Mazin looked back and forth between the other two lions, weighing his options. He didn't want to leave Ieiunium, though he completely trusted Yareha and she didn't seem that put off by him.. and he didn't really want to stick around with Yareha himself, necessarily.
Really, he needed a break from all drama.
"Then.. I think you can handle it without me," he said, looking to Yareha and offering a small smile.

"Thanks for helping me out," Ieiunium thanked Mazin with a smile. "I hope I get to see you again before I leave," she told the grey lion. The quiet lion seemed pretty nice. Actually, aside from the sibling shouting match, all of the lions in this pride seemed pretty nice.
"By the way Yareha Afaer, you can just call me Iei," she told the other male. She always felt more distant from people when they used her full name. That was what nicknames were for, after all.

"No problem!" the white lion told his cousin. "I hope you have a, ah, quieter day," he continued sheepishly. After all, he'd been the one who started the argument.
"Well, if you're Iei, then I'm Yareha," he went on firmly. "And now," he turned to face the watering hole, away from Mazin and allowing the grey lion to leave gracefully. "This is, as I'm sure you've noticed, the water hole. It's one of the most socially oriented locations in the pride, and the odds are good that you can find almost anyone here..."
It was a damn shame that positions such as Host Apprentice and Rogue Guard required a higher rank than his own - the pride was missing out on a damn fine applicant in him.

"Enjoy your tour," he said to Iei, and nodded to Yarehaa as he was wished a quiet day. He watched as the tour began but shortly turned around to go off on his own. He might go talk to Aysu.. but not yet. Yareha was right that she needed time to cool off. And Mazin really did need a break.
