That.. almost sounded like she agreed.
"You can come with me, then, and worry about looking around and presenting yourself tomorrow," she said, "It'll be safe and as long as you're not alone, nobody will question why you're in the midst of the pride."

"Um, okay," Ieiunium agreed for lack of anything better to do. She wasn't so sure that Aysu, pregnant or not, would be able to guarantee her safe passage through the pride's lands, but the other lioness seemed so confident. And no self-respecting rogue would say no to a safe night's sleep.
She might have to say no to the pride though. All she really knew about it thus far was that it had a weird religion and one bizarre member.

"OK," she repeated with more confidence, she was thinking about what might happen next with her new friend around. She'd need to be introduced to the king and queen, of course, and the shaman.. but she could be introduced to others. Aysu wasn't sure who would best sell the pride but she thought perhaps Mazin would be a good place to start. He was a slave with a fairly optimistic attitude despite what it meant for him and Selene in the end, that would be a good way to go from.. and might be good for Mazin!
"This way!"
Aysu turned herself around to lead the walk back to her den.
