Yuri grinned lightly and kissed her quickly. "I've got to tell the knights about this." He said, standing slowly and heading to the window of the apartment. Not long after graduation, the knights had been able to contact the young elf via messenger bird and, figuring that he'd be better off having it around than them, used it as a way of communication. The bird, a brown and grey hawk simply known as Tek, stayed mostly to the outskirts of town, but came by most days after Yuri arrived home from work. Looking through a nearby drawer for pen and piece of paper, he looked over to his lover and smiled. "I have a feeling that we'd be seeing them shortly after the message anyway...so what about if we were to meet them alongside your parents and tell them at the same time?" He suggested.

Yuri laughed lightly and looked around at their apartment. "That'd be a good idea...I can already seeing the larger of the knights knocking over things as they moved around." As long as it's been since he last saw them, he knew that not a day went by that the Kylin Knights didn't wear their armor. He thought about the cravings Lillie may have and gave a light smirk at what could potentially be on the menu. "As long as you aren't going to make me try any of that, I'm sure the cravings won't be a problem." He teased. Finally finding a sheet of paper and having to make do with a pencil, he started on making a note. "What would be a good time to break the news?" He asked. Yuri would have to let work know that there'd be a day or two he would need to have off then. Even though the work itself was part time, it definitely filled a large chunk of his week.

Turning back to the note and continuing to write, Yuri nodded. "Perhaps we could go after I send this then. I doubt you'll gain much soon, but it's probably better than leaving it at the last minute." He said, rolling the finished note up and putting a rubber band around it before looking over at Lillie and smiling. "Plus I think that also gives us an excuse to go out and celebrate tonight, don't you agree?" He added cheerfully.

Yuri grinned at the mentioning of Lillie's red dress as he opened the window. With a quiet whistle, he watched the sky until a familiar feathered friend soon landed on the windowsill. "Hey Tek, I think that's a new record for you." He said cheerfully, to which the hawk cast a look that almost looked like annoyance before lightly pecking his finger in greeting. "I'll need you to take this to Virulent as quickly as possible." He said as he fastened the note securely to Tek's leg. As the bird took off, Yuri closed the window and turned to where his wife stood. Spying the dress in her hands, he quickly walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "Let's just hope I'm the only one who's going to be staring at you the entire night." He said playfully, slowly letting go to find something of his own to change into.

Yuri smiled as he looked through the various drawers. After a moment, he found a light grey shirt and black pair of pants that seemed right for the occaision, not too formal, but wouldn't look cheap in contrast to Lillie's attire. As he changed, he looked over at her after she had pulled the dress over herself, smiling to himself as he caught a glimpse of black fabric around her hips just a split second before the dress covered her. Yuri gave a quick wink as if to say 'looks good to me' before looking for a pair of shoes. "So, what sort of dinner do you feel like? Elvish? Italian? English?..." He said, just rattling off any and all sorts of meals that made its way to the top of his head. Where else the night would take them was purely up to whatever they could think of, they were celebrating something possibly equally, if not more, important than their wedding after all.

Yuri looked up at Lillie for a brief second when she said "Richardson's', knowing she had meant her father. He didn't really know how long it would be before she called him anything else, but what he did know that he'd best be staying away from that topic. Hearing the suggestion as he found his shoes, he tilted his head slightly, it had been a while since they had American based dishes besides the ones they had cooked at home. "Sounds good to me, American it is." He said happily. Once fully dressed, he headed back out to the living room and found the phonebook, flipping through it's pages until he found a restaurant not too far from the apartment. "Looks like the closest one to us is just few blocks away." He said, part of him glad they had opted to find an apartment within the city.

Yuri smiled at Lillie and wrapped an arm around her shoulder as the two of them left the apartment, happily granting her wish. "I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather do than that." He flirted back, kissing her quickly on the cheek. Opting to take the elevator down to the ground floor of the apartment complex, Yuri stood behind his wife with both arms draped lightly around her shoulders, leaning his head over one of them to whisper into Lillie's ear. "So, how does being called 'Mommy' sound to you?" He asked softly, knowing that he himself wouldn't be able to help but grin if he were to be addressed as 'Daddy' in the near future.
