This was so stupid.

However, when Faleen came up behind him and removed her mask, he looked up at her reflection in the mirror. He gave a relenting sigh. At least Faleen was someone he could trust not to man handle his hair. "Fine," he muttered. "It was either a wig or this." And he was not wearing some stupid wig. Granted he had too much hair for one anyway.

(Claire)

Claire was just about to leave the costume room she'd been in when some guy in a dress and oh dear Arceus it was a guy. Asch? The name was familiar - she made a point to learn the names of everyone at and above her rank - but she couldn't recall if she'd ever spoken to him before. But Faleen was there too now, and she was quite familiar with the technical woman. "Faleen," the agent said, expression brightening as she stepped over, absently fixing the black skirt around her. It was an odd style, to be sure, though it matched the top perfectly. The blue designs caught the light beautifully, and the strange wings attached to her back actually glowed blue. "Thank you for helping me with my costume," she said, which explained the glow. Deep blue eyes - different contacts than the purple ones she usually wore - flicked between the two agents before resting on Faleen again as she adjusted the long blond wig over her normally dark hair. "Do you need help with anything?"

Lilith -

While Lilith did not have the exact same reaction as the younger, spoiled, brunette girl, her first main thought when receiving her costume was a simple one. "Oh, hell no." Unfortunately, she had no real choice in the matter, and so grudgingly she walked over to the dressing room to put on her dinosaur costume. How embarrassing... It was something a child would wear! To think that a grown woman like her would be forced to wear it... It was degrading! Even so, she had to admit [even though she would rather slit her own throat than say it out loud], the clothes she picked out were rather cute.

It was simple and a tad childish, true, but it seemed to suit her somehow. Her costume consisted of a large green hoodie sweater with green felt 'spikes' running down the vertical. On her hands were a pair of green gloves shaped to look like claws, and on her feet were a pair of knee-high green boots with the slightest heel to them. She also wore green tights and green shorts, and attached to the shorts was a small felt tail. All together, she felt like a fool. She tried to keep her spirits up, though. This was Halloween! A time of celebration, where no one cares if you look dumb. She desperately hoped that that would be the case.

Looking around her once she exited the dressing room, Lilith both hoped that she would and would not find anyone she knew to mingle with. It seemed like luck was somewhat on her side, though, for she soon spotted her dear Sorano, dressed as an angel, and his trainee friend Moose, who looked to be a mobster. She wasn't sure who the other dinosaur was. Gratefully, she made her way over to the trio. "Sorano, hey! And hello, Moose," she said, regarding the blond with a polite nod. Her eyes then cast over to the other dinosaur, who seemed rather perturbed. "And, um... Who are you?"

Isadora -

"...A nurse? Really?" Isadora frowned slightly at the choice she was given. She was hoping for something like a mobster or a flapper girl, but... It couldn't be helped. Nurse wasn't so much of a change from her normal routine anyway. As long as she was dressing up, though, she might as well make her costume a little fancy and flirty, right? Normal nurses were pretty boring, but being a sexy nurse for a little while wouldn't hurt anyone! This might be fun after all.

Once Isadora had changed, she emerged looking... quite pink. She had chosen to wear a short pink nurse's dress, which came with a small pink nurse's hat and pink heels to match. Her sea-foam green hair was pulled back into a bun and [thankfully] she still wore her reading glasses. The only real downside with the dress, besides it being dangerously short, was how much it 'cupped and lifted.' And it itched like hell, too. But Isadora tried not to mind too much. It was just for fun, and she wouldn't be wearing it for too long.

After a cursory glance around, Isadora could spot no familiar faces. She pursed her lips slightly and began walking around, trying to see more people. Unfortunately, she was not watching where she was going, and she walked right into a young blonde woman who was dressed as some sort of... techno fairy. Isadora gasped a little and stepped back. "Oh, my goodness! I'm so very sorry! I didn't hurt you, did I...?"

(Asch)

She tilted her head, stepping up next to him to take a look at the items in front of Asch.
"This shouldn't be to hard, or take very long," She said.
She could tell what he was trying to do, and it wouldn't be to terribly difficult to fix it up for him.
When he agreed, Faleen reached out to pick up one of the brushes, moving to sit down next to him so she could first brush his hair out.
"I imagine this is nothing terribly new to you, considering your occupation." She commented, not making a crack at his costume draw. in reality, he did do pretty good on the costume, up till the hair.

Her name was called, and Faleen recognized it as Claire,
Faleen smiled softly, and offered a soft greeting to the other agent.
"Ah, I'm okay, I'm just going to help Asch with his hair, they won't let him through becasue of it."
she frowned softly at that, it was a stupid rule.

(Izaya)
(Kit... you made me change my mind about him being a cat XD <3 you rock)

They won't let him smoke in here, Jerome knew that, fancy place like this, Jerome would have never been able to get into it without the new people he knew and the connection he had no with Team Rocket.
It helped that it was Halloween, most of the people here thought he was wearing contacts becasue of his eyes, so he kinda fit the theme.
Still, Jerome was used to the stares by now, and honestly, it didn't bother him at all.

He had picked cat or animal. Whatever, he didn't really care what was drawn, and would have just thrown on a pair of ears.
but somehow, through the few people around him that cared to talk to him, or that he event knew, Jerome had walked out of the costume room with quite the look.

The gangster was a wolf, appropriate he through, With a hoodie thrown over his shoulders, thick fur, gray like the animal draped around his neck and shoulders and continuing down his back, half sticking up to give him a ruffled, agitated appearance.
The hood was pulled up over his head, with wolf ears sewn to the top.
The gangster had no shirt under it, leaving it unzipped, and bear chest.
Bro' had done something with his shirt, so Jerome didn't really have much of a choice in the matter.
He figured this was the ghost's opportunity to add his suggestions.

Under the hood, Jerome had a flush to skin mask over his eyes, graying his features with the designed markings of a wolf, his eyes already fitting perfectly with the consume, and only managed to make him look more intimidating, even though his mannerism's seemed as laid back as ever.

The moment Jerome stepped out of the costuming room, black pained nails stuffed into the pocket of his hoodie, dark eyes catching sight of his room mate.
He didn't say anything as he walked over, stopping by him and quietly looking over the costume that Izaya had put together.

Bro' who was invisible, seemed to be having an enjoyable time of knocking the fake tail that Jerome had hanging from the back of his pants.

User Image"A-alright- um..." Izumi winced at Sera's protests. Even after traveling together, the girl seemed no more pleasant than normal... but at least she was getting used to it. Sort of... The girl awkwardly maneuvered the wide stiff ballerina skirt so that she could sit on the stool. A pair of fake feathery wings sat on the floor against the dressing station, waiting for their new owner to put them on once Rosie was done with her hair. Her friend had gotten very excited when Izumi picked angel out of the box and had dragged her off quickly to get dressed up. She felt like one of those barbie dolls.

Sera came out from behind the curtain and spun. "Y-you look nice S-sera..."

Guy -

So, it was a giant costume party, was it? Guy had seen his fair share of social events and parties, but he couldn't recall ever going to a Halloween party. It was bound to be... interesting, at the very least. He was a little surprised at what costume he drew - a genie - but it certainly wasn't too bad. At least he wouldn't be a fairy or a princess or something.

With the help from his ever eager Anonymes, Guy finally put together a decent genie costume. It consisted of an orange silk vest which showed off his glistening man-chest, a deep red sash he had wrapped around his hips, a pair of baggy orange silk pants trimmed with a gold ribbon, and soft yellow silk shoes. There was some gold face-paint lying about, so Guy painted some gold swirls on his face and super-sexy chest. Anonymes, who also desired to dress up, got gold face-paint painted all over his body so that he looked like a golden genie's lamp. It was a pretty thorough costume, and despite it being a little cold, Guy thought it looked rather good on him.

Anonymes quickly picked out Miss Rosie in the crowd of people. She seemed to be working on Miss Izumi's hair. Guy, a smile on his face, quickly went over to his friends. Once he was close enough, he called out his greeting. "Miss Rosie! Miss Izumi! How nice to see you both here!" He, of course, stayed a decent distance away from the ladies, but he was close enough to get a good look at their costumes. Miss Rosie seemed to be a pink pirate, while Miss Izumi was an angel. "Your costumes look very nice." It was then that he noticed Seraphine's costume, and it took all of the self-control in the world for him not to burst out laughing. She looked like a giant chicken! "Oh, and, um. Miss Seraphine. You look nice as well."

Anonymes, excited to see his human friends once again, quickly floated over to Miss Rosie and gave her a large hug. Miss Rosie looked so lovely and cute! Miss Izumi looked nice, too! They all looked nice! Noticing Kiss Kiss nearby, Anon happily floated over to the Pikachu and gave her a hug as well. ["Miss Kiss Kiss! Hi! How are you?"]

"Lili!" A wide smile spread across his face like afternoon sun as he enveloped his girlfriend with a tight hug. Sorano had very little time to do that . . . so he had to take the moments in stride. "Ya look cute! What are suppose ta be . . . a lizard?"

Moose regarded her with a that smarmy grin of his and tipped a hat like a good little gent. "Hello, Lilith." he said, giving a suave pause upon her name. "Babes, you must be a pile of dinosaur bones, 'cause I'm diggin' the outfit." After, he smoothed himself between scantily clad gals and draped an arm over both their shoulders, directing them away.

Sorano laughed a little . . . nervously. What the hell was the meaning of that? "Who d'ya mean-"

"Mmphmmhm."

"Oh, that's Lennyka." he laughed. "She gots stuck with bein' a dino fer tha' 'ight."

Once again, the dinosaur's head was ripped off followed by an exaggerated wheeze. "Hi," she regarded the brunette with a bothered nod.

That fact that this shouldn't take too long was of some comfort to the red head with the wounded pride. Maybe if he was lucky, hardly anyone would recognize him. He would just have to stay quiet, his voice would undoubtably give him away.

"That's true," Asch muttered back to Faleen, his irritation still simmering beneath the surface. He would have to agree with Faleen that these rules were stupid, but his hair did look rather ridiculous, more so than if it was done right.

However, as Faleen started brushing out his long red hair, Asch went silent. He stared thoughtfully at the mirror, hardly noticing as someone else came to Faleen and started speaking to her.
PostPosted: Fri Oct 14, 2011 4:52 pm

"Claire?" The man spoke the name with genuine astonishment. "She was the one who helped you get ready?" Well, here was one relationship he hadn't been aware of. Claire and Faleen as gal-pals. Who would have guessed? It seemed the dark-haired agent had quite an influence on the blonde one if she was also the one who had convinced Faleen to attend the party. The bandwagon reason also seemed unlikely, but then again, maybe he just didn't know as much about his new partner as he liked to think. Evidently this was true, because he hadn't even considered the idea that Faleen might have come to protect him - or keep him from causing trouble.

Glancing around as Izaya, too, heard some angry shouting from one of the rooms, he raised a brow curiously as Faleen excused herself, following with his eyes. He hadn't expected her to stay by him the whole time, of course, but now he was curious. Where was she off to? He blinked and squinted, trying to see who she appeared to be conversing with. Not anyone he recognized. From what he could overhear, it seemed there was a problem about someone touching someone else's hair. The Rocket fought the urge to laugh. Who was that prima donna?

Whoever she was, she must have been more important to Faleen than her partner, because when the redhead went back into the dressing room, the agent informed Izaya and Tambery that she would find them later before disappearing in after her. The costumed hero sighed. Oh well; looked like he'd have to turn elsewhere for a laugh. Not that he'd forget that young woman; he fully intended to find out her connection to Faleen later on.

Though the info-broker was generally thorough with his observations, women didn't tend to have the same sexual appeal to him as they did to some men, so he generally looked at males and females of humanity the same way. In his defence, this may have accounted for his inability to identify what so many others seemed to have already picked up - that the irritated redhead in the ruby-and-black princess gown was actually a guy. Girls were usually more adept at picking out their own from fakes, anyway.

Orihara was busy staring after Faleen and her friend when a wolf-man stopped by. He did a double-take when he realized the newcomer wasn't just passing through, staring once he discovered who it was. "Jerry-kun?" he asked. A peal of laughter erupted from the hero. "Well, well! Who's wearing the fur now?!" Playfully slapping the bare-chested man on the back, Izaya shook his head. "Isn't it a little chilly to be showing off your handsome pectorals? Not that they aren't attractive, but if you're not careful, some girl might end up following us home." He flicked Jerome's chest for emphasis.

"I've got to say, though, you really pulled that look off, with the black sclera and all. Silent, predatory pack animal. Also territorial. Definitely fits you. Shame the rest of your pack's not here to enjoy this." he gestured around at the party, wondering if Jerome would catch his drift. "Still, a lone wolf has its advantages. How would you like to be my furry sidekick?"

Still laughing as he flexed his gloved fingers, Izaya glanced over to the girls who were busy finishing the last touches on their costume together. He knew Jerome's attention would be drawn to the lovely, blue-haired angel sitting idly as her hair was getting done. Instead, though, he commented on the feathered mess that emerged from behind a curtain. It appeared to have a reptilian tail. Recalling Sera's outburst earlier, the informant realized what the girl had tried to attempt. "I wonder if she knows that dinosaurs don't fly," he snickered, leaning conspiratorially towards the wolf.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Aila had little positive experience with parties, but she did have the part of the wallflower down pat. She wasn't terribly thrilled with the thought of yet another outing in Camphoreon, even less so when she was told at the entrance that she had to wear one of their ridiculous costumes to gain entrance. She had narrowed her eyes indignantly at the ticket - 'cowgirl,' it mandated - but had managed to salvage the outfit into something at least marginally acceptable. Besides, being uncomfortable for an evening was a small price to pay for the opportunity to keep an eye on her partner and her recruit. Not that she didn't trust the two behave rationally; that had never been an issue for Asch and Izaya seemed to be improving. However, any circumstances under which the two were in the same place at the same time made her wary, and so she was willing to suffer a little for the peace of mind afforded by being in the same room.

The girl stood pointedly to a side, watching the arriving participants. Everyone seemed to be rather into it, even those that didn't look as though they particularly enjoyed their costumes. Many of them were familiar faces; it seemed a great number of her coworkers were in attendance. Aila looked on quietly as friends met up and groups were formed. If nothing else, these sorts of gatherings tended to be interesting to observe.

Hair! "Do you need any help?" Claire asked, brows raising at the mention of Faleen doing Asch's hair. Granted it would be.. a little weird to do a guy's hair, but it was something fun she enjoyed doing, so she may as well offer.

It was then that a chubby Pikachu crawled out from wherever he'd been hiding - and it wasn't hard to figure out why, if the bright pink fairy wings strapped securely to his back were any indication. Zeus stood near Claire and got her attention with a pitiful "chu" only to point a finger at his open mouth. She just rolled her eyes at him. "I'll feed you later." He huffed and plopped on the ground next to Asch's chair. His green eyes drifted up to the male in the dress, but he simply sighed and flicked his ears back, wearing a distinctly unamused and very displeased expression on his face. At least he wasn't the only one who looked ridiculous.

It was then that Claire felt someone bump into her, and her blue eyes widened in surprise. Immediately going into super-defensive mode, she quickly spun on her heel to see who she needed to hit - but relaxed instantly when she saw who it was. "Isadora," she said with a smile, "I didn't know you were coming. Nice costume," the agent added as her smile widened a bit.

Sam always arrived early to parties. How else were you supposed to scope the best food/booze/deejays/egress routes? For a costume party, with costumes provided, doubly so. She wasn't going to be stuck with the dregs, given the random selection method of costumes for the evening. She looked at her ticket with "Mummy" printed on it. "This has potential," she murmured with a grin.

Sadly, her first idea was a bust. Almost every thing in the mummy section was blingtastically faux Egyptian. So much for being the Haraldskær Woman or a generic bog person. Plan B hit much better success. After taking a moment to observe the few people who seemed dedicated to the make up and cosmetic aspects of the night. She cornered one who showed talent in that regard and asked with a mirthful grin, "So, how do you feel about full body paint?" Apparently, he liked it. So did Sam.

Sure, the result left her skirting the line between mummy and zombie, but as she told the attendant on hand, "A mummy is basically a zombie in toilet paper. Pop culture says so." She was already skirting the line of good taste, decked out in more ostentatious gold jewelry than was probably healthy. (Who cares if mummies don't usually have nose rings?) And she was definitely clashing between green body paint and teal hair. (Community clothes chest? Sure. Community wig stand? No thanks.) At least this was the good dye, so while she might be green around the gills for the next few days, at least she wouldn't be trailing radioactive mummy slime if she sat on anything.

She examined herself critically in a mirror. The loincloth, she was very proud of. It did a wonderful job of showcasing the detail her make-up artist had painted on her skin, part of the compromise that had tipped the balance in the argument for the body dye. The exposed muscles painted on were a nice touch with the bloodied bandages that compiled the rest of her costume.

Making one last horrific face in the mirror, complete with monster claw pose, Sam strode out in search of a punchbowl. Surely by now, someone would have had the grace and good taste to spike at least one of them.
